This will make your macarons look even prettier, cos if you let the surface of the macaron dry with the hole it's gonna bake like that since it rises up from the bottom (the top and sides are dried so the rising will happen at the bottom, which becomes the 'foot' of the macaron). If you don't have a pretty foot on your macaron you didn't rest it enough.
