I’ve been looking for practice pants like Ms. Megan is wearing- could you share where these came from? Love the videos! You’re very generous to put these out here~
I'm having a little bit of trouble the difference between a closed left/right turn and the natural and reverse turns. Are the natural and reverse turns more precise and defined footwork versions of the closed left/right turn? Also if you could help explain the difference between a spin turn and a reverse turn, thank you.
Hey. So the left/right turns are a precursor to the reverse and natural turns. Left/right turns are only quarter turns while reverse and natural turns are bigger.
Would you ever use this at a Country bar or is this considered ballroom bronze level? I noticed in your recent Country Waltz video the right turn looked quite different.
The video does not explain why the patterns start "diagonal wall." I have the same problems in my dance classes: the instructors do not explain why the patterns start or go to diagonal wall or center. It is confusing to me as a new dancer. Can someone explain this?
The reason reverse and natural turns face diagonals is because it is not doable to turn around as far as need to go straight down the floor. We can try and cover this topic in another video.

Hey. I think they came from Amazon. I can’t remember which ones I’m sorry. But they have lots of options.

The right turn is a smaller rotating to the natural turn. So the right turn would be more successful in a bar setting.
