So good to come back to these videos that i once watched as kid and dreamed about all the phones. Nice to finally find your channel again! Even though ive been following AAS for many years.
Great production. I like you editing and creative filming. Well done and keep up the good work. Any chance of doing a follow up after getting your hands on a production version? Your post was so watchable.
Your comments show that you haven't actually used an E90 for any length of time. The E90 has been my only device for a while now and there are VERY few real world problems with the interface. There IS a menu button ('Options'), Esc becomes 'Cancel', Caps is on 'shift' and 'Notes' is only a keypress away.
I end up on two apps design for S60 that ran on my Nokia 9500 (S80) : Internet radio apps and another one. But I couldn't stream any radio link that came with it or that I added... So don't count on it. It's almost impossible.
please please please reply to this!! Does this phone have a calendar that is able to sync with outlook 2007? Does it open word documents? Has it got decent pda functions? (tasks, memo, Bible reader software, etc) And lastly what is the software like compared to windows mobile. I am torn between this or the tytn 2/ v1415. Please help. Thank you
look my friend.... i compare between the E90 and the 9500 or 9300. maybe u have right about the shift button but in the 9500 u have it...SO..what i meen is..to feel that u have a communicator and u have a real "laptop" keyboard..u should have the Esc..the CAPS... the MENU interface..and many other things... any ways.. i am a communicator user from the "9000" 9110 9210 9500 and now i have the E90 from more then month.
yes it syncs with outlook, and i would get e90 for the screen alone, all tytn/htcs have 240*320 display and 65k colours which is ridiculous if you want to browse the net. E90 have 800x352 24-bit,16,7 million color dispay and you can basically browse the full page without scrolling from side to side. As for the software, it has tons of software, how about quake2 on your e90 :>? v1415 dont have any 3g so no HSDPA high speed internet but only slow edge and grps this is a BIG minus. E90 is superior.
i want to get this phone next month, and i'vo got only one question. can i connect normal headphones like in n95? or do i have to use the shitty nokia ones :/
lol how many different fones do u have, i want this fone soooooooooooooooooooooo bad u cant believe it ive been awake 3 nights straight because i cant stop thinking about it, and i dont have the money to buy it, if u dont want it plsssssssssssssssssssssssssssss pls pls pls send it to me in the post lol, if yu are gunna get in contatc wif me and well go from there, thnks heaps
If anyone is interested in a group buy for the NOKIA E90 let me know. I have a connection who has them in stock and it retails for $1,232 but they told me I could recieve a discount on a group buy. I have been waiting for this phone for a while now and just curious if anyone else is interested. They are a US company and looks as though they would be shipped from Las Vegas.
HaHa, never mind. They said it save $60.00 each phone. What a joke. The retail was for $1,243 US. Ouch, still a great phone just a bit on the pricey side.
shame on NOKIA to make the E90.... NO "menu" option...NO "Esc" button....NO "Caps" button...NO "Write Note"....and much much more......... the E90 is a normal NOKIA phone with a communicator body.....

Oh...the good old days...
Yes, I re-reviewed it in a head-to-head with the HTC Advantage. See a later show!
Yes, I've done several other E90 features since then. See the later shows!
Both good. Go with the one for which you prefer the form factor!
Excellent review, and thanks for the how-to afterwards.
Cheers, and it rains in Portland Oregon too much as well.

All good solutions. Depends on your budget and needs.
Yep, all present and correct.
Does the front cam work in taking pictures?

Install the emTube program or Mobitubia. They both let you play RUclips on this phone!
is the nokia E90 recommended for video blogging?
please please please reply to this!!

I am torn between this or the tytn 2/ v1415.
Please help.
Thank you
Jury's still out on this. Until we get a retail pack with proper cables, we won't know. I'd guess that TV out *isn't* supported though.
Steve
Yes, to all the above. Though I haven't got O2007, so I can't guarantee that. Contd by email?
Yep, in emTube or Mobitubia, both free.
E90 OR N95???
Err.... any headphones will do, though you'll need a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter.
will I be able to watch youtube or online T.V. on it? anyone please!!!

Expansys?
Your call. Very different devices, for totally different audiences.
make sure to update the firmware to the latest and you'll be able to use even the 8gb micro sd cards
Getting one in 2 weeks.
Different devices for different people. Try my 3-Lib 'Grid'!
no, raw RUclips isn't possible on ANY current device.
Very good review...Thanks
As much as you care to stick on its microSD card/slot.
Don't think so...
Watch show 41 and find out!
i'd like to have one of these phones
yeah right....
Horses for courses. I like both, but both have weaknesses.
Yes, almost all top-end Nokias have Wi-Fi these days.

Same applications, more or less.

You can expand it's memory but I'd rather buy a E61i or N95 for much cheaper
Oh, E90's miles better. It's not as elegant or stylish though. Depends what you want!!
E90
Hmm.. it didn't make 41, I'll try again in 42!!!
i want to get this phone next month, and i'vo got only one question. can i connect normal headphones like in n95? or do i have to use the shitty nokia ones :/
