Lacuna Coil is such an awesome band, not only musically but also aesthetically. It's good to see a band not exploiting the good looks of their female singer to gain more following. Cristina's beauty lies in her passion and of course her undeniable talent. Can't wait to finally see them live 🤘
I don't see why everyone is saying they copied Evanescence. Just because its a rock/metal band with a female lead doesn't mean that they copied Evanescence or vice versa.
Not strictly true - both Lacuna Coil's first EP and Evanescence's first EP were released in 1998. I've been a fan of both for most of those 20 years and I don't get the "copying thing" either. Karmacode and Shallow Life were a little too commercial for me overall (still enjoyed them though) a bit like The Open Door by Ev.
I love both Evanescence and lacuna. I don't think lacuna is trying to copy Evanescence. They have little bit of similarities because both bands are inspired by the same genres . It's just like saying symphonic metal copying each other which is not true and dumb.
Not only is Cristina Scabbia absolutely gorgeous & sexy... but her voice.... OMG, total eargasm ♡♡♡ love the high notes she hits towards the end. This song is amazing!!!

This song hits on a whole different level. The worst part is.... we were photographers for Eluveitie on one show during their Ategnatos tour, and Lacuna Coil were opening. They all directly smiled at us, Richard even replied to all our ugly faces. And Christina oh my she was the sweetest singer I’ve ever met. But back then we didn’t know them and didn’t give too much attention. You can say we regret it now. We’ll make up for it next time.

I had made the mistake of watching this at 2 a.m and half asleep this morning haha. I was expecting some kind of jump scare at the end. Also at 2:09, is the pocket watch stopped at 1:19?
I think it does, actually. And you can clearly see 1:19 on the guy's chest at 0:35. The deal with that is that Lacuna Coil actually has a song called 1:19, which has some pretty sad lyrics. When asked about it, they never disclosed what it was about, and would only go on to say that 1:19 is a reference to the distance between two places. During the myspace days, way back before Karmacode, I think I even sent Lacuna Coil a message on there (this was back when they were still communicating with their fans through myspace), asking what the meaning behind the song was and they never answered. So, fuck, man, this got me interested in that again. XD
Good music, but I prefer the old Lacuna Coil, especially the Cristina's voice. I miss her voice singing heaven's a lie, swamper, angel's punishment, unspoken, our truth, even trip the darkness. She has a wonderful, particular and sexy voice but in this album it's different. Anyway she's marvellous and I have no words to explain how much I love her

I found out about this band through this album and Im happy I did. Honestly the song is pretty generic/ repetitive since all she does is repeat DELERIUM for most of the song but you know what I actually really really like this song and the repetition could be to illustrate madness, etc (probably looking to deep into it) but I really like the instrumentals. Her singing despite the repetition is also fantastic. She's hitting all those highs. Overall though I don't think the repetition is a negative.
