- If you are planning a holiday in Mallorca, why visit Alcudia Mallorca? The pros and cons of holidaying here can be found in this video, and what's more, it's not a perfect holiday resort.
I will outline the advantages and disadvantages of holidaying in Alcudia, Mallorca (Majorca). From taking a look jewel in Alcudia's crown - Alcudia Beach - to what the location is like in terms of getting around and what to see and do.
I have been a resident in Mallorca since 2005 and I have even holidayed in the resort so find out what I like about it and the possible downsides of booking a holiday here.

Absolutely love Alcudia! If you're a beach lover it would be hard to find a better one. The sea is so shallow.. great for children. Had many holidays there & normally stay in the port, which I love in the evening. Great information as usual. 😊
Yes, me too, it is a fab place and even for us Palma residents, it feels like a breakaway! Love the vibe here in the summer so much!!! I never take it for granted that it's a 45 min drive from home even though now it feels so far!

Great video Alex. Loads of useful information. Port d'Alcudia was the first place I stayed in Mallorca and while I prefer the quieter resort of Puerto Pollensa, Alcudia has a special place in my heart. Best wishes for 2024, John

Thanks for this great video Alex, we, as a family, have been following you since we arrived back from our October half term Jet 2 holiday to Puerto Pollensa, of which we all fell in love with, staying at the Cabot Hobby Hotel. We are interested in returning, but would like a similar feel as Pollensa and your review of Alcudia seems to fit all tastes but with the option of a more, but not to lively alternative! Thanks for the effort you put in, it truly is a beautiful place.

For the mosquitoes i brought a plug in repeller for the room and sprayed jungle mozzie spray on .. i stayed at the stunning alcudia beach hotel self catering and since its modernisation is stunning gor a 3 star hotel.. 100% recommend this hotel

We went to Santa ponsa in august and loved it, we want to come back to Majorca Easter hols but not sure Where abouts in Majorca and if the weather will be good or not!
The Delfin Azul is our second home, we have everything nearby to whatever we want. awesome.

That has to be the best view of Alcudia on the jetty with the beach and sea in the background, it really does look like the Caribbean, but I guess you know that. I think it’s a great resort for families. I’m sure any Americans looking at this video with absolutely love it. Thanks Alex.

I love alcudia .. lots of shops restuarants and supermarket right on your doorstep
Yes! Whereever you are in the resort the shops and restuarants are a stones through away!
I loved my first experience of Alcudia beach and the old town last year. I definitely hope to return to that end of the island. The beaches are sublime. Thanks for sending us sunshine on a cold New Year’s Day 🤗

Been to playa de muro Alcudia and I loved it because its a nice village which is quiet er than the town, I also went to cala Millor I think its called the year before and did not like it prefer Alcudia

I love Alcudia but in October last year I got some really nasty bites which has made me wary of revisiting. Are there any places in Mallorca with less of a problem? X

Good job Alex. A couple of cons though. No livestream yesterday and no mention of the red flags when jaws is about. As for mozzies, my god they taste good when they land in your soup 😂. Nice suntan you got there today 🌞

That’s a good question! I used to see them on the beaches - but not recently -
The tractors clean the main beaches so not sure how good a job they do.
no matter what we tried the mozzies ate us alive last summer in Alcudia ,so back to can picafort for us again this year

Si us plau, digueu-ho als mallorquins que tenen 6 mesos a l'any per guanyar prou diners per mantenir les seves famílies. Si doneu suport a l'illa i a la gent, segur que "acollireu els visitants" en lloc de referir-vos-hi de mala manera.
