LARGE SCRAP YARD FIRE - 8 Pumps + 4 WrC + ALP

More than 40 Firefighters tackled a Large Scrap yard fire in Petersfield this week (01/07/24). Approximately 3,000 tones of metal were well alight when HIWFRS crews arrived on scene.
High Volume Pumps from Fordinbridge were mobilised to support the on scene water carriers and appliances. An additional WrC from Surrey FRS was mobilised to assist.
The stop message was received at 12:36 on the 3rd July.
