Talent wise.. I don't think there's anybody comparable to Ronaldinho.. His prime/career as a whole were short but man there were nobody like him before and there will probably never be anybody like him again. There's nothing he could not do with a ball and it looked so fluid and easy.. Anywhere in the world, if you're in your 30s-ish and you loved football forever, you've probably been a Ronaldinho fan. He brought joy and smiles to our faces as kids, got us amazed and got our eyes sparkling and even as a french guy who grew up idolizing Zidane, if there is one guy I would love to watch again in his prime.. Ronaldinho was excellent, for like three years. Messi and CR7 have been amazing for almost 20 years. Yes, he was on their level a couple of seasons, but it is a vast difference in playing at that level for such a sustained time.

He played late 90’s all the way to like 2010’s I believe but wow the memories I have of him. He’s the reason why started watching soccer AND actually enjoy it. 2000-2010 were his golden years, his time at Barca was obviously the best. He did not last as long as Messi and Cristiano, but in my opinion he is the GOAT, and often overlooked. There is no other player that gave me such joy watching him play.
He 's retired , he retired a few years ago, his peak was between 02 and 09 roughly, mainly the 3 years he spent at Barcelona, where he was absolutely insane. but he is not an active player unfortunately (Messi and Ronaldinho played for Barcelona, Barcelona had Etoo and Henry as well at that point who were all about the same level, frightening team)

From a keeper's stand point penalties are the worst thing that can happen in a game. Not only is it a one on one, but you are required to keep at least one heel on the goal line. So not only do you have to guess the right direction, you have to dive at the right height. That is one of the skills that really can't be mastered.
But a keeper can only win in penalties cause if a penalty is well executed there is no way the keeper can hold it. So it should be awesome for a keeper, cause if you hold a penalty you are a winner, if not then its not your fault.

This guy stayed in his prime for a short period of time and here in Brazil, we watched him here and abroad, i believe he's the most complete player we have seen.. It was always simply stunning to see he play. It was like a dance to him, so natural, so much talent!
Ronaldinho really enjoyed playing the game, it was very difficult to get under his skin even if you were rough on him with tackles, he 99% of the times respond with a smile. Messi learnt a lot from him and they still share a very great bond.

He played late 90’s all the way to like 2010’s I believe but wow the memories I have of him. He’s the reason why started watching soccer AND actually enjoy it. And it didn’t matter what team was playing the audience would cheer for him so loud and nonstop. He would get his round of applause for mins straight nonstop every time he would leave the field. He is LOVED and respected by everyone who has watched soccer

2000-2010 were his golden years, his time at Barca was obviously the best. He did not last as long as Messi and Cristiano, but in my opinion he is the GOAT, and often overlooked. There is no other player that gave me such joy watching him play.

He 's retired , he retired a few years ago, his peak was between 02 and 09 roughly, mainly the 3 years he spent at Barcelona, where he was absolutely insane. but he is not an active player unfortunately (Messi and Ronaldinho played for Barcelona, Barcelona had Etoo and Henry as well at that point who were all about the same level, frightening team)

From a keeper's stand point penalties are the worst thing that can happen in a game. Not only is it a one on one, but you are required to keep at least one heel on the goal line. So not only do you have to guess the right direction, you have to dive at the right height. That is one of the skills that really can't be mastered.
But a keeper can only win in penalties cause if a penalty is well executed there is no way the keeper can hold it.
So it should be awesome for a keeper, cause if you hold a penalty you are a winner, if not then its not your fault.
Yup, it’s too close to be able to react to visually. You gotta have a read on the shooter as a keeper.
