    I was skeptical to click on this video, but after watching through the entire thing I realized this video is really on point, straightforward and gives the information alot of engineers and producers typically overlook. I like that it pushes the ideology of attenuating your notches into more detail which is very good for anyone at any stage whether it's learning it for the first time or as a refresher for anyone who has experience. This explanation was pretty spot on, some might say otherwise but the point of this video wasn't Side Chaining, but the process you take afterwards to help ensure your drums have that tight punch. Bravo brother! P.S. Only one thing i'd like to point out is the use of Dynamic Eq and Mid/Side.

    The kick in solo is great when u add the bass is not good . I think u need to unmask the bass or saidchain

    A lot of tutorials say remove everything on bass below 40 HZ but yours is not, it is much lower.

      I usually go by the ear. There is no right or wrong way in music production 🙌
