@@lovecarsTV Your videos are instant gold for me! I have deep in my hearth 360 Modena and Enzo review from back in the days. I remember every word, every sceen. Its just magic. The kind of memories that fuels my passion for cars all my life.
My poster, my model, my childhood, my dream car, all in one. Lived in Modena in late 90’s, and, well, my neighbor had it, with black Speedline rims. Yeah, the F40, but supercars are something that go straight to the heart, and this one entered mine when I was 7, and never went away.
@@campkira maintenance price of what? The F50? One could afford it to own it... Now maintenance of a NA Manual? Well it sure is more maintenance free than a more complicated turbo or supercharged vehicle.
I love all Ferraris but the F50 is probably my most favorite of them all. It has always held a very special place in my heart ever since I first saw it in the Need for Speed racing game as a kid in '99. It's just so beautiful and to me it epitomises everything that Ferrari is about: Racing technology combined with a beautiful design. I could look at the F50 forever and never get bored.
At the Launch of the F40, it was the most exciting car ever made. Over the next 30+ yrs, only a small handful of cars are as special to drive. Putting the special cars in order, maybe the F40 is not #1 anymore. But, journalists with experience of F40 and F50 always place the F40 higher. The rich, The motor journalists, the Racing drivers, all go for the F40 into their collections. Even they can afford both. Both cars are very good, but the talented and experienced people who have driven both, know the F40 is on another level. Nothing wrong with having a favorite, one of these two or a different car. Each person, has different reasons. Love your favorite car, be happy. I would love to own both.
For me is the F50. It was the first postercar in my bedroom and had also the F40 as a Bburago 1/18 scale. I was mesmerized by the details on the engine, the back end, the profile, just a marvelous looking car. Saw both the F40 and F50 at the Ferrari museum and just sat in awe and did a couple bows before them, I never even went in the next room to see the then launched La Ferrari.
They still use it, when everyone thought 3 years ago, the F12 would be the final farewell. I’m not normally that fussed over N/A vs Turbocharging and sometimes I think N/A gets too much love, but I cannot deny that having a Ferrari N/A V12 accompanying you as you blast down the road, is one of life’s great pleasures!
Jeremy Clarkson is witty, and funny. Tiff Needell is witty, and funny. And a Real Racing Driver. Tiff is so great, driving and delivering an honest review of a car that us mere morals would almost immediately crash. How and why is Tiff not a household name?
Perfectly made video. I cannot stand watching most car youtubers like Shmee or Donut Media, but this I would watch over and over again. Stellar work Tiff!
Stunning video, absolutely beautifully shot. I loved the drone footage, something which I don't ever think an F50 video has benefitted from. The shots inside the engine bay are fascinating, seeing the suspension moving. This video is the ultimate review of a 25 year old icon, it deserves to go viral!
I remember the first F50 I ever saw and heard was at Maranello, I was so excited I just about cried. Not just my favourite Ferrari, but my favourite vehicle fullstop. Great review from my favourite car reviewer.
I recall Luca di Montezemolo in a documentary on the car at the time saying something along the lines, "The Ferrari F-50 was a very difficult package, it was the first time we try to do, the Formula 1 for the road."
Love the fact we’re seeing more of Tiff again. Fifth Gear were nuts to not renew his contract he’s probably one of the best motoring journalists of all time. Funny when you hear him talk on Podcasts and stuff, he’s actually non plussed by road cars and rarely bothers to buy his own.
When I was 12-14 I much preferred the f40. Whereas when I turned 19 a few years ago, the f50 just became so much more appealing in every way. Its bloody incredible

I remember when my uncle brought a Bburago F50 in ‘95-‘96 from Italy for Christmas. The box was this grey and black checker print - I couldn’t tell it was a car, so I was unimpressed. When I took the box out of the bag and I’ve turned it around to see the F50...I was just stunned. It blew me away. The lines were so simple but yet so addictive. I played with it for years. The transverse suspension in the back had me amazed. 25 years later, I still have the F50 in my room.

It's a beautiful car to drive. And above 5K its V12 is pure magic. The F40 is by comparison rough, it feels like a kit car. But when those turbos come in, it flies, an experience like no other. What makes Jeremy Clarkson way more famous than Tiff Needell is...JC likes to make his shows (Top Gear) dramatic although he himself is way behind Tiff when it comes to driving. And JC would bash any car he hates, a behaviour almost unheard of to Tiff. Tiff, on the other hand is a pure car enthusiast who would enjoy driving cars and a skillful driver but he lacks drama in his shows (Fifth Gear) thus not attracting mediocre car fans to watch him. Yes!!! The drag race with the F40 had me yearning for an F50 bit. I just love the V12 sounds this makes, and the fact it was the last V12 mid-engine Ferrari with a manual.
