  • She's back with a quick little video
    Thank you guys so so so much for being so patient with me!
    I wanted to make something quick and easy that celebrated the winter season while also inspiring people to get back into the kitchen after a stressful holiday. So the Olive Oil Citrus cake was born.
    citrus olive oil cake
    1 ½ cups (188 grams) ap flour
    1 ¼ cups sugar (250 grams) plus 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
    ¼ tsp baking soda
    ¾ teaspoon baking powder
    1 tsp (3 grams) kosher salt
    2 large eggs (100 grams)
    1 egg yolk (20 grams)
    ½ cup (120 grams) whole milk
    ¾ cup (168 grams) olive oil
    1 ½ tablespoons zest of your choice (6 grams)
    ¼ cup fresh citrus juice (60 grams)

      ​​@@asmadebyamanda the cake was absolutely delicious I made it with my girls they absolutely loved it so did my husband and he's not a fan of citrusy cakes! But where I live we produce our own olive oil it's extra strong in flavor and very peppery, so I redused the amount of olive oil and I'm glad I did the flavor of olive oil was still very prominent!❤

    I’m excited to make this! I recently had this for dessert at a restaurant & fell in love with it. Other recipes required semolina flour 😑

      I made it! &&& I can’t stop eating it! So easy & sooo delicious… I couldn’t find my springform pan so I just split it into 2 8” regular pans & baked for 20mins @ 350* 👌🏼👌🏼🤌🏼🍊🍊🍊🍊
