Brilliant, brilliant vocal. WOW! You have really studied Bono's voice, how he pronounces the lyrics, the intonations. I have listened to 1000s of covers of U2 over the years and you are as close to Bono as anyone will get. Band was also excellent!! FANTASTIC !!!! BRAVO !!!

Seriously, the fact that these guys even do the lesser known but still amazing songs and absolutely nail them this hard is truly amazing. U2 should be inviting them to Dublin. That would be an awesome video to see them meet and even play together. 🙏
Guaranteed there will be people out there saying, "Well, this doesn't LOOK like the band." Close your eyes and tell me this doesn't sound like what this would have sounded like live, back in the day. You can't. U2 themselves can't play it like this NOW, but back then, yes. Fantastic.
Who cares if they don't look like U2, they sound exactly like them on this song (best song on the Joshua Tree CD, by far). Check out the guy in the audience when the lead singer sings "Love, slowly stripped away, Love, has seen its better day", that guy is totally feeling it and is in the groove. U2 never played this live back in the day, it's a difficult song to play but Lemon Chile has a 6 man band and they can pull this off!

He said at 56 he had to try and match the vocals of 26 year old Bono. You know that was a hard thing to do and this singer (and entire band here) have definitely done it.

My comment is 2 years old now and for some reason this song came up in my suggested videos, so I watched it again (I didn't realized I had commented already and I was about to say now what I said 2 years ago). I'd pay to see this show for sure. Though admittedly, I'd like to see the lead singer dress up a bit more. I'm in a band and other than the pants, we have a "no street clothes on stage" rule. I'll have to check out more of this band.

I saw once in the final part of a book, the dates of the tour of The Joshua tree. Everything they played almost relentlessly was impressive. Impossible to include such a song and expect to sing it often. The strength and passion that Bono and the band print to Red hill is unique. It's a tremendous challenge to try to interpret it. I enjoy listening to Lemon, because it is only about the music, not politics, and playing the songs in the best way possible. For some songs, I prefer the Lemon version *over* the original -- and there are very few cover bands I could say that of.
