Just giving you a hard time, the complete turbo setup off jack went on the 55 including exhaust. That's the nice part of all vehical running LS motors

Those specific turbos as a twin setup on a 5.3 suck. 6.0 guys have had ok luck with them but they don't make the power they should in my opinion. I went from those to 69/73's with the .96 backsides and it was night and day difference. Actually the change was so drastic I was convinced something was wrong with the motor with 78's on it but turbos were the only change.
I want a budget friendly trubo kit for my lq9 6.2 gen 4 would these work good for them ?and do you have a link for them ?

The eBay 78/75c I see have .96 Hotside housings, where did you find smaller?
I've seen .96's, .81's and .68's. I just searched "T78 Turbo" in ebay and a bunch of them come up

You're a competent enough fabricator, you should consider tubing the front of jack.
the headers are the same length , The heads are staggered .
Then the driver side would further ahead since that bank is forward. I think the headers are made to be symmetrical if they're down

Have you had a turbo car? The motor has no clue it’s single or twin. Just boost pressure. It can be tuned the same.
I mean pops was doing nitrous big block test hits on street tires out on back roads lol and the intro he runs the truck sideways down the road 500'. I think he be aight lol
God damn, I'm not a virgin to drag racing. I was doing this shit back in the 70s before you were probly born. For our boost we hooked up aviation jet fuel to a switch, made nitrous look sad but motors didn't last long lmfao
What’s the best run on the current single turbo setup ?
I made one run on turbo at 30 psi boost and made it 550ft before waterpump exploded. After that I let off and stopped asap on side and slip showed like a 6.80 in 1/8. Not totally sure on time, sorry I wish I could have at least made the 1/8

I think my long tube headers with the y pipe that looks like it had cats but not really came with the right hardware but it was Chineseium and crap and I had a striped hole or broke stud I had to drill and messed it up I don't remember but I just taped it for some sae size and it was fine

This is the way to go more boost to equal to the weight of the truck being it’s a little heavy it’s going to get a lot faster.. low 6 seconds high 5 will be great for your setup in jack black ❤
What spark plug wires did you run on jack to where they were long enough to route them like that? Been wanting to do up and forward headers on my Ls swapped second Gen camaro but was worried about burning plug wires 24/7. That looks like it’d be just fine! Awesome video as always curious to see how jack will respond with the twin 78/75’s this upcoming season!

I know that those tubular headers are easy, and aesthetically more pleasing... but kind of shocked you didn't just use some flipped manifolds. Plug wire clearance is a lot better.
Either way, it's going to be rad and the old man is going to have a legit rocketship.
