The lake is also a great attraction in the Augusta area. Lots of campsites and picnic sites at the lake to go to and enjoy.

I live near Athens and I’m thinking of attending AU for nursing but don’t want to live on campus. Would the Athens campus have all the classes I need or no? I’m stressing right now LOL
Great video! Thanks for sharing. My daughter will be attending AU. What laptop do you recommend? Which one is widely used at AU, Mac or Windows?
Thank you! I personally have the 2018 Macbook Air 13 I got in 2019 right after graduating high school and it’s great! It flows very easily with my iPhone if i need to send any files or etc it’s easiest with airdrop.
However, Windows isn’t a bad option either, especially if you think she may need more storage. I see it’s pretty split as far as what students have but you can’t go wrong either way! Macbooks can be found on Amazon for around $500-$700 and Windows for around $200-$400. Ultimately, if she wants a good one long term, I say Macbook!

also where’s the amc located? i hear they have one but i can’t see it online, i work at a amc and it’d be extremely convenient to not have to switch jobs.
there isn’t a AMC, but there’s a Regal (Regal 20) , and a Riverwatch Theater , and Evan Cinemas
I’m really trying to understand their admission process. When do they send out letters? I did early action cause I do really want to go there.
Hmmm I’m not sure exactly when, but try talking with Admissions over the phone and see what they say

I honestly don't even know where to go, like I wanna go to AU but I want to live in a big city, how would you compare Augusta to Atlanta
Honestly they are very different! I live and grew up in Atl and now i go to AU because I wanted to go away and get out of the city. If you are looking for a big city vibe, Atlanta or schools like Georgia State & Tech would be best for you. Augusta itself is a large city, but it’s not known for the type of city vibe you would feel in ATL.
@@justingoddard yeah like I only live 30 min from atl, but im gonna be a nursing major, sadly gt doesn't have that and Gsu is like too much, Im between ksu, mercer, and au for in state, might go out but its gonna cost WAYY more
MMMM those are good choices though! AU. would be the best for nursing since we are a medical school, but Mercy is def up there too

I recommend using Ebay, Amazon, and ask around for it from other students because students recycle books a lot! Also, try looking for the online versions. I have found online pdf versions of books for FREE! Librarygenesis is a good site
Their are also plenty of websites that have PDFs of books!
I just can’t find $hit to do here!!

Hi, can a GPA of 3.27 and an SAT score of 1170 get me into AU?

i’m not sure that really just depends on each student and their household. my fam is from NY too and bro it’s 100% easier in my opinion. was just telling a tour i gave that same speech
