You should have to eat the food at the restaurant because packaging it even for a few minutes ruins some of the crispiness or socks it out or makes it different because just think of McDonald's fries if you had them 20 minutes later after they came out of a fryer

I got diagnosed with celiac disease a few years back, so it’s pretty hard for me to eat at a lot of chain establishments. Watching Keith absolutely crush all the fried junk I miss eating has been so cathartic as someone who desperately misses the crunch of terrible bar food.

I’m from Buffalo, NY- “Weck" is short for kummelweck, the name of the roll used in the sandwich. Kummelweck rolls were popular in Germany and brought to Western New York by German bakers. According to legend, a German baker named William Wahr, who owned a bakery in Buffalo, New York, created the beef on weck sandwich in the late 1800s, and now it’s a popular dish here

I'm actually grateful to Keith for getting back to eating the chain establishments' menus. Yeah, restaurant menus were fancy and stuff, but places like this bring the most fun.
The problem is he's done so many already, he's going to have eventually run out, esp. when they are not regional to CA (hence the upcoming tour, I think) lol

1. Thank you for acknowledging us, you are 100% correct, I did say pretty much exactly what you assumed we would say about you eating wings.
2. Beef on Weck is a local specialty sandwich, it’s a thinly shaved roast beef on a kummelweck roll which is a roll with salt and caraway seeds on top. Usually served with horseradish on the sandwich. So, seems like the guys who started bww wanted to do buffalo specialties but the rest of the country wasn’t ready for the weck portion.
Caraway seeds are pretty divisive. Hard to argue with a roast beef sandwich on a roll, otherwise!
Where’s your favorite Weck spot?
Also, don’t you think he should come to our wing festival?
@@Betherick1985 I’d love him to come and do an eat the menu in Buffalo, like he is doing with some other cities! The festival I’ve never been to so I can’t speak to the wing quality. I’d be worried it’s not up to usual standard if he were to go to a bunch of restaurants.

My dad used to be a Quality Assurance Manager at a Tyson plant when we were growing up, and so every tender that wasn’t within the QA parameters (for length, width, under weight or over weight) all got put in a rejects bag, and came home with employees. Because of that, we had chicken tenders *so much* growing up 🤣 to the point that my dad will literally not eat boneless chicken now 🤣🤣🤣

BWW is universally known to not travel well. As much as I love these, this one definitely needed to be done at the restaurant.
As a chain... Buffalo Wild Wings on average has the worst service of any chain to ever exist by far. It's consistently remarkably bad. The hatch chili burger is one of the best burgers I have ever had though.

I screamed when I saw Brian omg eat the menu is more successful then I thought!
I used to be a line cook at BWW... really enjoyed the cooking. Really did not like management or being touched by the other line cooks when they put their hand on my waist to grab something around me. lol. When I went to turn my 2 weeks in they started scheduling me during my classes When I said I couldn't work and forced me to quit that way. I had been part of opening staff for a location and that was fun, we got to try ALL the dishes and drinks before we opened the restaurant and training was super thorough, and we got to meet one of the owners which was kind of cool. Still remember how to make some of the burgers, too!
edit: In case you were curious- most of the bread products (bread, buns, etc) come frozen along with the dips and obviously the fresh meat. Most of the produce is actually fresh and prepped on site, including salads and salsas/pico/etc- although Keith is ultimately correct, no one comes to BWW for the salads. Also, they have no dishwashers, the kitchen has to wash dishes in between everything else. My least favorite part of the job by FAR.
The mango one was the worst for me, too, something about it really coats your mouth and doesn't go away. Weird to do an eat the menu where I feel like I, too, have eaten a lot of the menu.
Just putting this suggestion out there again: Eat the Menu State Fair Edition and start at the Iowa State Fair in the beginning of August. Deep fried butter on a stick, hot beef sundaes, Iowa pork chop on a stick, deep friend Oreos, pickle dawgs, bucket of chocolate chip cookies, there’s endless things both good and just weird to try.

idk about other parts of the country, but in my state A&W is combined in the same building with KFC a lot of the time. Like the combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell 😂

my villain origin story is the buffalo wild wings pretzels. they use to have AMAZING actual soft pretzels and you would get three in an order. then they switched to one huge one and it was still good tasting and then they changed it to pretzel bites and they suck

As a previous employee of buffalo wild wings, I can say the nachos are sold, A LOT, a lot a lot, and I agree. They're weird. They've changed them multiple times. They used to make real nachos, but that was expensive I guess.
They got rid of the meat, smaller portion, and higher price! Total bs!

In Highschool in Columbus Ohio my buddy and me went to the original one in a shopping center. More a bar than anything. They also had a weck sandwich and wild was the hottest sauce they had before blazing.
Hatch green chiles can get incredibly spicy, however, when it's taken to other states (like CA) they typically only have mild

I watched this entire video before realizing that "Buffalo Wild Wings" is not the same as "Wild Wings" in Canada. Wild Wings boasts 101 different wing sauces, many of which are combinations of other wing sauces in varying ratios to make insanely named concoctions such as "Snakebite," "Blue Eyed Blonde," and "Dusty Muckaroo." I was so excited to watch Keith eat 101 sauces haha.
