Due to the awkward placement of the thumb sticks on the PlayStation controller I have to say the Xbox design is superior. It doesn’t require you to bend your thumbs unnaturally to play it.
I used Xbox before getting my PS5. Had to buy a Xbox layout controller for it just to do decently. Even then I still prefer the regular Xbox controller

Had a ps5 for a couple days before returning it. Just did not like the controller stick placement after using xbox controllers for years.
