What a FABULOUS video!!!!! Omgoodness...i love everything about this. Have been to that area a no. of years back w my son. Scoped out the museum in Salem (wonderful) . I HAVE to go back now. Gorgeous!! Nothing like having a friend like Marcus!! What a treasure. Thanks SO MUCH for sharing this beautiful area.
I have a friend from grammer school and high school who moved to Massachusetts after graduation...she lives in Fallbrook, MA. I would love to visit her in the fall when the leaves are changing colors. Thank you for sharing the beautiful scenery with us!! Loved the fog too!!
Can’t help but think of Reba McEntire “Whoever’s In New England” ….awesome song!!! Lived in Chelmsford a few years as a child….Boston for 8 years….many relatives call NH , CT, ME home…..New England is stunning
I'm trying to inhale the salt air. Being from Maine, any New England view reminds me so much of home. The ocean is where I rejuvenate and reset my mind. Thanks, I needed this refreshing vlog. Happy New Year!!! Isn't 't it grey to have that one friend with whom you can pickup where you left off no matter how long it's been since you saw each other.
This video was fantastic and I very much enjoyed the views of New England. I have a friend that I have kept in contact with since I was in kindergarten. I love how you said no matter how long you’ve been apart it’s like nothing has changed. That how it is with that particular friend of mine. Can’t wait for your next adventure!!
So glad your friend was able to join you on your Boston layover and that you had an enjoyable day with him. It's ok that he didn't want to be on camera. You were still able to show us a lot of the unique New England scenery.
I believe that the expression is "long time friend", not old. I agree that there is something about certain people who were part of certain formative parts of your life that you can pick up after many years and it is as though nothing has changed. Blessings.
Steven, very picturesque. Best of all, seeing you and Marcus pick up as if you had talked only day before and every day. From what you have said about both of you, he is your BRO. Just an idea - why not invite him to LAS and you can take him to the dam and to Charleston, and maybe to the Canyon. Bet both of you would savor the time together. Believe me, I appreciate someone who is even closer than a friend. Your friend, Herman
How nice that the hotel gave you a Christmas dinner! I love that. Markus is AWESOME, tell him that your new friends wait for you to post videos and we devour them! My aunt lived in Salem before she moved to Florida, I think she was only there a few years but spent many years in Topsfield. I know Beverly and Danvers well. We used to go in the cemeteries and marvel at how old some of the gravestones were. You had beautiful weather for your trip! I almost came through the screen and stole your sandwich!
The thumbnail looks like the cover of an old-school jigsaw puzzle! So glad that you had a fun day with someone who can break your b@lls In a good way 😊.
So I'm always curious about people. I'm glad for you that you have a good friend like Markus. What is it about Markus that you feel is the basis of your close friendship thar maybe you don't feel with others. No need to respond if this is too personal.
Decades of habit, I guess. I never lived in one place as a child long enough to make friends. We moved so often. Developing friendships just never became a skill set. I guess! Most of the people I became friends with in the late '80s and early '90s have passed away, either through addiction or HIV. At this point in life, it's just easier to be so low. Lol!

I could see you retiring there. So, save your dollars and plan ahead for that little New England town living. 😊
Why do you choose to be a loner?
