I've always associated the tingly back thing with a more spiritual opening of a chakra. Chakra's can be blocked require a emotional upheaval to unlock it isn't outside the realm of possibility, much like Aang in Avatar.
Its facial hair. King vegeta and nappa had facial hair so i think the having the same type of hair is more for the hair style and not the facial hair. I dont think king vegeta and nappa came out of the womb with facial hair

I don't agree with the last one either, they already retcon'd it in DBZ. Vegeta literally says "when did the transformation to the legendary warrior of the saiyan race get turned into a childs play thing" when Trunks goes super saiyan infront of him for the first time. Kid Trunks most definitely did not have any form of traumatic awakening or super intense training. Goten did it while training with ChiChi and that training wasn't even a hundredth as hard as Gohan training with Goku for his first awakening.
I don't know if the fusion stuff was necessarily a retcon because in DBZ, when vegeto was absorbed by buu and splits, they never explained why. Goku guesses because of buu's unnatural atmosphere which makes zero sense but is never proven. For all we know, the time limit did run out.
Yet .. he split as soon as the barrier was let down. It’s highly convenient and unlikely that his hour ran out just as he put the barrier down. The air In buus body is what separated them. That’s they’re hesitant to do it again after they left. That’s a retcon. Other than that the fusion dance is irrelevant. Also to think he was fighting Buu for an entire hour is crazy.
Elder Kai was a very secretive & goofy character. I can 100% see him telling goku and gohan that potora was permanent, which it is, but not for them only for kais. He wasn’t lying but he didn’t tell them the full truth which is very much like the old kai as a character
For the last one you're forgetting something S-Cells are part of Super Saiyan transformations, yes power and emotion are still needed by some to transform but the tingling feeling is what happens when they concentrate their Ki as that's where the S-Cells are in a Saiyan but not every Saiyan needs that emotional trigger just look at Goten and Trunks, they were born with their cells already active which we believe it's because they were born without tails thus making transformations easier and remember universe 6 Saiyans DON'T have tails so if that is the reason then it stands to reason it would be really easy for U6 Saiyans to transform so it's something that has been in the series since Z

I've had a theory about Saiyan heritage and the proximity to power influencing whether or not one could become a super Saiyan without having to go through what Goku, Vegeta, or trunks went through. Gohan reached super Saiyan 2 through extreme anger, but had no problem at the world tournament having not continued his training after Cell. It's like learning to channel their energy a certain way as opposed to meeting a power threshold
What makes it more confusing about future trunks's hair colour is that the present/child version of trunks still has the original hair colour from DBZ 😅

They could just have it come out that Gt takes place in another of those universes that DID NOT participate in the Tournament of Power. Remember NOT all the universes participated in the ToP. Hell I would even love to have Super Goku and Vegeta come face to face with their Gt counterparts from this other universe.
Thats not how the universes in dragonball work. Different universes have different people, its not like there's a goku in universe 7 and a goku in universe 2. I think you mean timelines. Like future trunks his timeline being different than the main timeline

The potara earrings explanation makes sense to me because it's possible that no mortal has ever used them to fuse. At least not with another mortal

GT is not canon because Kabito Kai split in super, but still exists in GT.
