I never knew my mirrors could automatically fold in like that. I've been driving my 2005 for a while now and you just taught me something new. Thank you
Just got this truck first one I’ve owned they are my dream trucks never thought I’d have a chance to own one took a small fortune to get my old Mater street worthy but it was worth it!! Thanks so much!!! lol 😊
Thanks for this and all Avalanche info. I just got a 2006 Regency with 107000 miles and I Love it. You really helped me figure out how everything works including the side trunks. Which I just opened and found out I don't have a Jax.... 😮
The same button that he uses for the interior lights mine does the same thing if you push it on and off but also if you push it on and off on mine as well if I turn on and off four times I can have my daytime running lights, turned off, so they’re not always on burning out
yea it helprd i own a 05 chevy avalancge with the exact same features but what i didnt know was the power assisted folding mirrors ,very cool thanks for the info
I just bought an 03 Avy and appreciate your video it has been very informative! 👍 Good clean truck hoping it turns out to be a great ride! Thanks! Subscribed! 👍
awe thanks, i appreciate that.... the avys are amazing trucks... if you need more videos, check out the rest of my channel. I literally have almost every maintenance video possible
I had the same layout in my 06 Escalade. My 03 Avy is much more basic. I love it. Having all those gadgets ment more for the modules to mess up. Take my heated seats for instance, they would turn on and of on their own and cycle at times while I'm driving. Also that dual zone climate control got stuck in the defrost. Im getting the tow mirrors with the heated option soon. One thing I wish, that the fog lights, I wish I didn't have to manually turn them on every time I start the truck. Thanks for sharing Ryan. Ps I havthe bench front seat with the bigger armrest. Such an open feel instead of the console. Didn't know that I would like it. Now I prefer it.
@@Kingcustomz I just replaced the switch. It really sucked, of course it didn't malfunction in winter. It was in summer lol. Initially I had to stick a thin piece of paper to keep the button depressed because it wouldn't stop turning on. At the time I just found a junk yard that had the switch. But in hind sight I should have tried some contact cleaner first.
@@Kingcustomz I don't have the Escalade any longer. Wasn't worth the problems. They are all time AWD and transfer cases go more often than on the standard gmt800 trucks.
We have a 2012 Chevy Avalanche 4 wheel drive with the knob for the 4 wheel beside your light adjustment switch behind the steering wheel to the left. Where is the Bed Cargo light switch.
Does your 12v cigarette lighter always stay on ? I plugged in a cigarette USB charger for my drive cam and I noticed it stays on even when the truck is off
Hey man! I have an 04 Avalanche Z71, and I'm considering purchasing a head unit with Bluetooth and backup camera capabilities for a decent price, any recommendations??
I am in the market for one myself. I had a nice one with internet and everything. It cost about 150 and it was well worth it. one of my wires got loose and shorted out the audio in the radio internally, got to find a new one. as soon as i find one i will leave the link for you
Your video is incomplete you never showed what all the buttons on the steering wheel do your title says you would show what " All " the buttons do in the Chevy Avalanche... so it was not useful for me.

You are very welcome, thank you for watching😬. Our mirrors also auto tint which is cool
@@Kingcustomz Mirror tint? Sorry I just saw this.
Yup. When it’s super bright out or dark the mirror turns into the greenish tint to protect from the glare
Me either. I drive a 2017 jeep renegade 4x4 so buying and driving now also a used 2004 chev av Its super different and this vid helped plenty

@@ravielf.6822 awe man, sorry to hear that,,, glad you are happy with your avy though
Nice job! What's the button on the end of the shifter arm for?
I believe that one should be towing
So simple so easy so good.
Great video
Looking forward to get a z71.
Thanks
thanks man, get one. you will not regret it at all

im not sure on the 2012
Can you sync drivers and passenger temperature controls
Yes you can
Is there a way to make the mirrors fold in automatically when you turn the vehicle off?
I’m not sure I’ll check into that
Does your 12v cigarette lighter always stay on ? I plugged in a cigarette USB charger for my drive cam and I noticed it stays on even when the truck is off
Yes it does, but Chevy has a system that the lighter will shut off when the battery reaches a certain voltage to avoid no start conditions
What about the buttons on the steering wheel?
ill make a video for that, it'll be a short
Thank you
I still haven’t forgotten about you
What about the buttons on the rearview mirror (comp) and such?
😳😳😳I forgot about those🤧
How do you replace the interior light button on/off
On and off for the dome lights?
@@Kingcustomz yes
It’s not shutting off the lights when the door is open
there is a little roll switch by the control panel for the head lights, see if you have it turned up
I still can't figure out how to turn on the lights in the front, under the headlights next to the marker lights on the inside
i think those are high beams, no?
Those are your daytime running lights @@Kingcustomz
Mine had a C for my tha heat and not F how do I change because it only goes up to 32C and as low as 15c but nothing else
I think its a function through the instrument cluster
