Here’s a fun fact about this movie Robert Rodriguez makes his own chocolate…. so that scene where she takes a bite of that big bar chocolate was made by him…. you should definitely see an episode of chef where they go to his house and whoever shows up there they make their own meals mostly pizza but it’s pretty awesome

Roxy and Andrew, a duo more dynamic than Batman and Robin.
Alita Battle Angel incredible movie, top notch world building, live action Anime done right.
As long as I’m Robin! Answer has the better Batman voice.
The girl u thought was Florence Pugh is actually Michelle Rodriguez. I didn’t even know I had to pause and go check. lol.
"How does it look like that?" She went up a cup size or two when the body realligned with her subconscious image of herself.
Love the world building in this. We need a sequel!
This movie came out the same time as Captain Marvel and there was so much negative press that the movie didn't get nearly enough people to go see it in the theaters.
Yea I remember and after that people been saying it’s 10 times better than Captain Marvel 😂
So sad it didn’t get recognition in theaters. I saw it opening weekend and it was pretty packed. I went back 18 more times and after the 3rd viewing the theaters were empty.
Jackie Earl Haley -- Rorshach from Watchmen
The chocolate bar that Alita eats in the movie was made by Robert Rodriguez, who directed the movie.
Glad you guys are finally getting along 😂
super underrated movie, been waiting for the sequel for ever
Favourite Reject Nation COUPLE❤
Hahaha love this
Here’s a fun fact about this movie Robert Rodriguez makes his own chocolate…. so that scene where she takes a bite of that big bar chocolate was made by him…. you should definitely see an episode of chef where they go to his house and whoever shows up there they make their own meals mostly pizza but it’s pretty awesome
Netflix “Chef Show” - thoroughly entertaining streaming food feature content
🕯️JAMES EARL JONES 🕯️ JUST PASSED WAY TODAY... AND WITH ROXY MAKING THAT QUOTE "REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!!" ALMOST BROUGHT A TEAR 😢
Can't believe it's their fifth anniversary and it was released early 2019
This was the first movie I went to alone and I did not regret it. I definitely want a sequel!
Really deserves a sequel ❤
People who have not read the manga don't understand how far means "up there" ( beyond zalem, far beyond ! ) and what it cost her to know who she really is.
I love how Andrew gets to full tears for every movie that is even slightly emotional.
James Cameron should do a sequel to this film because Alita Battle Angel is more fun than Avatar.
57:49 MAN, this scene is such a good EPIC FREAKING SCENE!! It’s a story about social hierarchy and the inability to move up in social class. It literally means death…
59:49. You shouldn’t underestimate Nova.
Best Anime/Manga filming so far love it so much and Jim C. is working on Part II love you man!
Yk, I was thinking of an interesting idea for Alita 💡:
What if she fought Gamora (or Nebula) for in a one-on-one combat battle duel? Who would win??
@@RedPandaGirl002 Not the same universe but alita i think, Gamora isnt strong enough and Nebula maybe but no i think.
@@AndreSchumann-oq7vv Ok
@@RedPandaGirl002 Alita is insanely OP (she was uber nerfed in this movie due to her "amnesia", blocking access to her full panzer kunst capabilities), and while she's near the top in her verse/world, she's still not the top... there's some others that are even more OP than Alita is within their verse/world, but I don't want to spoil anything, so can't say really much more about all of this stuff
Alita is manga/anime, Gamora and Nebula are so completely outclassed by Berserker Alita, it wouldn't even be funny, it would be a slaughter, a massacre...
Alita: Battle Angel 2 is in the works, as confirmed by producer James Cameron in July 2023. The sequel was originally planned to debut in 2023, but as of July 2024, no release date has been announced.
There is the fact that you 2 watch the best movies. It does help considerably. You're on screen banter is also entertaining so that also helps considerably.
I remember the Anima as a teen in the 80's. I was glad they did a Nice job with this.
"I'm Doctor Dyson"
"He made the vacuum" I see what you did there Roxy.
This movie is so f****** badass it is so underrated... Definitely a movie that turned on many people that didn't think they would be turned on 😅
I'm looking for FRANCIS! 🤣
Great reaction guys, love this movie.
There's only ever gonna be one Blade......😂
I imagine Alita's blade clashes with Gamora's blade! 😃😁✊💢
What do you think?
There actually is a sequel in active development, so we will likely get to see more of these characters and this world. Whenever it gets made is anyone's guess, though.
I'm sure others point it out, but this is based on an Anime OVA (1993) which is based on a Manga (1990-2006) Cameron put aside the Alita sequel to do the Avatar series
The comment I was looking for!!! I read all of the series in the late 90's. I remember waiting for a new volume every two months, all of that or the author to change the end and redo the entire series. It's a great story!!
@@ParisianEbonyI'm gonna be honest. Even if it's rushed I prefer the original ending. The rewritten story is just toooo long and I'm not a fan of Motorball...
That’s right. One of my first Anime VHS 📼 back in the day that I watched with my cousins.
Cameron sucks for doing that
Love u guys. Both of u got great chemistry. But I love everyone on the channel.
❤ love this
I remember the first reaction you both did together and it was kind of awkward since you didn't know each other that well. You guys have come such a long way and feels like you've known each other for years now. You are in fact a great duo.
I was so happy with this adaptation i went out and bought the manga right away and it matched up nicely. It did well at the Box Office too so I’m hoping Disney will make another one. Love you guys!
And if Disney do it, let hope they don't put Disney usual flares to it.
It actually didn’t do well at box office that’s the thing na it barely recovered the total cost (budget and marketing) abd it was reported it may even was a loss not a big one though but still a LOSS
I LOVE this movie! Hugo reminds me a lot of that kid who played Jimmy Olsen in the Lois & Clark tv show in the 90's with Dean Cain. I would LOVE to see a Batman Beyond crossover with this! Ever since that first The Mandalorian episode Rodriguez directed, he has been keep giving all types of hints & feeding our hopes of an Alita sequel. I think around the time when Avatar 2 came out, James Cameron & Rodriguez talked at the premiere about an almost guaranteed sequel to this movie. Not just a sequel, which I would LOVE, but I also want to see a prequel.
16:47 That is Derek Mears. He plays Jason in the 2009 Friday the 13th.
This movie was so good when it came out. Does such a fantastic job of adapting the manga. It was a genuine pleasure to see this in theater in 3D it's so beautiful.
Alita and Gamora from _Guardians_ should fight! ✊💢 What do you think??
Casper Van Dien is the cyborg that killed Ido’s daughter.
Michelle Rodriguez is her commander in the flashback
I’m still hoping for a sequel. This was such a great movie
Another movie on my Underrated Peak Movie list. Bullet Train, Ready Player One, Alita Battle Angel, Age Of Ultron, King Arthur 2018, Doctor Sleep, Ready Or Not, And a few others
Such a great and underrated movie!
Alita and Gamora from _Marvel Guardians_ should fight!
No Kevin had no plans yet for blade as of 2019 until Ali walked in for a meeting saying 1 word. Blade
Hunter warrior sounds like Ajax from deadpool
The more Roxy, the better. And Andrushige Gordonaga makes for the perfect pairing. This is my duo!
❤❤❤
DUDE NO WAY I WAS WATCHING THE VOD OF UR BDAY STREAM AND LITERALLY THOUGHT TO MYSELF AN ALITA REACTION WOULD BE SO COOL!!!!!!
This doesn’t look or feel like a Robert Rodrigues movie at all. Watching this on the big screen was awesome, it’s such a bad-ass movie, I love it. It needs a sequel big time.
Oh I know Roxy is gonna love this one. Ive only heard about the manga back when I was younger, and the movie is fun. :) gets a little concoluted but it is still a great time. Im a simple person, I like robots, androids and cyborgs.
You knew right
I've been a fan of alita battle angel manga ( gunnm) since 1998, I even become a professional illustrator because of that manga. the joy I had when I watch this on the big screen is so overwhelming. and the manga is still not yet finished until this day. the third ark called "the mars chronicle" is still on going. great manga guys. and I wish they would make a sequel to this movie.
Nice to see your an Alita fan. So am I! 😃 I think she's an AWESOME and OUTSTANDING fighter! 👏👊💢
She and Gamora (or Nebula too) from _Guardians_ should fight for in a one-on-one combat battle!
What do you think??
@@RedPandaGirl002 thanks,, I think she will be on par with nebula and gamore in fighting capabilities, but if you read the manga's latest chapter, let's just say, spoiler alert, alita has a very strong and enhanced new body, like very enhanced scifi new elements nano tech stuff. so..but gamora and nebula both raised in battle,, still hard to decide who will win..
Im happy that they stuck with the anime look for her vs trying to redesign the look.
And we fans of this are still waitin on the sequel..
This movie was great for me watching as a kid. Loved this movie!
Yk, with Alita being a great and awesome fighter, I'm wondering 🤔... what if she was in a one-on-one combat battle duel for either:
Alita vs. Gamora
or
Alita vs. Nebula
Who would win?
This was such a good movie that surprises me that never got a sequel. It was genuinely ahead of its time
I love Alita battle angel
Just saying. You and Andrew and You and John are the BEST! Obsessed with your videos + the whole of the Reel Rejects crew. Too many hours spent watching the channels vids but I’m not complaining
Ali really looks like Blade in the thumbnail
When this movie was released in theaters it was up against Captain Marvel, I chose this movie over the latter. Never felt more right in my life. I love this movie, I hope it gets a sequel someday. ❤️🤞
God this movie was incredible I remember seeing it because I had nothing better to do on my day off so I went and saw this and loved it
I always found her knee jerk response to the giant robot was the throw hands. Really says everything about who she is as a person.
Roxy such a baddie 😻🥰 i have no clue what this movie is but I’m seated!
You rock 🪨
Foxy Roxy and the flash back at it! Love this movie, I hope they get a second one
32:18 You know him as ajax in deadpool
You mean Francis?
