Thought I’d take a minute to leave a comment from an owner. Picked up my 2024 RR on August 1st. Like others, watched every review to make this decision. MPG in this video was of concern so sharing real experience. Currently on second tank of fuel, 20.4 average mpg on the daily commute of 70+ miles and combined for the tank is 18.3 mpg. Very impressed with the mpg and expect that to continue. Other truck is a 23 F250 7.3 Tremor that averages mid 13 mpg on the same commute so this is my commuter! The RR is an excellent truck, don’t hesitate to buy if you’re in a similar position.
The new Ranger is a very fine mid sized truck! I got mine here in Brazil with the 3.0 V6 Diesel engine. It has the same torque as the Raptor, but get way better fuel economy, I can get 23 / 24 mpg. Also the off-road capabilities are very good even with the 20 inch dual purpose tires, on a known road I didn´t passed 70 kph in my S10 (Colorado) now with the Ranger I was doing over 100 kph and not feeling anxious like I was out of control. Our Ranger can carry 1.020 kg (2,248 lbs)in the bed and can tow up to 3.100 kg (6,834 lbs)
You’re getting 12.4 on the R !? that’s crazy good, I mean crazy bad , but good lol…. I have a 24 Raptor v6 and average 13mpgs and I also have a Ranger Raptor and we’re averaging 14. We mostly do city driving though.
Sold the full size Tundra and picked up a Ranger Raptor in white. Didn’t need the full size and 12 MPG was not helping either. I know the Ranger isn’t crazy better but it’s fun, agile, and awesome daily driver! I’ve traveled all over the world and mid size is the full size. Great review!
I like it for the capability but I wish it was slightly more squared off with wider flares. When I am ready to move on from my tacoma I will consider this for sure.
Don’t wait, just do it. I have one, such a great truck. Honestly all it needs is aftermarket rims that poke out an inch or so and they look great. I have one and it kinda drives like a sports car…. I also have a 24 F150 Raptor but the Ranger is easier to live with bc of the size difference
Already got my deposit on one. I love my 22 ranger tremor. This is a fantastic truck. Test drove a red one and it was great. So great I almost bought the red one and I hate that color lol. They have a white one coming in and I put a deposit on it. Msrp
I was looking at the Colorado ZR2, and I can't believe I am going to say this, but one of the reasons I passed was the low gas mileage. Amazingly this seems even worse 😂😂
I think something is wrong with that truck if you’re getting 12mph. I don’t drive conservative at all and have never dipped under 17. I hate even talking about mpgs because it’s so application based but 12 is beyond abnormal.
@@37hockeykid I drove it like I would drive it if I owned it… and that was the number I saw so I can only go off that. And even in the face of that I’d buy one in a heartbeat
You definitely have that truck set up wrong for you to get 11 MPG! Before trading in my 6-Inch lifted fully loaded F-150 Lariat, sitting on 35-Inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires with 22"x12" wheels. I normally got 11 MPG around town or my daily 60mi blended driving commute to work. I would get 13 MPG on a good day if it were all highway driving! The guys at TFL Truck just tested the fuel economy on their Ranger Raptor, and recorded 20 MPG, and All Terrain Nation recorded 18 MPG with their Ranger Raptor, so your math isn't mathing here!
My 67 year old wife just got hers 2 months ago. She says it’s the best car or truck she’s ever owned. I rarely get to drive it. When I do get a chance it’s usually because she wants something and is blackmailing me with the opportunity to drive it, but my F150 Raptor R will be arriving next march (2025). Then (to coin an old phrase), “What goes around comes around”.
Thimble size fuel tank is ridiculous but so is its thirst. The V6 doesn’t sound all that great. But it’s a unique vehicle that the market has been crying out for. Well done Ford. Now about a V8…
As an adult you should be fine hearing a swear word… and my channel uploads I mark as not for kids. That’s a setting on the back end, and I make sure I follow it correctly.
I did - and it involves swears to punctuate my excitement and feelings for the truck. Being offended by swears is always a bit funny to me. On one hand, I do understand it. Really, I do. But the other part of me believes that a swear comes from an internal place of true emotion related to the subject at hand. So when I say the truck is f@&king awesome, I mean it from the bottom of my f@&king heart.

Awesome, great to hear those numbers. Also, 13 in the F250 Tremor is also impressive haha!

There is a 3.0 diesel version? Thought it was 2.0
@@rossdanielart there is also a 2.0 for the lesser spec XL and XLS
@hanstubben my bad I thought we were talking about the raptor
Great review sir! That MPG is crazy. I currently get 12.4 in my Raptor R. I got 14.2 on a 1200 mile road trip.

Love, love, love you honesty... Just a dude talking and thinking out loud.
I'm a fan of the Ranger, but I'm keeping my '19 as long as possible. The '24's are even bigger.
Way to check mpg: start with full tank. Reset trip odometer. Drive. Refill until full again. Miles driven ÷ gallons on refill = MPG
Nice haircut!
Thanks I hate it, haha - growing it back
When i drive my RR in normal mode im getting 17.9 mpg
I was looking at the Colorado ZR2, and I can't believe I am going to say this, but one of the reasons I passed was the low gas mileage. Amazingly this seems even worse 😂😂
Get the Ranger Raptor
I have one and we absolutely love it. They should also hold value better as most Raptors do.

Set up wrong? I literally get in and drive it as Ford delivered it. And then look at the trip computer.
Those are the numbers I saw

Now about a V8…
im sorry but this truck just SCREAMS "this is my wife's truck"...
Had a Ranger when it was a Mazda B2000
You had a Courier.
It isn't as good as Lexus Nori Green but the Ford Shelter Green Metailic would look good on that thing. #needsadiesel
Is that the one available on the Bronco? If so I agree
For sure i hate parking this truck fks
The interior seems junkie
The orange interior makes it look cheap
No reason for the foul language. Public commentary should be clean enough for all ages.
All the new swears and lingo I learned from kids.

This guy gets a thumbs down and never coming back!
I’m getting 15mpg in mixed driving over the last 2 months. You gotta reset the computer dumbazs! And the 10 speed is awesome so STFU about it.
I did reset the computer... but thanks for your advice and fun spelling attempt on the word "dumbass". The 10-spd sucks.
