I am from Spain and after living in the domenican Republic for 5 years I got my experience with Chinese cars there ! I had a jac s2 there and this was a really good car for the low price I paid ! So now here in Spain I bought a new mg zs petrol and I love it ! This car was the same price as a Kia picanto whit no options and I got the full optioned mg zs !
Owned a HS For 2 years , covered 35000k’s trouble free with my only issue a dead battery just short of the two year ownership. I live in regional NSW , road side assist was prompt and replaced the battery under warranty. The MG is clearly the best of the Chinese brands and is as good as my previous Hyundai’s ,
I've had the PHEV version rental while on trip in Germany and I gotta say I was impressed with the EV range and the car felt quite stable overall with only minor software infotainment issues.
I had one of these as a hire car for a few days and while it is not something I would buy, I was quite impressed. I did not realise it was a dual clutch, but I agree with pulling off being a bit tricky to get a smooth pull off. It hesitates on pull off and then whacks your head against the headrest.
Lithium and other deadly minerals are very enviromentaly safe??. Soon those heavy elements in your drinking water. The present E car ranges are very low. The enviroment destroyed by oil tankers, container ships, commercial jets.
What a fantastic little piece of history you have there. Hopefully you get to drive it more than push it, and I'm sure it's a lot of fun when you do! - Kez
Just sold my MG HS 2019 with more than a year left on warranty. It was decent with one or two issues that got quickly fixed by the garage, but I couldn't risk possible sanctions on MG in case China invades Taiwan as MG is owned by SAIC, owned by the CCP.

We have one and so far we love it. Value for money its hard to beat
Wheel adjusts for reach also. I am literally driving a 2022 AWD excite now LOL.
If they had conventional auto transmissions i would buy one.
It’s a very good car, worth it
Anyone know the reason why ac operation is not working during call
Bit thirsty isn't it....
Wheel does tilt and reach not only tilt
Fuel Average ??
Expected to see 'Chinese commie crap' comments BUT people seem pretty civil around here.
Zst is mgs best I think
HUH?!? Why did he say the steering wheel is tilt only? Pull the steering wheel harder towards you and it will move.
That might be the case in UK-spec cars, but the MG HS in Australia lacks reach adjustment, it's tilt only, no matter how hard you pull. - Kez
Great review, I'm obsessed by all things Chinese, my phone, TV, clothes, shoes all from China. Seriously looking into a Chinese car. Thank you.
Lol
@@mharro88 ???

Mines in the workshop, and has been for weeks now. I will never buy nother MG again.
What’s wrong with it mate.
Can you let me know I was thinking of buying one ?
Buy the MG ful EV version. You'll save on fuel, servicing and better for the environment.

I highly recommend to go on the cheap and safe bus 🚌 🚎

I’d rather push my MG Maestro Turbo with abs disc brakes than to get on a MG HS 4x4.
