Hey! Really appreciate you subscribing 🙏🏽 I feel this monitor will be perfect for your needs as it actually is more suited for entertainment purposes. The slight curvature makes watching movies and even playing games a lot more fun. The 27 inch screen is also a really nice size without being overly large or small. Of course a 2k monitor will make the visuals a lot clearer. If your thinking of getting a 2k monitor, it’ll probably be any easy $100-$200+ price difference though if you want the the same build quality of this monitor. If you are willing to pay the price, then yeah, a 2k monitor is definitely the better option.
Hey Mike! I’m glad you enjoyed. I’ve used this monitor with my ps4 and it was great. I’m not sure about COD multiplayer, but I’ve played a few games of COD with bots and it was awesome. It should be the same for multiplayer so don’t worry!

Very great review! I returned the screen about an hour after I bought it tho. I think it might have been faulty, but the refresh rate very much sucked.
Great review man! Some may disagree with me but personally I find VA panels to be more natural and look better compared to IPS although they say IPS technically supersedes VA. Glad that this monitor has VA. I use Samsung CF390 24" curved monitor as my daily driver for the past 3 years plus and I am totally happy with the display quality and it's totally pleasing to my eyes. I also bought a Samsung T35F 24" IPS monitor recently to be used as secondary monitor but kinda regret now! Though IPS has more punchy colors yet I don't find it to be pleasing. This is just a matter of personal preference.
Thanks a lot! I recently have been using an IPS panel as a replacement to this CR50 monitor and I too feel that the colours on a VA panel look somewhat better than on IPS ones. I’m not sure though which has a better overall display 🤔
I’ve never used the M27F but taking a brief look at it, the fact that it’s got OnScreen Controls, 2 HDMI ports, and an anti glare seems really nice. It is a flat screen compared to this curved screen though. Also it’s not VESA mount capable. Tough choices. Not sure which one is better 🤷🏽♂️
I’ve tried it with my ps4 and it was nice! The light curve on the screen makes it a little bit more immersive. I’m not a gamer though so I can’t say much more than that 😅
I have a 19 inch looking to add a second monitor. I’m thinking a 27 inch curved that’s probably the way to go versus 32 or 35 which I see a lot of people using. I feel like that’s too large. Thoughts?
I like using a larger monitor because I feel I can multitask more. If you are planning to add a 27inch monitor with your 19 then I would recommend that over the 32 or 35 because that would just be too much. But if you like a massive dual monitor setup and if your desk has space for it, then 32 or 35 could be better.

You can plug your keyboard into a desktop pc or into a laptop (depending on what you are using). You can also plug it into your monitor if the monitor has a USB port (this monitor doesn’t have any). If you need more USB ports, try to get an external USB hub.
Does the monitor have speakers? have mine C27R500FH and once toggling the menu arrows, does display volume control. It is possible to volume up/down or mute, yet the monitor plays no sound after linking it as an audio source. From what got, seems that it does not have, yet why the volume controls on the menu are present?
The screen resolution and colour accuracy is for sure not as good as a MacBook Pro. But for movies, it may still be a good purchase because of the size.
@@CedricEugine tbf, the size is my biggest consideration in buying this, also does the curved design makes it better in terms of movies experience? wdyt? is it better overall to watch here rather than the 13’ macbook pro?(smaller screen but better resolution)

I would say unless you are downsizing from 2 monitors to save space (if u want more workable space on your desk or if you want to have a smaller screen for example), it’s probably not ideal to replace a dual monitor setup for this. If u r looking to replace a dual monitor setup, try buying an ultra wide monitor as it’ll save you space and give you a good amount of screen real estate.

Yeah I think should be able to use it as a smart TV. But you probably need to connect your device using HDMI. I haven’t tried this myself so I’m not a 100% sure.
Yeah! The bezel around the frame of the monitor is completely normal. Some monitors just have more prominent bezels. The CR50 has pretty slim ones though.
If you are talking about sound from speakers, just to let you know there are no external speakers. If you want to hear audio, you need use the monitor with headphones.
only jsut found out i guess this doesn’t have speakers even tho i filtered it to have them so i didn’t have to wear earphones everytime, is there anyway i can get a speaker to plug into it so i don’t have to wear earphones
No I haven't experienced any flickering. There are a few reasons why your screen may flicker. The most common reason is if you have a loose connection but it could also be something else. Hope this helps!
Hey! Are you able to add the monitor to your "cart"? If you are, then you should be able to purchase it. I left an amazon link in the description of my video and I believe it is still available there. If you can't order it, then it may be sold out.
I bought this monitor today but can't get it to recognize my hdmi 1 input. I tried using it through my MacBook Air and xbox but both times it just bounces back and forth from HDMI1 to analog. Anyone have a fix?
The only suggestion I can give u is to go through the monitor settings and adjust the screen brightness. I’ve show how to do that at 2:55 in the video.
I don't play Fortnite on my Macbook anymore. I just tried downloading it to see how it would run. I think it is still possible to download, not too sure though. I think it's just that Fortnite cannot be updated on Mac's anymore.

I love the monitor bro
Awesome!
Good review. I already have a 144hz gaming monitor I just need another one for a good price to have other applications opened while gaming
@Asad J Thanks! This monitor could definitely be a good supplement to your monitor.
@@CedricEugine yeah i just bought and setup the monitor and its amazing
Awesome! 👍🏽
Must be nice to be rich
What do you do without volume???? Just bought it today and thinking of returning cuz theirs no sound..
There are no speakers but you can use headphones for audio.
En mode t’es obliger de jouer avec un casque ?
Is the little black border normal?
Yeah! The bezel around the frame of the monitor is completely normal. Some monitors just have more prominent bezels. The CR50 has pretty slim ones though.
Mines is don’t play noise is that normal
Just got it today for the ps5 and I can't get the sound to work. It's my first monitor so idk if I'm doing something stupid
If you are talking about sound from speakers, just to let you know there are no external speakers. If you want to hear audio, you need use the monitor with headphones.
@@CedricEugine lol yeah that's what's I need then smh. Thank you!
👍🏽Enjoy gaming!
@@CedricEugine could I get a attachment to get more slots and put speakers?
@@skimaskon7666 I’m not sure. I don’t think so though because there is no available port to add an adapter.
only jsut found out i guess this doesn’t have speakers even tho i filtered it to have them so i didn’t have to wear earphones everytime, is there anyway i can get a speaker to plug into it so i don’t have to wear earphones
No, unfortunately I don’t think there is an option to do that as far as I know
Friend sold me his for 50 dollars I’m loving it
That’s awesome!
crosshairs?
Very useful🙂
Does it not have sound? Or any way for it to get sound?
There are no speakers but can use headphones for audio if you want
no has experimentado parpadeos ? como que pantalla se vuelve negra y luego vuelve a la normalidad ?
No I haven't experienced any flickering. There are a few reasons why your screen may flicker. The most common reason is if you have a loose connection but it could also be something else. Hope this helps!
Hey, i just want to order this monitor. It writes avaible but it haves not a termin for delivery.. can it be that they are sold out?
Hey! Are you able to add the monitor to your "cart"? If you are, then you should be able to purchase it. I left an amazon link in the description of my video and I believe it is still available there. If you can't order it, then it may be sold out.
@@CedricEugine i am living in switzerland and i can order but it writes it haves no termin for delivery and this is on every website here
Sorry, I am not sure how to help. I think that means that the seller is unable to deliver the monitor.
@@CedricEugine okay thank you ❤️
i have the same monitor and it is 75 hz idk about your or he didn't change the setting on his mac book to have 75 but yeaaaa
It’s stated as 60hz on Samsung’s website but I was able to adjust it to 72hz on my MacBook.
Can u hear the audio from the monitor
No. You need to connect your headphones.
I just ordered one and it says I is 240 hertz
Nice review, samsung kicks ass
Thanks bro!
Bought this monitor but it has no sound. There's no internal built in speakers?????
Yes there are no inbuilt speakers
I bought this monitor today but can't get it to recognize my hdmi 1 input. I tried using it through my MacBook Air and xbox but both times it just bounces back and forth from HDMI1 to analog. Anyone have a fix?
Not sure 🤷🏽♂️
I haven’t faced that issue with this monitor.
How do you turn on your audio on the monitor, mine doesn’t work.
@Mateo C25 You can’t turn on the monitor’s audio because it doesn’t have any speakers.
what type of power cable do you need because mine did not come with that
It’s a 35 W (WW) T power adapter.

@@CedricEugine can you give me the link it self i dont want to buy the wrong one 😅
I am having a hard time finding it. Not sure whether it is even being sold separately. Sorry about that 🤷🏽♂️
How much hz is it
It’s 60hz
@@CedricEugine ok
What keyboard is that?
Razer Cynosa Chroma
Why is my screen like really bright? I've tried everything and it doesn't fix it
The only suggestion I can give u is to go through the monitor settings and adjust the screen brightness. I’ve show how to do that at 2:55 in the video.
How do u get the sound to work when using a playstation
The monitor has no speakers so you’ll have to use headphones
Very good review!
🙏🏽
What's the resolution on it
1920x1080p
Does this work with ps5?
No clue 🤷🏽♂️
I don’t have a ps5 but I know it works with a ps4
How much refresh rate?
60hz
Aesthetically is it the same as the samsung curved C27R500?
Yup
@@CedricEugine can it be inclined to the front and back?
It can’t be brought to the front or back. But it can be tilted to face up or down.

It’s on Best Buy for $180 right now so I’m gonna get it
Good deal!
do u play fortnite in ur macbook? I thought it was impossible :o
I don't play Fortnite on my Macbook anymore. I just tried downloading it to see how it would run. I think it is still possible to download, not too sure though. I think it's just that Fortnite cannot be updated on Mac's anymore.
