A shed needs many upgrades to the structure to qualify for a residential dwelling. Check YOUR CITY’s code. These are not advertised as dwelling units. As you make upgrades, you might as well as built the structure your self.
Yes mam you are correct! However we are not in City limits so no permits are required for us. But yes if you are in city limits it is very difficult to do this

Be sure and put exhaust fans in the bathrooms and also a ventahood in the kitchen. I live in a house that is less than 800 sq ft. and it doesn’t have exhaust fan and the bathroom is soaked after I take a shower. I have to use a squeegee in the shower or it takes all day for it to dry. There will be condensation all over the ceiling and running down the walls. It’s horrible. I also don’t have a vent hood in my kitchen, so I have to open windows and get a box fan running when I cook because not only does it make everything smell like what I’m cooking, it heats the house up so quick and I also have my washer and dryer in the kitchen and between the heat from the dryer and the stove, it’s horrible during summer! If you don’t put something in the bathroom where the closet it, the moisture will trap in the clothes and mildew them. I wish I would have been able to get one like y’all. But they had quit selling them. I’m in Oklahoma. Can’t wait to see what y’all’s look like when it’s finished! 😊 Also, I would put in a tankless hot water tank with the instant hot water. If they would have put it in my house, I would have another entire closet for storage! That’s why I wish I had the money to build my own tiny house instead of renting because this one has a closet in each room and that’s it besides a few cabinets in the kitchen.

YEAH, You can get someone to Build one just like them for ABOUT the Same Price. They ( this style ) 16x24 USE TO Be Around $15,000. 16x16 Barn Style the Same... Then Right Before the Scamdemic, they Jumped to $22,000 and/or more... Then Got Rid of them altogether.

There are easy to follow shed plans online. It would be cheaper too.
Also, menards has post and beam (pole barn) kits.

I'm remote and off grid. Still tons of county codes. Its ridiculous. Shed to house conversions aren't allowed.

If you don't extend your cement foundation over the build you might develop mold down the road

The home with this specs which is just the shell of the tuff shed on discount was right around 21k!
