my son has been sick with a cold and cough that just won't go away, but it seems that the weather being all over the place doesn't help either. one tip I have is I always tell my son (who is 3 and autistic) that the next day is school. During the weekdays, not weekends. He goes to the early education program at the public school and he loves it. It has helped him a lot. It also helps him go to bed at a decent time when he knows we get up early for school. I'm a single mom so I am the only one that takes him and picks him up, but when he comes out of school he always greets me with a big smile and say's "hi" with so much excitement.
