Carrs Lane not Carrs Street! Used to stick my face to the window every day at William Powell's on my way to work, unfortunately not there anymore, the building is still there.....but only just!
I have always wanted a Dickson McNaughton round Action but alas my pockets have never been deep enough. The lever action gun Wow I would be interested to hear what it sells for?
I recently acquired a 1913 JP Sauer 16ga SxS in very nice condition does anyone have any info on this gun I have found very little to nothing on this firearm
@@snowflakemelter1172 For most of these, that’s true. From the period though, even a Colt, Sharps, or Remington still carried a persons name with an address you could ride up to even though there was indeed more mass production to what was a totally hand made build. PS thanks for joining the conversation.

Holts walkround!! ❤Without doubt one of my most looked forward to things on you tube.
As an American that levergun is awesome and steampunk cool. Feed that thing some BP paper or brass cartridges. Oh can I smell it.
I could happily watch this all day!! Another great little film guys. Well done.
I am literally like a child on the night before Christmas when you bring us along for the next Holt's auction. Thanks as always.
Love the back ground
Huge kudos for the video photography and wonderful musical selections. As always it adds so much to the overall experience!
Thank you very much!
I was dying to see a Holt's video for 2024 ❤
What a fascinating video 👍👍👍
That lever action with the exposed workings is a beautiful thing. It wouldn't look out of place in Van Helsing
I've see three others go though auctions over the last 15 years. One of them wasn't functioning, there's a lot of bits to go out of time on them.
Another Great Video 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥

Phil Coggan is one of my favorite engravers. I wish I were rich and could bid on a gun like that one.
I hope you get it ,then you can review it for us 😊
Loving the enthusiasm and the history. As a small time collector it makes me feel much less of a geek!
Simon is the Yoda of information
I would be happy if this episode was at least an hour longer.
Great video. One day I might bump into you round Norfolk! LOL.
I need a Holts auction in Canada
I've a couple of bids in the sealed auction.
One of these days I'll get caught out and win everything I bid on 😂 .

The SL could be a new gun for Ant.

Hi i'm wondering if i should buy a Beretta 687 silver pigeon III game version or a Rizzini artemis light. Please answer my comment thank you
Yes.
as a leftie, that side lever looks tasty!
When the guns brand name was an individual with a street address, not a corporate with an off shore cheap labour factory.
You just had to be minor royalty to afford one.
