I was told in the early 2000s that the last disciple of jing Wu gave his blessing for the school to be reopened under the name long Wu Kung Fu 龙武功夫。The long Wu school was then in the French concession around huashan Lu & xiangyang bei Lu. No idea of it's still there, but the main coach was pretty good, nice guy too but it's been so long I can't remember his name😑

@@Bj-yf3im It went bankrupt during the Japanese invasion, long before the KMT fled to Taiwan. There are many groups in both China and Taiwan that teach the Guoshuguan curriculum, but it's not the official Institute
i like how you linked the founding of Jingwu with what the Japanese were doing with Budo. Are the MMA guys in Jingwu part of Jingwu or are they guys who rented the place?

To tell u the truth I always wanted to go to China and see everything I mean China gave rise to bruce lee and many more who changed alot people's thinking I used to work at lil caesars right beside it was a doughnut shop run by a Korean family and they were some of the nicest people iv ever met

Bruce Lee's movie The Chinese Connection was a good history based movie regarding Huo Yuanjia.

Was gonna also do one on Wang Zi Ping today too, but weather was a bit hot.
The sad thing is neither the building nor the Institute still exist in Nanjing now
