Do you have your ranking for the whole season because in the video you only said the numbers at the end and not the same ranking format as usual but if you just wanted to talk about it it’s totally fine
OMG I think I forgot to have the full list graphic. But this is the full ranking from 1-13 1. Episode 10: Up, Up And Away In My Pitful Balloon 2. Episode 9: Grand Chef Auto 3. Episode 7: A Mine is a Terrible Thing to Waste 4. Episode 1: Bigger! Badder! Brutal-er! 5. Episode 8: The Treasure Island of Dr. McLean 6. Episode 6: Runaway Model 7. Episode 11: Eat, Puke, and be Wary 8. Episode 3: Ice Ice Baby 9. Episode 4: Finders Creepers 10. Episode 13: Brain vs Brawn: The Ultimate Showdown 11. Episode 5: Backstabbers Ahoy! 12. Episode 2: Truth or Laser Shark 13. Episode 12: The Enchanted Franken-Forest
Scott was a seriously off putting new villain, like Heather might have exposed Gwen’s crush to the entire campground but Scott is out here exploiting another person’s disability and threatening to expose his DID to his crush. Him getting torn apart by Fang and having his mangled head attached to a robot is just so extra for what’s supposed to be a reality show villain. Do we really need to see the villains get arrested(Duncan and Scarlett), get disappeared(Mal), or get horribly disfigured(Alejandro and Scott) I much prefer exits like Heather’s in island, Courtney’s in action and the ice dancers in RR, at least let them have some dignity. They’re at least supposed to be a person
16:50 Yeah, I'm sure Scott would seem a lot smarter if he went like, "My strategy is to get rid of the biggest threats. Dawn hates me and is going to conspire to eliminate me. I'd better vote for someone who's unathletic or easy to manipulate!"
This season has its moments but exits like B’s and Anne Maria’s left the season feeling pretty anti-climactic, why are Dawn, Lightning and Sam so willing to believe Scott at least Alejandro tried to butter people up
They believed him because B never defended himself. Even though they were sad about voting B, Scott started to become convincing when he said "How can he trust someone who barely talks" making them realize that they don't know everything about B, and do not know if he's truly a good guy or not.
Dawn also got voted off for a good reason as well, since Scott planned to pit the blame onto her, and he had already let his team know that his stuff was stolen too, so there is no reason for them to think it was Scott's doing. Scott acted like he was trying to give Dawn her bag when she came into the cabin to expose Scott sabotaging the challenge, but Scott "accidentally" dropped the bag of stolen items which was her bag and put the blame onto her for stealing their stuff.
Well yeah that’s the explained reason in universe but it only serves to make Dawn, Sam, and B look like morons. Why Scott is never questioned about his involvement in these things is my problem. He repeatedly is the most shady person on the season and mysteriously finds trash bags and says 1 line about how they’re Dawn’s and the entire cast instantly flips to complete idiots.
@@XanderMatthews-nv9zf He wasn't questioned on B's part since B couldn't defend himself that much, and wasn't questioned on the Dawn part since everyone had already known that his shark tooth which he brought up in the challenge was stolen. He also had a surprised face when he accidentally dropped dawn's bag and with everyone's anger on who was stealing their stuff, they wouldn't have been able to be reasonable which Scott knew.
@@XanderMatthews-nv9zf That time when he was about to shoot Sam, he made sure Dawn and Brick weren't paying close attention, which is why he had also smiled since he knew the coast would be cleared. He then tells Sam that "Jo had a lucky shot I guess" and then Dawn disagrees with Scott's statement saying he did it instead, but I do not think she was 100% confident until she went into the confessionals and convinced herself that he did it.
I'll have to say one thing. ROTI is my favourite Total Drama season. And it may be patrialy because of the nostalgia I feel while watching this season, but for me, this season is the most enjoyable one. Maybe that's also because I like most of the cast here. Jo and Scott are my favourite TD characters overall, and they had huge roles in season 4. Established character dynamics were great in most cases, maybe with the exeption of zoey and mike. But I dont dislike this couple, they were just a bit too bland for my liking. If we compared it to gen1 for example, I have many characters that annoyed me, some of them were enjoyable and I didnt care about the rest. I also like all of the episodes. I agree, there were some bullshit moments and stuff, but it didnt make me like those episodes any less. And even the weakest episode of the season for me (episode 8) is still decent and I loved interactions between Jo and Lightning there. And to be fair, the finale of revenge is my favoutire finale in TD franchise. After 3 seasons of doing some kind of race it was a nice change to see some kind of battle as the last challenge. And it was way more fitting for this season to have a finale that required physical contact to win. I am not sure if a race or quiz would work there. But yeah, even as a fan of ROTI, I have to say that its biggest problem is the 13 episode format. It was way too little screentime to establish deeper character arcs. I would love to see how TD could tackle some of the more serious topics, for example Jo's insecurities or Lightning's relationship with his father. We only saw glimpses of the stuff that I mentioned, but it would mean a world to me if it was more developed. Well, we cannot have everything, right? When I was younger, I used to say my fav season was season 3, but after 12 years of watching Total Drama, I can proudly say that I enjoy season 4 the most. Even after seeing its flaws, it's still my comfort season that I still like to rewatch from time to time. It's sad that most of this interesting cast was either never used again or got derailed in all stars. And considering that it's been more than 10 years since we saw them for the last time, we probably won't get anything new from those guys. That is probably the worst part of being a gen 2 fan. edit: i would also like to apologize for my english in advance, i hope I expressed my toughts about my beloved season clearly :)
My Rankings: 13. The Enchanted Franken-Forest 12. The Treasure Island of Dr. McLean 11. Eat, Puke and Be Wary 10. Runaway Model 9. Up Up and Away in My Pitiful Balloon 8. A Mine is a Terrible Thing to Waste 7. Truth Or Lazer Shark 6. Brain vs. Brawn The Ultimate Showdown 5. Ice Ice Baby 4. Backstabbers Ahoy 3. Bigger! Badder! Brutal-er! 2. Extreme Chef Auto 1. Yooo, I got the 'Intentional Matsing' reference. I will add that while Scott throwing challenges isn't great. I kinda wish they didnt make throwing challenges his strategy, but just had him do it as an opportunist. E.g it is super established that Scott does not like B and is super threatened of him, he sees a quick opportunity to get B eliminated-an opportunity that he'd otherwise never get -and he takes it...perhaps only then gets a taste for throwing? Idk, the throwing strat is just dumb at times.
@@iambeanssI agree. I still think he is the 3rd best villain in the entirety of total drama only behind Alejandro and Heather. And I like how he gets Karma every episode by being chased by Fang or getting taken out by Commando Zoey’s trap in his elimination episode. Him getting rid of the smartest player on his team and falsely accusing B in front of his team for melting the ice castle knowing he can’t talk was a good move on his part. And even though he still had to go against tough opponents in the merge, he still tried to get rid of the strongest characters in the season like B and Dawn or switch up his plans using manipulation tactics and his deviousness to make it far in the game. Another thing that I like is how he isn’t as plot armor heavy as Island Heather where she would survive because of luck, Someone else screwing up or win invincibility RANDOMLY just to keep her around. She didn’t even try to hide that fact that she was a terrible person like Scott or Alejandro did and she still made it far. When dawn found out about Scott throwing the boat challenge by shooting sam in the back, he immediately switch plans from blaming Brick for stealing items from both of the teams to piting it on Dawn in front of his whole team the minute both him and Dawn walked into the cabin because he knew that she was on to him. Chris sending Fang with him in his elimination after flinging him into a toilet, much deserved karma for Chris that no one brings up and it was hilarious, was unnecessary karma for him after he already was in a cast and had a toxic marshmallow burn through his leg. I’m surprised he even survived Fang.
@iambeanss Hundred percent agree, it's really just the premeditated nature of it that I don't like. Scott ain't no mastermind and he doesn't need to be. He's more fun when he's playing just plain scrappy and mean.
I recommend you reading Total Drama All Stars Rewrite, Dawn is more focused and it shows the potential of her as a main character, trust me you are gonna love it.
My biggest issue with this season is the obvious bias towards the men. By the merge, there's twice as many men as there are women. I wouldn't be bothered about that, except that the finale is also all-male, AND there's one less female to start with. I mean, couldn't they have swapped Staci's out with one of the guys so at least the gender with more people went home first? Say Lightning. We have a guy who lies all the time to make themselves look good, and a brawny but dumb girl jock. She'd still make a good foil to Jo, who's brains and brawn.
What is the actual ranking of the episodes? There wasn’t a list like with the other 3 seasons, so that was a bit disappointing I understand your criticism of this season, though I personally really enjoyed it a lot.
Honestly I understand she's your favorite character but seriously come on man she wasn't really special she was honestly ain't nothing character, she isn't important she didn't do anything she was just there and was she going to win know what she faded to win absolutely not she doesn't carry she doesn't make revenge of the Island amazing Scott do because he actually had a well-planned strategy even if you hate it it was actually brilliant and the fact that he was switched on the other team made it 10 times better I love Scott he's my boy he is my favorite character and what happened to him honestly piss me off because he did not deserve that I mean he deserved something coming to him but that was just taking it too far I would say that manipulating somebody's disability was messed up but at the same time his idiotic and I'm talking about Mike should have just told Zoe he let himself be a victim
He only got punished so badly because he accidentally set a trap which flung Chris into a toilet, which he deserved after putting contestants on an island with TOXIC WASTE, starving the interns and torturing the contestants. It was hilarious to see get flung into the toilet so fast after announcing that he was going to have the contestants have an actual fun challenge to do and Chef taking over making the challenge painful for everyone. Also, nice profile. I see your a metal saga enjoyer.

ROTI is frustrating because it starts out slow, becomes SO GOOD, and then goes out in a whimper
Exactly my thoughts

I agree! Lightning is the sha-best character in Revenge of the Island, and he managed to win my heart! 😍
Heathers cameo was lowkey my favourite bit of ROTI
What you said about Dawn is how I feel for Damien in the season 2 reboot. He seemed like a revival to Julia but was just voted off instantly.
I'm a Dawn lover I wish she was in All Stars I cry myself to sleep every night when she was coming back❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😢
We really should have a “what if” of if Mike got his DID revealed in the secrets challenge
