  • Unveiling The Quiet Revolution of the X-Fifty Nine Supersonic Aircraft. As the curtain of secrecy was drawn back, a sleek and silver bullet emerged from the shadows. After six years of intensive development, NASA and Lockheed Martin have finally unveiled their revolutionary 'quiet' supersonic aircraft, the X-Fifty Nine QueSST. This cutting-edge marvel is poised to shatter the sound barrier and redefine the skies. With its innovative technology, the X-Fifty Nine promises to make supersonic passenger flight a reality. But what groundbreaking features does it bring to the table, and when can we expect to experience the thrill of supersonic travel? Let's explore how NASA Finally Unveiled 'Quiet' X-fifty-nine Supersonic Aircraft..

    The naïvitee of the presentor is incredible:.First : there is no sound barrier : the transition from subsonic flight through trans sonic to supersonic flight is unnoticeable for the pilots, other than slightly different control response.
    The strenght of the shock wave depends on the conic angle of the fuselage. At low angles the sound will not reach the ground, because the speed of sound is increased as the square root of the absolute temperature , the shock wave will simply curve up before reaching the warmer lower altitudes.
    Second : a sufficiently swept back wing remains in subsonic normal flow, not producing any shock wave. That is the whole idea of using swept back wings. And and so on.

    This script sounds like multiple articles patched together with no editing at all. Get a writer who passed high school English.

      Much of that, is generated by the use of a artificial intelligence narrative.

    @bobvines00 28 дней назад +1

    Obviously, the "narrator" is a computer that can't properly pronounce the script -- this is probably the "content-creator's" fault. Also, showing photos of C-130s with a cannon sticking out of the port side has nothing to do with the X-59. The "script" seems to be based on the X-59 Wikipedia article, but this video *does* give a bit more detail than that article does.

    I SO ENJOYED ALL THE GRAPHIC CHARTS EXPLAINING THE BOOM-WHICH I HAVE HEARD‼️SO IF IT DOESNT EXIST
    What were the -VISUAL BOOMS WE WERE SEEING? Just FLOOF FOR VISUAL UNDETSTANDING OR TO LOOK COOL IN MOVIES?
    The X-59 did remind me of a pro type model I built back when of a REAL PLANE
    THAT PROOVED BASED ON THE TIMES TO NOT BE STABLE ENOUGH for flight//
    Model :X-P Stilleto .

    Why UFOs do not create sonic booms when flying fast in our atmosphere?

    If an airliner incorporating these principles is built, where will the passengers sit. Or, will they all lie down in the nose?

    The most famous supersonic jet the SR-71 Blackbird. Does it throw sonic boom that should have been included because I'm thinking that one's quiet? And it's a totally different flattened out pointy thing.

    What about birds? did they make it bird proof?

    • @wlms5293
      @wlms5293 11 дней назад

      They leave their pets at home. Especially birds, that love to poop throughout the cabin. Oh, and “no birds” policy for Space Station was among their first rules. You can easily imagine why.

    Not directly related, but Lockheed could possibly get back into commercial aviation again, profitably. The last great passenger plane they made, though not profitable partly due to Rolls Royce's receivership whoas, was, indeed, a great one in the L10-11 tri-jet. With Boeing's future being questionable it just might be time for a third major producer of passenger jets to rise. Lockheed certainly has more than the needed engineering pedigree. I guess they're spoiled by government contracts with safety net pricing which probably makes the consumer market much less attractive.

    Thats useless that design is a epic disaster waiting to happen that bird is gona shoulder straight into the ground beneath you plate flat balance is completely wrong the geometric shape is not for this application.. shout out from New Zealand
