True. Like they said it’s an extreme lifestyle but you gotta admire the dedication. Also it doesn’t seem like she’s hurting anyone. Hopefully not hurting her own body at the cost of gaining muscle
@@paulamankwah8267 Look, if you bulk hella alot and then cut down each 3 months - 1 year, It's respectable since It's not un-natural. But Taking a fluid to look good just to earn money is the worst way to win money. Yeah you can win money to look good but try it in a more natural way.
I admire the dedication for sure. I don't even think I consume 2,000 calories a day, so I couldn't fathom eating 4k. And after about 30-40 minutes working out, I'm ready to sit down. I could never be this disciplined 😭
My dad was a professional bodybuilder and the money is pretty good , definitely can make a good living from it, for sure worth the hard work. Example Mr. and Ms Olympia is every year and last year in 2021 the top three bodybuilders each won 6 figures and the first place winner got 1.6 mill from the Total event.
That's the winners though. The losers make close to nothing I would assume. That's like saying being a pro athlete is a lucrative career, not everybody makes a whole lot over there.
to be honest, I think being lean is the best and healthiest physique you could get. Not all can get this physique but you can be near to it without actually using steroids.
@@bryce.baldevas wait, what? you need to get steroids to be lean? I thought you need to lose fat and that makes you lean? I think it can be achieved naturally that depends by your genes.
For the record, as far as I'm aware, most states have laws that allow the doctor to provide care without having to report *certain* illegal activities. In the case of PDE's, I'm sure doctors would prioritizing caring for the patient than the law enforcement part. Things they might report include sexual assault or abuse in general. So please, if you're using substances, look for a doc. 😅
You guys should react to this video about body building on a channel called Asian Boss. The video interviews an ex-bodybuilder and he talks about the side effects of it. He talks about how he can't even digest food the same anymore, has erictile dysfunction, no sex drive, hair thinning, etc. It's really informative and eye-opening
There are people here saying it's their life and taking drugs you don't need is fine because they "put in the work" People are insane. We don't cheer for eating disorders or regular drug use, yet it's their body their choice for folks chasing impossible standards being set in bodybuilding because other folks on drugs are setting them.
It might seem extreme to you but I understand it. A lot of athletes do it because they have been trying to chase this impossible goal of being the best at their sport since they were kids and if they gotta risk their health, relationships, time and basically life ti achieving it then they will.
As an actual bodybuilder, you guys got a lot of things right (some things wrong haha) but it's nice you got a lot of things wrong. For me I just like being huge, it's also a form of mental health medication for me, I can focus on myself in the gym without distractions and push my body past its limits.
@6:07. Doctors are there to help you. They won't snitch to the police😂😂. On a more serious note, if you're on any drugs you have to tell your doc. Some medication they give you may react negatively to the drugs you take (and can be fatal). So it is important to tell your doctor EXACTLY what you're taking.
Exactly. Doctors are medical, not the police. A good doc will tell you he wouldn’t advise you to take PED’s, but will help you monitor your blood work and try to limit the negative effects if you’re going to take them anyways
This comment thread made me very happy to read. Good to know there are people out there who really understand that a doctor is there to help you, not snitch on you. Besides, they legally can’t or you can sue the crap out of them
4:26 he’s kinda right. my step dad’s a bodybuilder and got me into the gym about a year ago (i got interested after going to one of his competitions lol). i never found muscular bodies attractive until after i started working out :P
rob to answer your question, pecs on women is the same as a dude, if you have fat, it will cover your muscle even if you have muscle, so with chicks, they can build pecs too but cutting body fat is the only way to reduce breast size and reveal the chest muscles. (because breasts are around 90% fat) so no, pecs dont just replace breasts lol
11:15 building and maintaining muscle is very energy intensive for the body, and so if you have more than you can build naturally, you're basically permanently fatigued
6:06 yes you need to tell your doctor and no its not illegal. You can get tes any time. It's just normally banned in contests of athletic ability for obvious reasons.
This was a dope video 👏🏾 As a competing bodybuilder, some things I've noticed: • Previously, caffeine used to be labeled as a PED in competition (was removed by WADA in 2004)...you wouldn't be able to have coffee and say you were natural! The same is true today of a lot of pre-workout and supplements. • Once you start competing you kinda just look at it as levels to the competition. Many of the professionals have entire teams working with them to ensure they're mitigating as many risks as possible. Not just with supplements/anabolics they might be on, but even food and workouts. A lot of pros are speaking out now bc there's misinformation in the fitness industry and health risks ARE real. 💯
There are healthy ways to do it. Like there are places that take bodybuilders bloodwork but they dont go to jail. Some bodybuilders take very minimal steroids or none at all besides Test boosters. I work at a gym that a Pro bodybuilder owns and he goes to a couple doctors to check blood levels weekly and know when to take lower or high dosages without being at risk
I saw a documentary with an Korean body builder and the thing that stuck out to me was that he lost his intimate desires and doesn't have any kind of feelings or urges for sex and stuff. Scary yo
What's crazy to me is that people will just openly admit to using steroids like it ain't nothing and are looked up to but people who say yea I smoke crack... also illegal and that person is immediately bad. Like they don't both cause health issues. Wild. Imagine if someone was to show their heroin collection
Old school female bodybuilders used to be physically fit women. They were just muscular women, female superheroes were based on them. They weren't fricken He-woman.
rhino you can look similar to that. she just looks mad filled out cuz shes only 5'8 and abusing steroids. if you ate more at spent only 1:30 mins in the gym 5 days a week youd have a good physique. just focus on eating better and eating more since ur naturally skinnier. u got this bro
If you guys want to learn about the usage of PEDs, I'd suggest checking out More Plates More Dates (youtube channel) that explains it well enough. Personally, it sucks that competitions seem to only be won when competitors have used them, but there are apparently right and wrong ways of cycling on and off of them.
