Sensei Wu is missing in the new Ninjago Dragons Rising show - did he pass his powers onto the new Ninja Arin? Развлечения
What do you guys think? Is Sensei Wu still out there?
I don’t think he’s there because we really did see his ghost huh (but at the same time that could be the first spinjitzu master confused because of the merge and looking over the land he created) idk it’s just a theory
A game theory!
But arent wu and arin in the destiny’s bounty Lego set.
@@user-kc6uw1je3q the sets Are uncanon
No, sensei wu died in 2016, master wu on the other hand, is thriving 😂😂😂😂
This is the first time I am hearing this theory and I don't hate it.
Very interesting. 🤔
Hope not
@evan_boiwhy
@evan_boiyea y
I'd hate for them to replace Wu he was a big part of the show, you can't just replace him with some kid.
@evan_boithe only problem is that as far as we know Arin isn't related to Wu so he wouldan't inherate his powers
Also, when the merge happened, sensei wu said, “my nephew, I hope you’ll be a better sensei than I ever *was* “

Great theory’s especially since Arin basically (created) a new spinjitzu power by being able to throw it

@user-hp8xo6mq4i the movie isn't Canon, its its on universe
And the movie is very bad 👎👎
Creation, Destruction, Energy and Golden Power are likely so powerful that the only way to inherit them is from an ancestor, unlike how Euphrasia became the new Master of Wind
Yeah I agree I’m pretty those powers can only be inherited through family, not a random person. Plus it doesn’t really make any sense
Well it’s likely that you can pass on elemental powers to a thing or person of your choosing like how Zane was given his elemental power
@blue_lightning33 If the person's family is all dead or nonexistent then the elemental powers search for others people to give their abilities
@@PurpleNova678if that’s true how did Zane and Europhrasia get their powers then.
@@PurpleNova678incorrect if you don't have children then you can pass your powers on to anything and anyone at will and if you never do this when you die the element will find a new host by itself this was explained by a creator of the show later on in the series
That’s a smart theory get MatPat on this case (nice short keep up the grind)
IMO I don’t agree because he could only use creation because of his dragon blood, and relation to the FSM. I don’t think this power could be passed down, unless I missed something
Matpat quit RUclips

But lloyd is the new Spinjitzu master and he is the grandson of the first Spinjitzu master. His power only got green cuz he gave the other ninjas their elemental power.so this theory doesnt make any sense.
I like this theory a lot. But, I doubt that Arin would get his power, unless Wu didn't chose anyone to inherit his powers.
Yeah I don’t know who he would pick though
I mean, sometimes it doesn't have to be specifically passed down like Euphrasia
@@LilToeNailious i already mentioned that
@@LilToeNailious he said that
Yea I agree, The First Spinjitzu Master holds the power of creation and The Overlord has destruction, those two powers has been passed down to Wu and Garmadon, The FSM's 2 sons, and in my opinion I think the powers "Creation" and "Destruction" can only be passed down to descendents of The First Spinjitzu Master because yk, he is the one who created ninjago.
We know from previous instances that when an elemental master dies, it’s handed over to the next of kin or the element itself pics it’s new host. If the power of creation or Wu wanted to pic a new host, it would probably an established character like Lloyd. We also know it can’t just be any person, not even an existing elemental master. Because the creators stated if Skylar attempted to use either Wu or Garmadon’s powers, she would probably die. So the power of creation would most likely go to someone of the First Spinjitzu Master’s bloodline.
it was stated? skylar did use garmadons powers before.
@@shadow.dragon.decoded.2579and she almost died
There's nobody living in the first spinjitzu master bloodline that we know of besides Lloyd and Garmadon.
@@BloodmoonEDITZI know that Mistake was un oni, but how can misako be so old????
@@totitokatta123 I just realized that when you mentioned it
I think Wu is meditating like he did in season 1. And so he can communicate/go to the ninja's. I even think that he brought Cole to him, to be honest I think that like Garmadon or Skylor is with him. But that's just my opinion.
I really like the idea of him and Garmadon just hanging around.
They finally remembered wu weird powers that we never saw after season 1
he might be with faith in the first realm
@@Lloyd1728 ye that can also be true
Honestly, my theory is that Master Wu called Cole to go get Jay from the place in the Realm Of Madness.
I think Wu is communicating from some place
Maybe he is in the dragon realm because they crossed over
I'm pretty creation is an "Elemental Essence" like Garmadon's destruction. Like it seemed that all the Oni could use destruction and maybe every dragon can use creation. But idk how canon the term "Elemental Essence" and its lore really is anyway.
Yeah, creation, destruction, darkness, golden power, and energy are all elemental essences
@@OfficialFallenPhoenix I think energy is being retconned though...since one of the source dragons claims it as coming from them
which can't happen if its an essence
Meanwhile wu in the first realm chilling with faith and firstbourne:wtf what kind of drugs is bro in
You know the first realm also connected, right?
@@BloodmoonEDITZ then he's chilling in the area the first realm now inhabits in the merged realms
Yeah i don't think he's there
Honestly, Sensei Wu being dead explains why he seems to be a ghost now
Plus it explains all of Arin's unique powers
But hey, that's just a theory, a ninjago theory...
MatPat: Write that down write that down!
There is apparently a book that says Arin's goal is to unlock his elemental power i don't know if it's real or not
That could lead to a cool mentor thing between Lloyd teaching Arin about creation since Lloyd used golden power for a time as the golden ninja
I went for an 1.5 hrs hike where my 10 year old told me the entire new series. Haven't a clue still but he was happy
It’s a good show. You should give it a try
So Wu gave Arin his powers? Interesting
he didn't, since its physically not possible as Arin isn't a dragon or part dragon
@@xxmension04xx47 so what about Morro and Euphrasia
@@kaimasteroffiya wind is an elemental power
Creation is an elemental essence
@@xxmension04xx47 well then there’s a point but counterpoint what if passing on an elemental essence like passing on an elemental power
The idea of Arin being the elemental master of spinjitsu raises alot of questions. Like what does that mean for Lloyd's status as "the ultimate spinjitsu master" and is Arin now destined to fight the overlord? Did the first spinjitsu master create the element of spinjitsu, we do now know elemental powers come from dragons and he was half dragon?
We've known elemental powers came from dragons since season 8
I hope they haven’t killed off Wu… idk why I just have a passion for him, honestly my fav character
My theory is that Arin is actually the reincarnation of the First Master, which is how he taught himself spinjitzu
Oooooo, thats a good one
Well, this theory is cool but i made a theory myself: sora may be 5% Dragon as she has a very unknown power, not even master wu knows it, and her power is given by Riyu (a dragon) and Firstbourne could be a ancestor of Riyu + we have the source dragons as Lloyd meets them in one of his dreams/vision and maybe Sora has a power made in the merge because its pink (if you look at the outline of the merge portals you can see that they are pink) and that explains (and it could be impossible for a dragon as young as riyu to give powers to a human). But its just that maybe sora has a different power of creation (but with tech) because she can create tech (and i mean a lot of it). And thats all. Correct me if im wrong or i forgot something, etc.
Plot twist: Arun could be related to Master wu
How???
Great theory could be true
I think it would be better if he can no powers honestly. He has been hard on himself. So him realizing how much potential he has even without powers would be an amazing character arc.
Wu ain't an Elemental Master (confirmed by show writer), he can't pass down his powers, and Golden Power is not creation, so Wu only inherited his creation part of his powers😭
Honestly, I think its better if Arin doesn't have a power. It makes him more unique as he relies solely on his Spinjitzu powers. Plus it pushes the message that you don't need powers to be a hero.
spinjitzu is a power though?
If anyone were to inherit the dragon power of creation wouldn’t it be Lloyd since he’s part oni and dragon
He was able to use the oni power of destruction but tapping into his rage and anger and he has tapped into the powers of creation when he had the golden power which I’d argue is the power of his dragon side also Lloyd’s elemental power of energy is him using the power of creation in a lower level way, him essentially using the raw energy of the power of creation without the ability to warp that energy into anything other than the energised plasma he uses in combat
If arin were to inherit anything from Wu I believe it would be strictly based in spinjitzu and not inherit the power of creation itself
My headcanon: Not only did he inherit his abilities but also a sort of spiritual muscle memory but since Wu's spirit is still not an merged with him in a Avatar and Raava thing then Arin only has glimpses of what a master of spinjitsu can do hence why he was able to learn spinjitsu without proper training, he's got the power and memory (both mental and muscular) to use spinjitsu (think of it like how when Ben transforms into Grey Matter and he says or does something beyond 10 year old Ben's current intelligence and even Ben acknowledges that he doesn't even know how he knows what he knows and admitted that he wouldn't get it either if it weren't for him being Grey Matter.
I've never heard this theory before. It's really interesting. It's easy to forget, buy Wu did have an elemental power and the elements got a grand reshuffle thanks to the merge, like with wind. Maybe when Arin discovers his full potential he is the one destined to create a new realm or to perfect the merged one.
I thought Aaron has the elemental ability of Spinjitzu
“With out any training” Arin actually did train. He self taught spinjitzu somehow through mimicking the Ninja moves and he has enough strength carry people and to hold himself up when using the graple gun
It connects everything from wu’s absence to arins yellow powers to wu’s spirit
Crazy,CRAZY theory:
Since Arin and Sora respectively have a lot of symbolism for oni's and dragons,it would be very interesting to see Arin with Oni-like traits and creation powers as a villain and Sora with Dragon-like traits and destruction powers as Arin's counterpart and probably only way to defeat him
I’m old school and only really remember the early seasons of Ninjago, but the logic makes sense.
I have a feeling that the power of creation is going to be the hardest power to master
I don't really think so. They're trying to push this narrative that Arin doesn't need powers to be a hero. And honestly, if Wu were to die, they should have done that in Crystalized. I know Tommy didn't want a dark ending but still.
This theory made sense to me the most because Arin was just a normal kid that can do Spinjitzu without teaching is kinda strange
It's sad to think wu could be deaf but I definitely love this theory and I think this is where they might go
I would be sad to see him go, but I think it'd be really cool to have him inherit his powers of creation. Side note, love that their "elements" aren't all basic, there's speed, metal, amber, and etc. It adds a lot to the world and powers.
Maybe sensei wu is still out there but knew what will happen so gave most of his power away to arin
I don't think so. Creation isn't an element, so it can't be inherited by random people like Wind. Wu uses Creation because of his dragon blood, and so could Lloyd since he used Destruction in Crystalized because of his oni blood. Creation is something accessible only by who's got dragon blood or by the Elemental Powers of Earth, Fire, Ice and Lightning combined in harmony.
The Ghost is the first Spin jitsu master keeping an eye on his grandson
Bro the camman18 background music 💀
Wu got isekai’d
Title:
That time I got reincarnated as a teenage boy with poor hygiene
I can see this, seeing as the merge combined the 16 realms, meaning it's possible Arin got his powers and just hasn't unlocked them
I tink that master wu is casting himself for a nother dimension
Wu's Power is creation while arins Power is something like spin
The new ninjago set leaks flipped u over dude, I’m still gonna think this too so I can savour the moment that wu comes back
I think if Sensei Wu does end up being dead it would make a lot of sense and be great development for the other characters, especially Lloyd. That being said I would have an extremely strong negative emotional reaction to him dying
Or perhaps the annoying element of Aaron is a branch of the Master element, and who knows!!
That could be a fun concept that lego might explore in the future
He does have a point since Wu never had any children that means it would pass on to an completely random being
But there is also the fact that Lloyd exists and he would’ve inherited it in his bloodline
And even if he's the Master of Energy, Ninjago never specified a rule saying that no one can have 2 Elements at once
Only time will tell anything is possible.
I don’t think he’s dead as elemental powers are usually passed on to relatives as in family members Cole got his from he’s mother Kai from his father
nya from her mother Jay unknown Zane the elemental master of ice who is said to be he’s grandfather and so on Aron’s parents don’t seem to have elemental powers so it’s unlikely to have him inherit wus power I think master wu is alive but in a very far away place and he’s using his powers to create a spirt like body to communicate with the ninja
That's impossible, because "creation" is not at element, but an "essence". Like destruction it can be used by many individuals. Hundreds of Oni use destruction and hundreds of dragons use creation. It doesn't matter if one of them dies.
I was wondering about Wu being dead too. Before Dragons Rising released and Lego was uploading teasers and that to their RUclips channel they uploaded one of Lloyd bringing Wu the scrolls, and I remember thinking that clip felt like it was a send off for Wu because of the way he was talking in it. The way he talked about hoping Lloyd does a better job than he did felt too much like a send off, its like they were giving him his final scene or something. And the fact that Wu's spirit is just watching over the Ninja in the Monastery at the end of part 2 made ths feel even more like a send off. I do think it'd be weird though if Arin had Wu's element. The thought of a new character having Wu's power is strange.
And he "created" a new form of spinjicu.
I just hope its real, and then lloyd would adopt him. Perfect family
Well this would make sense if you think about it, because several of the original Elemental Masters appear to have passed their powers onto others. Very interesting theory!!
I dunno, my only thing is I don't think this is possible. Lloyd only has his powers because he's the son of the first child of the FSM. He is part oni, and dragon. A human hybrid, just like Wu, and his father. It's an inheritable thing, and that's what sort of makes it special. I think you need to have those things in your blood, to be powerful enough to retain those powers, and also, it makes you live a lot longer than everyone else. I'm not a fan of it being passed on to someone else randomly, and since Arin is younger than Lloyd, that just makes it even more weird for me. Arin is not Oni, or Dragon. He's just a person, and he cannot have an extended lifespan as a result. Also, it would be a little bit weird to me if Wu really was dead, since he's appeared in at least one of the sets. I know the sets can be sometimes not canon, but it would still be odd to me.
I like to think that Arin is the master of spinjitzu because he taught himself spinjizu and he can transfer it to objects
There is also a theory that Sora and Arin represent Oni and dragons, Sora represents dragons and Arin represents Oni
cool idea, sad that it can't work
elemental powers go to new users if the current user dies and has no descendants
but essences like creation and destruction belong to an entire species, dragons & oni respectively...and thus are not
unless Arin is descended from a dragon, he can't inherit nor use creation
If this happens I riot. Arin is okay I guess, but sensei wu can never be beat.
I personally hope he’s not dead but it does make sense having a new show and Lloyd step up as the teacher
I think this is a very thoughtful theory. But also, none of Arin's parents had powers. If Wu died and gave away his powers, I should have been given to Lloyd or his son ( if he married Harimui which is not likely. )
I do think Arin would make an awsome master pf creation and think of how him having the power of the Ninjas master and how that would affect there dynamic and there feelings towards Arin
this is a little random, but honestly I think since wu is considered the dragon an garmadon the oni, he might be been captured to be drained, but not by the city. I think that Ras's master may have wu trapped, and his soul manage to escape and is trying to lead the ninja to him, but while he is trapped his elemental powers could have been fully drained from him, but not fully gone, leading his power to find a new host, A.K.A Arin
Arin the true master of spinjutsu
That one snake in the background looks like frieza
I don't want to doubt this cuz it sounds so cool. Aaron being able to use creation is cool. But that silly bit of lore that says powers are inherited. What's Aaron's relation to the spinjitzu master family?
Pin me if you dare ask the same(i wish i had a batman emoji)
Also bit of a gripe dump where do elemental powers come from? because if they come from that imperium fat dragon guy, Then why do the ninja lose them when they retire the golden weapons. If they are connected to the Golden weapons why don't other elemental masters lose their powers? Obviously it's not ranged because when the weapons were on that asteroid the ninjas weren't weakened! If they're not directly connected to Lloyd why do they lose them in possession( the best season)? How did did the spinjitzu master harness the powers from the mother of all dragons if the new dragon is the creator of elemental powers? Also what does he make the mother of all dragons? Why do the time brothers suck? If the weapons are needed for tornado of creation can the ninja no longer do that making it another forgotten ability? How can gamadon participate in tornado if he is destruction? Can we finally get an arc where garmdon decides he doesn't know what his image is? {Finnaly breaths}
Anywho continue smiling to you who listed to my question rant!
Transferring Spinjitzu into an object is called throwing it, and the force of motion causes it to spin, so Arin isn’t special
Bro turned into canman 18😂
This can be true but we should remember this is Ninjago and here there is no foreshadowing. Every villan comes because sensi wo forgot to tell
“LONG BEFORE TIME HAD A NA-“
To be fair, Wu has died several times before, so it's fully possible that he's dead and comes back
That theory definitely has some valid points to it when an elemental Master dies the power can be passed on like the original ice Elemental master to zane another example would be Morrow's power control over wind transfer to random girl don't forget there are other users of the power of creation and destruction users such as Lloyd, Sensei Wu, and Garmadon because they're all direct descendants of the first Spinjitzu master oh yeah and the fact that you can inherit them genetically and that they can skip a generation and that's just a film Theory
Honestly, I don't give two s**** whether or not he has creation powers or not. Either way, from what I know he's a neat character, but personally my favorite from dragons rising is either Wildfire or Euphrasia (Wildfire because honestly she's kind of cool and reminds me of early season Kai and Euphrasia because honestly I just love Morro! Also the female master of wind I've been wishing for is here!)
I think Arin has the powers of the fsm and that’s how he taught himself spinjitzu
I have a Therory that Arin has the power of Transfer bc he could transfer his spinjitzu into other objects so mamybe he could transfer elemental powers into people ( yes I know it doesnt sound like an element but so as tech and fusion)
After the first merge it made the first spinjitzu master with him he made Ninjago and the realms, now after THIS merger if Arin did inherit these powers from Wu that would then make him The First Spinjitzu Master
It's interesting but illogical since I distinctly remember someone else in the show having a gold spinjutsu.
I believe it was in the Pirate season.
He either dead or possibly arin is a reincarnation of wu. Bit of a mad theory but I think it's plausible.
BRO I WAS THINKING THAT- I was also thinking that since we have no clue what happened to Skylar maybe Arin became the new Elemental Master of Amber!!
I think he has made some sort of astral form with his powers
I would like to not believe this due to the new set that came out with Wu recently. Though this would be difficult to believe because one Lloyd is still in the show and he is his nephew or something like that meaning wouldn’t Lloyd be the leader of the ninjas. Plus Aarin’s parents don’t have any correlation with elemental power therefore I would find it hard to believe that somehow Wu’s power just magical transformed itself into Arin.
No no he better not be dead I watched Ninjago my whole life multiple times 😢
Well, we don’t know if Sensi Wu ever had kids his self
I thought the whole point was that Lloyd was the grandson of the first Spinjitzu master so he inherited the power that’s why he’s the master and he’s the all powerful green ninja
No one is talking about what is written on his shirt
Although I think it would’ve been A little anticlimactic if Wu died off screen, I wouldn’t be against this idea.
I believe arin is a new elemental master that being kinetic energy. Since we got the elemental master of heat and the elemental master of tech, kinetic energy isn't out of the question. And it would make sense on how he is able to add Spinjitzu to objects since he's manipulating kinetic energy, kinetic energy is movement it could be his own way of creating a weapon out of his element since he's just now starting off and it is a brand new element just like heat. I'm just saying
Wait maybe arin has skylars power and then he found Wu and maybe took his powers because it doesnt really make sense that Wu gave his power to Arin because only the sons and grandsons and their son would only be able to get that power so maybe Arin is Lloyds son?
Aren’t the abilities passed down through bloodlines, that would mean he is wu’s son.
Does anyone else have like a light ptsd or reaction to the lavender town music?
Anyway. That's cool and interesting theory that I don't hate or even dislike, but I'd prefer Arin to be powerless and just have pure Ninja skill and unique spinjitzu mastery.
Like how ken from street fighter took the fighting style he and ryu both learned and made it into something his own.
