That statement you made about the Dopamine hit and addictions and the narrowing of focus is almost the exact actions that occur with dementia and people I know who have Parkinson!
Their drive for sex and sort of obsessive-compulsive behavior and actions as their disease progresses is astounding !!!
Sounds like another facet of addiction and mental illness/disease may have common a root cause in human development and survival methods.
    I pre'-ordered your book...can't wait to read it !

As much as I appreciate Dr.Huberman's knowledge, his speeches are so technical and verbose that I miss the point entirely. 😢😢

Can anybody recommend a few excellent books about achieving peak performance. Please make sure they are not long books but something about 150 pages or shorter. I hate long books.

What's with the music? Starting to sound AI- ish since many of the AI presentations I've heard add the music.

We don’t use any AI. Noted on the music - we will keep it more subtle in the future.

@RespireOfficial - yes he's said. Plus it is about his message not his clothes. So this minimizes distraction from message. And.... the latest thing with video podcasts is black backgrounds, apparently it makes things look more sophisticated.

@@RespireOfficial it's kinda like a ticktock or Instagram with all the cutesy vid clips... too many changes. watching this, I wanted to look away so I could concentrate better. Actually I walked away into another room and listened while I got something to eat and drink. I really like neurophysiology and brain stuff... I really like Huberman... I prefer short vids, but I'll watch the long Hour+ vids... I like human to human interaction when Huberman discusses with another person... it's like I'm at the table with friends. PEOPLE, faces, and getting this kind of information in a comfortable communication presentation that an average adult can understand.... Yay! Sometimes I slow down the speed when I really like to get a good understanding. I didn't want it too busy... I switch away. I lasted only a few minutes watching and switched away... I hesitated whether to comment or not... I commented as feedback, not to complain. Your product, your choice.... suggest though, make it person to person human, rather than techy style jazz filled in with busy fancy & other shots. Aloha & Mahalo.
