My wife and I chose this song as our wedding song. It just made perfect sense for us. Seeing her walking down the isle with this song playing is a memory that I will never forget. We're going on 14 years ... and it's been an amazing story so far :)
Some of you people are such trolls. For God's sake, didn't your parents teach you better, or are you just angry at them? Bunch of no-good internet hoodlums. This was a GREAT song. Some of you stupid shits out there wouldn't understand.
my parents basically raised my sister and i like it was the 80s even though it was really early 2000. I remember watching this movie over and over again
+Jeff DesjarlaisJ I actually wasn't too sad when Artex died. And I also wasn't that scared of the wolf, but then again I first watched this when I was 8.
Same here! Its been 10 years, about, since I've even thought of it or watched it. Today i was watching, Death Note, and i just started thinking of it. I think im about to watch that hoe.
I LIKE THE THEME SONG. This song is for people born in the 70s. I'm a late 80s kid. Watched sesame street, wwf attitude era, tmnt, full house, married with children, fresh prince of bel air, and tales from the crypt. Those were my tv shows.
I'm 20 years old now and I saw this movie when I was 3 years old, and still remember it. As I watched it again few years ago, it touched again my heart, so as this song. Ït's a pity, that today they just offer superficial films, which shall blunt the humanity. Those were the days, as heart touching movies were offered, not such movies as today. I love the never ending story.
I have an awesome childhood(I'm 14) cause my mom is big on 80's movies and I watched recently, but I had to come here from Robot Unicorn Attack 2 cause my friend's mom was playing it and it bugged me to look it up. But I love. So I don't mind to have it stuck in my head.
I was born in 1978 and was roughly 6 when this film was released and I'll argue there will never be a better childhood fantasy film produced. This film is legendary and is underscored by many. Such a great film score soundtrack. Everything about is amazing for its time and I will always be thankful for Germany's brialliance behind this cinema gem!!
Beautiful, usually I've the opinion that lyrics destroy beautiful music, but here we have one of this little exceptions, the song & music make one of the most beautiful music movie themes of all time. I didn't really watch the movies and still this music touches my heart. Pure magic :)
In my opinion, this is one of the best children's movies ever created... Mostly because those made nowadays can't hold a candle to it, but that's beside the point :P This movie is several levels of epic, and so is this song. Thanks for uploading!
I was a little too young (and a little scared) when the movie was released in theaters. A little later on I did watch it on VHS and loved it. Some of the stuff still freaked me out a little, though.
I was born in 1986 and it is true Abdul the 80's were awesome and well known for a lot of great movies, cartoons and shows and I wish I could collect them all. The cartoons of today just aren't good enough, if I could go back in time and live my childhood once more I would. We often heard our parents say "Be thankful your a kid because you'll grow up faster than you think". I wish I listened then because now I know it is so true.
This was one of my favorite movies when I were a kid :P I learned the lyrics to the song by watching this movie soo many times, and I still love the song and the movie
Aww the 80's, sometimes I wish i was born early enough to experience the 80's. I want to say I've seen this movie all the way through, but I can't say that. It's been so long since I saw it and I've been thinking about watching it. I love this song! I only remember bits and pieces of it =[
WOAH!! My mum always used to sing this to me, and I had no idea what she was going on about until I saw the movie... Great movie... To bad it ended T.T
I love this film, and this song! I remember the sequel being on a while ago, and me asking my friend if she'd seen it, and she didn't know what I was on about! I was genuinely shocked by that...the thought of this film being forgotten is too horrible to dwell on.
I'm still searching for the version where he's seen 'snorting'. Aside from that, what a great tune. Beautiful instrumental and their voices are great (especially hers) Like to hear this on my death bed. Not being morbid, just enjoy the serenity.
I watched this the other day, I used to be afraid of it when I was a little girl - especially the turtle and the black wolf. It still freaked me the eff out and I'm twenty years old now.
I think if they had waited a few years to make this movie, it could have contended with the HP films. its an unforgettable classic with a kick-ass song
It's been so long since i watched this movie! Have to watch it again. I Remember i had a Crush on The Childlike Empress. She's so cute... Who didnt?xD Great song, so many memorys i tell you! Nostalgia!
It's "Tales from the Neverending Story", a TV series with 4 episodes US version and 13 episodes UK version :) it's a real fun shoe and can be found on youtube

This song is the ultimate ear worm! I'll find myself humming it out of nowhere even if I haven't seen or thought about the movie in forever.

I think you misunderstood. I wasn't complaining. :D

My son was six years old when this movie premiered---and has shown it to his own children. A timeless classic.

Funny, I wasn't born in the 80s yet hearing this song makes feel like I lived the 80s.
every time I hear this theme, I imagine myself riding on Falcor through the beautiful skys, having a great magical adventure.
Waves at the people listening this morning after the Stranger Things season 3 binge.
Waves back
*grins while waving back*
That’s exactly what I’m doing
Amazing film. If only it had good sequels. I mean, it's a NEVER ENDING STORY. Think of the possibilities!

Lili De la Vallée The Neverending Story was one of my very favorite movies ever growing up :)
The Neverending Story was my gateway drug to loving Lord of the Rings and The Elder Scrolls.

Then yours is an enchanted life... I am envious, my friend.

One song that makes me feel so old...but so happy to hear it.
Even after my 31 years on this earth...
I'm 15 and remember watching this when I was younger! It'll never get old

Takes me back into 80s cartoons with great theme songs

Definitely loved the movie when I was a kid. The worse thing they did was make a couple of sequels for it.
Fantastic movie. Sad most people don't know about this film. I subbed to a channel that said they'd cover this film. Sounds cool.

I absolutely love this
PROUD to be born in 1990 and saw all kind of these film!
Saw this movie for the first time in West Germany when it came out
Although I have seen this movie only twice and it having been many years since I last saw it, it has still left an incredible impact on me.

A classical Family film , just so many memories of watching it with my son .
Planning to watch the movie after German class while I do English homework. This song has been stuck in my head since I was little :)
The melody feels like it would fit perfectly with one of those old school shoujo animes. lol I love it
+Raven Cross If Only This Was An Anime
I'd you haven't watched the Neverending Story, you haven't lived
sophie30102 Try reading the book. The movie doesn't do the real story justice.
@@sfsebastian Indeed, the author didn't even want to have his name associated with the movie.
You have a good soul:) I'm 30 and still cry to this movie.

I Will Always Love The Never Ending Story Movies
I watched this the other day, I used to be afraid of it when I was a little girl - especially the turtle and the black wolf.
It still freaked me the eff out and I'm twenty years old now.

MY DAUGHTER JEAN, WHO HAD WATCHED THIS MOVIE FOR 20 TIMES WHEN SHE WAS A 3 YO GIRL.
Limahl - Voice.
Giorgio Moroder - Music.
Moroder: the genius behind the scrore of SCARFACE, the brain behind Donna Summer...
The only thing about this movie that scared me was the Gmork. Had nightmares of that thing growling and staring me down on the ledge of my old house.
@dayzimlich I just turned up the volume when I read your comment.
Music from the 80s was so great.
watched this movie yesterday and I remember how good it was and even though it does show its age it has age pretty well.
I love this song.
The best Wolfgang Peterson movie. EVER.
Ditto. The memories are just flooding in. *sighs* Good times.
