I consider myself only moderately sensitive when watching films/tv....tear up on occasion but not excessively. But when she walked out from that crowd it was like someone punched me in the gut. Even though she put on her "fighting hair" and got up earlier, somehow I didn't see this coming. The most emotional moment I've had watching BSG. The bond we've made with these characters is something special.
I still cant believe how amazing the acting in this series was! Particularily from MM; her protrayel of cancer always makes me cry - thats how my gradfather walked just before he died of cancer. This scene is so - so -so no words!!!
I think it would have been kind of cute if Adama had gotten to her and started helping her walk and then she sort of collapsed in his arms and he would have picked her up and carried her to the end.
Anyone who can say the would stand on the port side after your cancer stricken barely able to walk leader crosses to the starboard side is definitely a cylon.
What a kick in the tits. Have to say it always bothered me that she and Kara didnt get resolution. That little detail of taking one another’s hand at the end had to just be Mary & Katie conscious of it b/c the ball was really dropped by the writers. I know everyone always says they didnt have scenes together much b/c they literally laughed so much it wasted too much production time but ...c’mon, they are both stellar actors. They could have pulled it together if given something to work with. It was a shame that Laura got closure with Lee but not Kara.
This is just another example of why these actors and this show deserve MULTIPLE Emmy awards. What a fabulous and touching scene.
At the end of this, it feels like his family is truly back together.
I love their chimestery. ❤ Best show best actors best writers. ❤
You can look at everyone face we though Adama and Roslin were enemies

and that's why I love this Lady so so much
This is what makes this show so amazing - the wonderful writing and the amazing acting.
So sad. I love how Adama's face is when he sees her. And Kara........ What can I say?
Adama should have kissed Roslin right there in front of everyone. That would be beautiful
i just BURST into TEARS when Laura got the HANGAR deck!!...it was so sad and heartwarming at the same time n_n

How Kara grabbed Laura.
And Bill!!!! Bill & Laura!!!
But he should have kissed her! Really!
Oh GODS. I'm gonna go cry now.

I know she has cancer, but Laura looks like hell. But good moment.

Just about rips your guts out. Loved Kara moving to support her.
@icyclaw123 I totally agree with you. I think Bill should have come up to her and just kissed her with all his might.
Ironic really.
In Independance day, she played a dying woman... wonder if she is being typecast
