We just did shingles on a roof with a dewalt nailer, but ditched it abd went back to pneumatic. Looking forward to trying out the milwaukee. I just got invested into m12 line. Milwaukee has a lot of good tools, and their 12v line is the best lineup - m18 is arguably maybe at the very top in that aspect too. From a guy who mostly runs dewalt
LAID-RITE ROOFING WILL BE ORDERING ONE!, LOOKING FORWARD TO PUTTING ONE TO WORK
As a homeowner, I have the DeWalt cordless roofing nailer. It works well, but is very heavy and takes time to wind up. This is totally different. I don't like using an air hose, since the only time I've tripped / slipped on the roof was from stepping on the hose or my rope. I have another large section of roof to do and hopefully this will be shipping before then.
The 20v dewalt roofing nailer is 3lbs lighter so what the fuck are you talking about
@@loucifer4205 No need to swear about it.
If you look at Hardie specs, they call for a 2" siding nail or 1 1/4" roofing nail. I use the DeWalt cordless and it works great.
I bet this would work great with the vinyl siding attachment to nail in vinyl windows with a nailing flange.
just pre-ordered!
Great video sir, though you could of been more insistant on them getting the siding nailer out. It's been just like the track saw, FOREVER to come out !
When is this coming out?
Damn I was hoping to get one of these for doing fibre cement tile underlay sheets
Murphy's law. I recently got the DeWalt cordless. It's nice but it doesn't come with the vinyl tip. I have to buy it separately for ~$60. I also don't love the wind up. I definitely would've bought the M18 instead. Either way, it's rare that I'm roofing, so the DeWalt is more than good enough. Hoses on roofs are very sketchy. I stepped on a hose when I was 14 carrying blocks. The roof turned into an ice skating rink and I hit the deck in a split second. Luckily it was only a single story 3-4 pitch. Of course I did it not 5 minutes after the boss said to watch out for hoses on the roof lol
now all i need is a cordless coil siding nailer, will have all nail guns cordless, by milwaukee!
It was showing they had a siding tip on Milwaukee's website
When it comes available I signed up for it.
@@tylerhensley5633 I think you’re referring to the tip for vinyl siding, I’m referring to a nail gun for cement siding.
I want one for siding, for years i have been running Bostoch and is tricking to get the mails to shoot right for my helpeds
Could use this in a few weeks, too bad it won't be available for when I need it.
Needed this yesterday. Probably won't be available for another year
Q4, so sometime between Oct-Dec. Christmas gift?
Now we just need a lathe stapler and we'll basically have everything. That and a cap stapler I guess but we'll need proprietary caps I think.
A joint nail nailer too
When will it start shipping? I couldn’t understand what that guy said. I have several big vinyl jobs to do this year and was hesitant about the Dewalt.
I think OCt 2024
When he say overtemp light that remind me the fraiming nailer can be too hot sometime and stop working until he is cool down hopefully this one will not have this issue of overheating anyway i will give it a shot same
Not really an issue but a protection i should have say
Man that thing looks like it’s 3-4x faster than the Dewalt
"Shipping in Q4"??????? Whats that mean? I need this NOW!

@@ConcordCarpenter thank you, sir.
Is this out yett?
October
@@ConcordCarpenter it is October!
It might be this weekend!!! 😳 That's when the latest promos are expired
@@thunderboltpenetrator8498 I believe my sample is being shipped
Pretty cool gun but typical Milwaukee. “$1000 kit oh but we just gonna give you a 2.0 battery”
My question is…why just focus on shingle install and vinyl siding. What about your wall cladding installers and roof sheathing ? Money for Milwaukee would be in the nails but typical Milwaukee … just use other companies nails and make them more money ! As mentioned “ well look into it later” why
@@TBird89 I’m guessing their looking at all of that
