I love your channel, Dennis. Been a subscriber for a couple of years now. When I first wake up each day, I grab my coffee, sit at my computer, click on youtube, and look for woodworking videos to watch as I wake up every morning. You should do a regularly streaming early morning show. You could call it "Dennis's Morning Wood"
Everything you make turns out like a piece of art, your craftsmanship is inspiring and I’m very much looking forward to your router lift and spiral bits reviews.

Interchangeable drawers is a must. Most videos have fixed drawers and at later stage this can become a problem. Yours is the most flexible and cheapest option I've seen so far. Also that workbench has options to ad at later stage.
This channel is an inspiration for all the DIY fans around the world. And this is the workbench router table I'll choose as a model to build my new one. Thanks Dennis!
Brilliant! I am looking forward to building this for my daughter who is moving into a new home and asked me to come up with a creative idea for a work bench. I now have it! Thank you!
i'am also going to build this great workbench! i am going to connect the top and frontpanels with a butt joint, to lower the change that the pannels are not exactly ninetie degrees connected, because its easier to make a Right angle wood connection ( for me :-) ). it almost can't go wrong
Imitation is the greatest form of flattery. As soon as I move to my new shop I will be making that same workbench. I just have to locate that beautiful black MDF. Once again, you knocked this build out of the park!
I'm agreeing with Chris Carmichael ...it's so beautiful I'd be in two minds whether I could actually use it, or just charge people entry to marvel at it. I'm in awe...I'd love to make one but I'm not sure mine would look quite like yours Dennis. Love the production, very slick...this is a great channel, just great.
Ik heb inmiddels al je filmpjes bekeken en ook een aantal geteste gereedschappen gekocht. De werkbank is idd een kunststuk. Ga zo door met het testen en uitleggen.
i love way you go about building router table workbench, your workshop is very nice, wow you are a genius.. australia. hey dennis have you seen the lastest festool guiderail cutting station, its big.
Beautiful table. I always enjoy your projects. And thank you for creating China tools I won’t buy until I watch CT or check your site to see your review My friends and I call it Denis’s Bible because we know it’s a honest review and for that we thank you 🙏
Thank you for your work and your ideas. As I get older I am changing more of my woodworking from power tools to hand tools. I still find many of your ideas will help me in my activities. Thanks again and best of luck with your business and your new shop. Richard
Dennis I love the dog holes I've been so leary of adding them to my benches in the past but once my new shop is built I'm going to bite the bullet and build something like this bench, im building 2 actually and they will be on casters and will be parallel work surfaces that can be joined together to make a Mega work surface bench. My tops will be 30"x84" and the outfeed table im thinking I will add the router lift as you did. Definitely a video I'll be coming back too for sure
Dennis, I've watched a LOT of work bench videos, a lot. This is the best by miles! What an excellent example of planning, preparation and execution. Please understand that I will be thoroughly ripping it off for my own use when I get the time to upgrade my own work station.
Awesome video as usual, love the drawers at the end there. They alone, and the idea of a standardised, simple workshop drawer, is easily worth a whole video on its own. It's a very, very good idea and, as you said, very cost efficient as no sliders are involved. Some candle wax on the bottom of the drawers, on the lip that slides, will probably make them very very comfortable to use as well!
This is a pretty solid little workbench. While once you figure out how it comes together, it is physically Easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh by yourself. But the diagrams explaining the steps are really pretty bad. I could not get the handle pins in all the way despite multiple attempts, so I just used a screw I had on hand for the 2nd handle. I could not get the first pin in further or pull it back out. You are supposed to hammer it in, but I had no leverage and the handle is plastic and I did not want to risk breaking it. I will get a lot of use out of the bench because of the convenient size and height. It does fold up nicely for storage. They even explain how to fold it so you don't get pinched...that is important!
I absoltely confirm with Dennis regarding the awesome look of radiant plywood in combination of colored MDF! So @Hooked On Wood ... Well done! ;-) My question is about the thickness you used for both panel. I couldn't found (or missed) any information about it.
I ran into the same issue of the Festool clamps not fitting because my top was too thick. It was easily solved by running a slight chamfer around the underside of each 20mm hole. Find the correct depth and everything works.
I think the grey MDF looks splendid. Is it also robust and resistant enough? Especially near the dogholes, edges and corners I would expect tear out and the like
Hello Dennis, You make great videos. love your design with the black MDF and the plywood. Where do you get your materials? Looking forward to your future videos in your new workshop. Greetings from the Netherlands
I watched several times on this video. It is really wonderful from every perspective. I will build mine based on your plan. The things I am thinking to change maybe that I will use steel legs. Also I may put detachable wheels and level screws on legs. I will make the top as 2 inch thick so the dog holes will be more sturdy.
Great work! The very neat solutions such as the sliding doors for air, cables makes it very complete. One thing that you have that stands out compared to many other benches is the drawer reconfigurability. I try building everything to an extent of making it reconfigurable, if needed. And in a workshop, tools and workflow come and go so this is a perfect place to do so. Great decision! In the obsession of ball bearing sliders, it’s great to see some old and well proved solutions. I will certainly do similar to you.
I found this very interesting. I have spent the last couple of week look at the build of a Roubo bench. The question is what type of bench would be most suited to my workshop. I have come to the conclusion, both! They have there own advantages. Thank you Dennis Bendakt. Love the colours
Hi Dennis. You have inspired me to write my first ever RUclips comment, because i need your help! I have decided to launch my workshop build project using November to purchase all my tools, which i will use to build my own "Dennis workbench". Your workbench build videos are great, but I do not have a workbench to use for building my "Dennis workbench". Can you give me advice as to how to build an absolutely flat and square workbench on my uneven concrete garage floor.
I'm sure it was a wall of Makita behind you last time i watched? Looks like Festool came and knocked on your door. Nice work as always too. I'm planning a bench to house a table saw, mitre saw and router, plus a vice. I have limited space and want to use this method of layering ply. I want to store the mitre saw underneath and then remove four slats of the top surface to reveal a recess to place the saw, leaving it flush. The slats can then fit into the top surface with dogs either side of the mitre saw at a right angle to form fence extensions to create a proper mitre station. Also, the extended fence aligns with the router. I hope..
You are right about the wall. But you still have to watch some videos 😀😀. Having limited space ask for some creativity. In an ideal world everything should be separate. But limited space force you to combine. Your plan sounds great for a small space. All the best building it.
I am really glad you came out with this video. Your first video for the router part used incra. I was very interested in using exactly what you did and then found out that Incra has such a long waiting list. I do have a question for you. If you had a bigger workshop from the beginning, would you have had a different size workbench and if so, what dimensions would you have chosen. Thanks so much
Well, I will get a new and bigger workbench in a few months and for this place I indeed will build a bigger workbench. 200 x 100. But I never had a lot of problems with this workbench size. I first thought I would need a size of 240 x 120 but I think that will become too big. In my new situation I can slide it against another workbench to create this dimension if necessary.
Hey Dennis, as always a Great Video. Unfortunately I do Not find the plans for the drawer box in your site- only those for the frame. What do I do wrong ? Where have you hidden them? :-) Regards Steve
Hey Dennis, how is the new shop coming along? I think we’re all excited to see it. I’m getting a decent space myself come February and would love to see your take on the layout. Great videos and warm regards from Sweden!
@@HookedonWood Hi Dennis, that sounds wonderful - please don't hesitate to keep the camera running while the new shop develops to it's future glory. What a spectacular bench. Love the laminated ply vs. using solid! I’ve looked and looked and I cannot identify the black material that you use for the top. What is it? Do you know the US equivalent?
I would love to make this my new bench. I'm assuming you used full sheets of plywood. Before I buy the plans, could you tell me about how many sheets of plywood it takes to build?
It's not a work bench, it's a piece of art! Outstanding as always Dennis
I absolutely love all of the shows, old ones and new ones
good evening from Greece! I watch your videos and I like them very much! I am paraplegic and I like working with wood! Good luck with your work
The part I am most impressed with is the precision.
Your attention to detail is amazing.
Just found your videos. Excellent, attention to detail is very important to you and that I appreciate.

Great looking workbench and I love your idea for the drawers!
Really liked the drawer solution without the guides. Saves a lot of money and increases available space too.

Thanks Tom and good luck building it. Nice concept
Again another good video. Thanks I have bought a few hundred dollars worth of gear from Bangoo using your link.
Thanks Randall, I hope you are happy with it!
Nice. Really great Work bench with Valchromat.
Affordable is laudable..But very nicely done.
Agree, but radiata is underlaymend plywood and no drawers sliders. Only the black mdf is expansive. 120 euro. So from that view affordable 😀
@@HookedonWood That's a lot for mdf but what's the cost of those screws?
Where does one find this black MDF?
YES! Ive been waiting on this video since you teased about it maybe a couple months ago!
Saludos desde México, gracias por compartir.

Hi Denis this is unbelievable almost scary, too perfect 💪💪💪💪💪
WOW, congrats Dennis, really nice!
What camera and lens are you using?
Your woodworking is so precise, so clinical and great to watch Dennis. Can't wait to see your next video. ❤👍
When overlaynig MDF on 3/4/19mm Plywood Chamfer the bottom side of the 20mm plywood dog holes so your clamps will still work.
yes, but with 36mm top, you have to move a lot.
Great idea with a lot of convenience. thank you for sharing.

very nice work and a very nice workbench. the attention to detail and the accurate execution are impressive! another great video !!
Amazing video Dennis, thank you for sharing!
That is the best work bench I've seen! The draw idea is genius! Thanks for the upload 👍
Loved it. Your editing of your videos look so professionally done. Your right it does look easier to build. Great job as alwaysDennis.
Awsome workbench. Black MDF is a bit expensive in Sweden at 250USD.
Very nice and pretty slick
I love your work. Can you please share where we can get the dog hole template jig you used for making your holes?

Yep, great tip! I tried this but my workbenchtop was to thick for that as well. But for 25-30mm top, I think it works perfectly.
Wow, great project Dennis, excellent work. I look forward to your review of your router lift prior to me purchasing one. Thanks for a great video!
great video.. the top captured my attention, what is that black material you used for the top?
Awesome job.. really looks great and super functional!
