- Kalpulli KetzalCoatlicue, an Aztec dance troupe, joined us for TCWRD 2021. The group has entertained audiences and helped build a sense of community in the Minnesota over the past 20 years. Aztec dancing started after Spanish conquistadors invaded the Aztec Empire at Tenochtitlan in 1521. The focus on ancestors is also a ways for Latinos to reconnect with the knowledge that was broken by colonization. Enjoy their performance!

la verdad primero, la cultura de nsotros es milenaria, la cultura de nueva nacio con la llegada de ola de ellos. Lo cual 1521, 1776 son las fechas de sus culturas. Yo no ablo de pais. Ponéis tanto empeño en hablar de buestra raza que casi llega ser ofensivo ,todos ser humano pertenece a una raza pero unas contribuyeron mucho a la humanidad y otras llegaron a ella pq algien pasaba por alli...y entonces supimos de vosotros,esos trajes espetaculares deberían de desfilar todos los años por las calles NY con orgullo el día de la hispanidad pq negar que sois hispanos es daros en vuestra cara..se puede ser las dos o tres o cuatro a saber... a mi me encantan eso trajes son hermosisimos..
La danza esta bien, lo que le quito mucho de lo original y que realmente cautiva es la vestimenta al mezclarlas con blusas y playeras, la verdad demerito mucho.
