Right On Brother!😊 Thank you for shedding light on a nuance i.dont normallly pay attention to...and then tend to get upset by... Your concise delivery of information is well presented and to the point; in my opinion you have offered a gift easily appreciated. Cheers my friend, -vincent

Its early summer in the Western North Carolina Mountains so 75 80 degree afternoons. Im having the same issue. I can buy 4 at the same time from the same display pack and they all work completely differently. Of course the first one i purchased was the best but after a month the electrode won't ignite it anymore although its making a good blue ⚡it looks to be compared to knew ones anyhow

I agree sir 👍It's madness because in a survival situation you would have to drop it down your shorts for at least 5 minutes the other thing about them is they turn off after a minute of running them I wonder if they would work in the cold if they ran on propane instead of butane ?

Cold not lighting, yeah because of the levels ,inner oxygen & fuel mix. Burp tiny bit. If full. But if half or less fuel, all the way may burp then fill shake fill light.

Yeah, I figured this out when I was 15. Keep them in your pocket. How hard is that?

Depending on how cold it is especially if you're outside and the wind is blowing you might have to use your armpit

I thought I may learn something helpful from this video about the inconsistencies of the TORCH BLUE i didn't😢😭 HOWEVER ! ! ! i did learn something very helpful if its cold outside and your lighter is shivering if you put your hand and the torch in a glove they will both warm up! ! Im serious i can't believe I learned something so helpful today. I also learned on my own because this guy didn't warn me and im now gonna be forced to sue because my hand is above glove temperature and it caused me not to have quality "nut on the ceiling" because i held the sac with my hand that was way too warm for optimal nut on ceiling temp. thanks RUclips's video maker guy. Next time please begin with a warning putting your hand in a glove with a lit torch makes hand to hot for "good nut later". Omg people chill good nut later is just the name of a soup in Japanese cuisine. 🙄chill the nutz people

I've got 3 lighters just like the one in your video. And got 10 others in a draw.
The temperature here right now is 73 degree. And they still don't lite.
Cold doesn't have any affect on a torch lighter. You did something or bought new lighters when you supposedly warmed them up.
    This video is a lie.

Dude, chill out. Every "Fix-it-yourself" torch video is crap and some videos only worked because they had that 1 out of a million torches that had that one stupid UNcommon issues. For example, I saw one video where the guy sprayed the butane straight thru the tip where the flame comes out and explained how the gas lines get clogged. It did work....1 time for me. Nobody has clogged torches unless they keep them in a dirty pocket all day long. This man here is not only a genius, but a hero. I literally JUST watched another dumb video before this one, became so irritated that I broke 5 torches trying to smash-fix it against the ground. Then I watched this video. God blessit they all do work...I just have to jimmy the button while holding a Bic to it now cuz I have anger issues apparently. So I'm that one dude at the party with a Bic, a torch, no free hands, nor the patience to do this retarded ritual just to lite a puff or 2 every other 4 minutes.

I'm literally sitting in my car. It's 12°F. Guess what's not working suddenly? Come on now.
