Mine was AC79192, a black example owned from 1990-1992 by BMW AG in Munich. It was a very good example - it never saw a track day, no rot or welding and all original apart from Eibach springs. It had an expensive glass out repaint in 2002 due to 12 years of scratches, stone chips etc and it still looks nice today. I should have kept it of course, but it bought me a house!
Always wanted an E30 M3...it's a combination of watching them in the Touring Cars on a Saturday afternoon, and on a family holiday to Spain seeing a few parked in the tourist packed streets (tourism obviously pays well!!). If BMW still made cars that looked like this they'd sell bucketloads (maybe they do sell bucketloads now anyway but it's such a shame)
Are you gonna doing a test drive and Review the Mercedes 190E Evolution 2 because is one of my favourite German race car all time. Are you gonna Review the Mercedes 190E on next video also Merry Christmas and Happy New year.
I guess one of the down sides of owning these rare appreciating classic cars is that in some regards they might be too special and too nice to take out and drive? Which makes me think that modified regular M3's with quality parts added could be a better ownership experience given you wouldn't be afraid to actually use and drive them?
Did the DTM cars run 19" wheels? I heard they only went to 18" and that 19" was just a rumor. Can anyone confirm. Also was the rear headrest a factory option or was that added by a previous owner?
Watched all the talking about the tasty evolutionary modifications for only a 60 second test drive at the end. I couldn't even begin to tell what all the fuss is about after such a small drive around the block. Please drive the M3 Evo for longer, with more acceleration, braking and turn in footage.
So basically ALL those upgrades on this beautiful final edition was literally COPIED from the more amazing Mercedes 190e Evolution 2 DTM homologation special. Great vlog👍
Absolutely clueless comment. The engine size changed because the rules changed. In British touring car , the e30 M3 run a 2L engine not a 2.3 or 2.5 because that was the rules. The e30 literally kicked the mercs butt..
You look at the design of this and the E46 CSL in the background , then take a look at today's offerings from BMW. Most recently the new M5........BMW styling is in the toilet.
Never. The BMW was sharper, lighter, more adept and nimble in the track. A true race car adapted for the road, the Merc on the other hand was heavy more luxurious and a road car built and adapted to race. That’s the difference 😎
@@rych7852 actually an Arab friend of mine had a genuine black Evo2 back in the day, 2 other friends had one each and Evo 1 and a regular German spec 2.5 16v. I on the other had a e30 m3 Ceccoto model in Misano red and an Evo model i kept for 22 years. So correction I was around these cars very much than most.
That Merc evo2 is rare as hell and worth a mint. Handling of these DTM cars are precision engineered. Awesome cars.

Yep I know the feeling. Sold the F40 to build a new house and now the F40 would be worth more!
E30 M3 ❤
That is a bloody nice motor
Please do a video on that gorgeous blue Audi RS4. Loved the BMW 👍
That RS4 has an MTM Supercharger kit ;)
Beautiful M3 , wish it was mine 👍

Couldn't agree more!
Why did they never make a UK version? Anyone know?
