New Jersey Transit 40th Anniversary Excursion Railfanning (9/30/23) (NJ Transit, MNRR & Amtrak)

New Jersey Transit and the United Railroad Historical Society of New Jersey ran an excursion train to celebrate New Jersey Transit's 40th anniversary . I decided to chase after the two ALP-46's #4636 "PRR" and #4640 "Retro" and the F40PH-2CAT #4120 and #4119 that were assigned for the excursion with the four private cars. The two ALP-46 heritage units ran between New York Penn Station to South Amboy and then swapped engines with the two F40PHs coupled to continue the excursion all the way to Hoboken. The four stations I went to railfan were Newark Penn, Woodbridge, Red Bank and Hoboken Terminal.
