What he said: "Event no.3"
What I heard: ThUmbS oN nIpPlEs
I questioned if saying nipples was appropriate lmao 🤣
But he had to return his thumbs on nipples when he did his push ups to count as a rep haha
Like, wth are we talkn about...I wasn't ready to hear that one while another man is doing exercises.
Didn’t hear that :L I just heard Evnet no.3:L
U heard right sir ...! 😂
Yo someone commented on my last video and said I was caked up....whoever that was........call me
Austen you picked a Specialist that was in for 9 years meaning he’s in the E4 mafia, no way an E4 takes 9 years to get to E5
@@crumplygrub3212 technically he can't be specialist for 9 years. Cut off is 8. Which means he did make sergeant, he just fucked up.
@@crumplygrub3212 he's a nasty guard.
They pretend to have discipline until it's time to deploy, or at least every other nasty guard I've seen does.
@Boaz Schroder His body and his strength are legit but his information is misleading and faulty at times
OH SHEEET!!! LMAO
Love the idea of having guys from different military branches attempt each other's fitness tests
@Digby Dooright he probably can 😂
Went to the gym today for the first time in 4 years. My goal is to drop 100 pounds
dude you got this! you are gonna look RIPPED, lol but thats AMAZING
You will succeed! Focus on what you want to be able to do or do more of post 100lbs. Get that marathon mentality - you are capable!
Just don't quit and you are gonna be golden!
Remember to take it gradually, don’t rush and you got this!
Dropped about 30lbs to join
Austen looks like Elon Musk if he was Buff and Blonde.
😂 😂 and more broke
I don’t see it. Austin Alexander reminds me a lot of Austin Alexander
@@hypershock0762 *Austen
Elon Musk should be so lucky as to look like Austen!
I was looking for this comment.
Sailor: Let's try Navy PRT
Soldier: Let's do it.
Sailor: 500 meters swimming.
Soldier: I do not how to swim.
Sailor: Failed...
Soldier: FucQ
Underrated comment
Sailor: Swim!
Soldier: Is that like drowning?
I do not how to swim?
I'm army and I swim 3000m a day lol
Navy isn’t required to do the swim. It’s an option.
"If you can't join em, beat em" lol
I like how everyone in your vids and you are always in a serious mood but crackin jokes every now and then. Keep it up. Lots of inspiration
after watching james charles & markiplier do the military obstacle course, im now obsessed with the channel and ofc sara makes everything better haha
Same lol
Need you
Wow... he had a 9 year specialist in the NATIONAL GUARD grade him... 🥴 (Thats Me 🤣)
I know...what a loser
Asking for a friend.. you guys have any single buddies 😂?
I was going to say the same thing 😂 I’ve been in the guard a little under 5 years and am already E-5 lmao he should be at least an E-6 by now
Depends on his MOS. As a medic, our highest ranking was E6 and 60 years old. Some of us only get promoted if someone dies or we get picked up at a unit 8 hours away 🙄. I got promoted quick once I went active though.
@@charlesedens3785 just haven’t gone to BLC : I’ve prioritized school and civilian career over the guard
Leave it to the Army to make a push-up more complicated than it needs to be...
For reeeeeall! The army makes everything shitty.
@@lecinemaaficionado4648 Including your life, if you were caught downrange. Puke!
Was that even English?? Holy shit!
pretty sure thats to make sure the maggots are actually doing the full pushup
I think hand release push ups are eaiser…
We are so obsessed with this channel after watching the military obstacle course!
Chris! I've been following him from the beginning! Glad to see these two working together on this video. The new Army Combat Fitness is perfect for guys and gals like Austen who work out a lot.
Thanks for the support !!
Those Push Ups are Great! Reestablishing the starting position every time. Putting a level of strength in the test is amazing… this is a good test of combat readiness.
Hey Brother, that was an amazing video. I'm going to basic next month, now i have a better understanding and idea of how to manage my time, and my energy. Thank you and keep that hard work.
i really really like this channel, so motivating
*out of the Navy

Nov 09 😁
Outstanding ACFT video including explanations and demonstrations. Great to see Austin bringing service members, and civilians, together in the name of fitness and competition. But: Go Army, Beat Navy!
GO NAVY!!!! Navy veteran here. Love you guys...
thank you for doing this, i was hoping you would do it soon! you great i love watching your stuff!
thank you! Had to correct the mistakes in the last video so I got an actual Soldier to proctor
thank you for doing this, i was hoping you would do it soon! you great i love watching your stuff!
"The only authorized rest position is in...in the.. fr-... the, the plank"
Man I was really hoping he would say the only authorized rest position is the front leaning rest position 🤣🤣takes me way back🤣🤣
Did anyone seriously think that he wouldnt be able to Ace it?
I knew he would ace it it
He failed the hand release push-ups, technically, but the Army guy didn't tell him all of the requirements. Your feet can't be more than the width of one of your feet apart, and you have to fully extend and lock your arms when you do the T. Both of these things disqualified the push-ups he did. You also have a specific amount of rest time authorized between each event, and we don't know if he got that rest time, or if he got too much rest time (which would disqualify him if he did). But we'll just trust them on the last point.
@@LyneaSilver also the rest position was wrong. There is no rest position as per FM 7-22
The only way you "rest" is by slowly moving your hands out when in the prone position. It's not the plank at all. And in the Deadlifts you cannot move your hands or reposition them. For Leg Tucks there's a certain diameter bar that's used for a reason so they screwed him there but otherwise it wasn't bad at all. Just slightly off what the Army standard is
@@RyanELemon no. The rest position for the push-ups is the front leaning rest, they brief it before you even do the pushups
@@CailinnNoT there is no authorized resting position bro
Awesome to watch great editing too 👍
Thanks for the inspiration
"It's really cute when the Navy tries to play Army" 😂
that got me haha
It’s cute when army tries to play marines😂
I remember the Army coming to 29 Palms watching us how we conduct the CFT..I guess the Army still need hero's.
Austen never disappoints with his content! I laugh, I cry, and enjoy every video. Love how patriotic this channel is. It's so refreshing!!
I like all video . You inspire me more about try to apply a course in security department. thanks for all these lessons.
Thanks to all security forces .great work
Very interesting...thanks for your service
'Its really cute when the navy tries to play army'. I lost it at this
Re-Up and join the Navy
They Drown in the Navy
Re-Up and Join the Chair Force
They crash in the Chair Force
Such amazing guy well done 👏
I like trying these fitness tests as workouts since my gym closed
Here's me, sitting here hobbling to the fridge for a water when I really want a beer or soda, but I'm staying on the diet needed for my foot to heal, maybe when it's done I'll not go back to the junk, and finally lose some weight.
My brother is in the Navy, which is cool to watch your videos!! Thanks for posting you videos (by the way my brother is a missile technician)
Whew that's pretty much like a crazy obstacle course. Nice job and (from the Army comments) hopefully the kinks are worked out
Austen, you passed with flying colors! You made it look easy! Great job!🤜🤛🇺🇸🇺🇸
Lol he said “it’s cute when navy tries to play army” even though he absolutely blew the test out of the water.
Great job 👏
Proud of you!
I can't never do any of this at all watching this causes me pain , like the type of pain I get every Friday after physical training and I'm in MCJROTC ☠️.
Well done given the equipment constraints. Little off on standards of the events but I think most know that. The ACFT isn’t hard to pass, but it is hard to MAX. That’s the real test! Bravo nonetheless.
Nice job can’t wait to see the finished battle bunker
making a video about that next!
Let’s gooooo!!!!! Killed it bro!
I swear to God! That Sprint Drag Carry🤦♂️ Trynna max that but i can't 😂
Most of your time is probably on the sled drag. Best advice I can give is to practice that portion with an overloaded sled on a surface that provides a really nasty amount of resistance, so that when it comes time to do it with 90 lbs and most likely on turf, it's super easy
Then theres Me eating popcorn on my bed
Haha
Great job
That's awesome! These military action heroes were really look like real-life LVN Action Heroes!
I’m watching this at 10 pm eating a bowl of cereal.
I'm here for the giant heads in the video image HAHAHAHAAH
😂 yessss
Lol quagmire heads, love it!😂
u crushed that man good work.
I love these videos
My uncle was obese and For about 4months before my uncle joined he done a weekly exercise routine like I’m mentioning bellow and he passed all his tests before everyone else and he done more
M:push strength
T:pull strength
W:legs and abs strength
T:swimming % rope climbing % jumping
F:push endurance
S:pull endurance
S:legs and abs endurance
I recommend also doing cardio everyday for anyone worrying about there fitness
Hope this helps
The hex bar is actually harder. I’m a SSG active soldier and regularly dead lift 405lb
The hex bar is way easier for me. I think it depends on your build.
Great job brother! I hope to get scores like that. My weakness is the dead lift. Easy pass but not an easy max.
Go Army!
9 year spc Jesus 😂 that e4 mafia is tough my guy
Mafia elder lmao
When I was in Army basic we had to do 50 pushups and 60 situps in 2 minutes. Then had to run 2 miles in 15 minutes. The females even had to run 2 miles in 18 minutes.
So Amazing trainer Vlogs 😎👍🏽
Nothing but respect for those in uniform!
His feet are to far apart on the hand release push-ups.
Yep it’s the graders foot width or together
1... 1... 1
But he picked up his foot...
I am a single mom and am enlisting in the army next year.. im a little nervous
listen, its okay. you are gonna be okay. give your beautiful and amazing kids a big hug and you are gonna be protecting us. im so proud of you, but just know that its gonna be okay. you are doing something that takes so much bravery. you got this!
The physical requirements are different for females so stay fit but you don't have to be a beast.
You got it!
What's your IG? What does your body look like?
@@msdaus14 sorry, but im just trying to encourage her, its really scary but i just dont want her to be scared, i mean its okay to be nervous or scared but its not a good feeling. but im trying to put a little bit of pressure off of her back. sorry.
That is cool Austen can actually do all the physical stuff. Seems like a nice guy and good looking!
We need to try this.
The national guardsman: you like playing army?
Every active duty person in every branch: we could ask you the same thing
Eh he's doing more than most ever care to be but hey if your active navy sitting on a boat from 5-10 or sitting in a nice air conditioned room in well any of the branches you can't play at being any better.
love playing army then going home to my civilian life after a weekend of training
I like being a civilian the other 29 days of the month 🤣🤣🤣
Aren’t his feet too far apart when he did the hand release push-ups?
It’s kinda funny in a few days I’m gonna go to basic training I put in for the navy as well Austin has encouraged me to push farther than needed I feel ill do great.
Enjoy your time in. It was the best years of my life. Go Navy
HOOWAH!!! Combat ready. Thanks for serving fellas.
"It's really cute when the Navy tries to play Army"
Says the dude in the national guard lol
🤣🤣 it got me, My dad has said similar things numerous times, He was in the Army
I see he didn't say that to the other guys face and I don't blame him 😂
@@j0monkeey it’s still the army. the army is comprised of 3 components. Active, Reserve, and National Guard.
@@masonreinders7420 no shit
I’ve Discovered This Channel Thanks To Katelyn Ohashi! And I’m Kinda Obsessed - Wish I Could Be Able To Do This But I’m Dying Just Watching 😂
Glad to have you here Tian!

That sled pull is the humbler just like the ammo can lift in the cft
Looks fun
I love how he said that it was cute when the Navy plays Army but he's NG so he's also playing Army. lmfao.
sprint drag carry, designed to kill lmao
Aye it’s chris Kellum I love his RUclips channel. I love yours Austen. This is a great collaboration.
thanks dood
Austen i'm a big fan of your quads man!
Haha thank you 🙏
Austin looks like a mix between Steve Rodgers and Elon musk
I ran Track and X-Country in College so during all the events I was oh my that is hard, but for the last one I was that's easy.
Yeah, the sprint drag carry really kills your thighs, but everyone, at least that I’m with is in agreement that the ball throw is stupid
ATejkl depends, not everyone has upper body strength.
@@TakenByStormEquestrian i think he means stupid in a different way. Personally i dont know in what situation you would throw an object backwards while youre in the field
@@TakenByStormEquestrian i dont know if they told you this but 1: grenades arent 15, or even 10 pounds in weight and 2: if a grenade gets thrown at you, your first reaction wouldnt be throwing it back with your back at the enemy (or throwing it back in the first place) is would most likely be to get to a safe place. You dont know if someone held a grenade for 2 seconds before throwing it and it took 2 seconds to get to you, knowing terrorists, most of them dont have proper training and probably use unconventional tactics like cooking a grenade etc
@@TakenByStormEquestrian yeahhhh, you’re definitely wrong on this, IM in the army, I have a brother in the navy, I have multiple other family members that have served or are serving, it’s stupid lol, it doesn’t test anything, it’s more technique than it is strength
that sled drag is a killer.
I was in 2nd ranger batt, should try some selection workouts
He kinda looks like Elon Musk, but a little more musk
Imagine only being an e4 after 9 years lol
Was thinking the same thing 🤣
E4 CORRECTED
I’m saying 😂😂
Some e4 mafia to the next level
sounds about right for guard.
I respect anybody that served our country and I enjoyed the video
He maxed that shit dam
Oh wow I thought you got out of the Navy already Austen, it must be getting close right?
yep! Nov 09 I pick up my DD214
you got a reply from the legend himself
@@AustenAlexander i ship November 10th for the navy haha
That’s the oldest Army Specialist I’ve ever seen 😳🤯
🤣 as a medic I've seen 35 year old 6 year PFCs getting injured 😂
I once had a drill sergeant in her 50s, army needs nigh numbers of personnel so we take older people
@@joshuachamberlain7266 come again?
ive seen older
I’ve seen so many soldiers fall at the side lateral cause their legs are shot after the drag 🤣
I just finished my workout.. and think.. ohh I’m Good..lalala
And than I See your Video 🤭... you are very Good ( Strong Man 💪🏻)
The army dude looks like Frank Castle
LOL JON BERNTHAL HUH
I have a feeling one contractor is selling the Army that crossfit style equipment.
Bingo
Woot Get it
Need to practice that 2 mile but you aced it

Its really cute when the navy tries to play army
Navy: *beats the army training with a 100% score*
I FEEL LIKE IM BEING TREATED UNFAIRLY WHY DID HE HAVE TO DO 2 MILES IN 16 MINUTES BUT ME BEING IN 8TH GRADE HAVE TO RUN 5 MILES AS FAT AS POSSIBLE AND EACH 500 METERS HAD TO BE UNDER 1 : 20 MIN THEN RIGHT AFTER THAT DO 9 MILES IN A MAX OF 40 MIN BUT THEY ACTUALLY GOT MAD AT YOU IF YOU REALLY TOOK ALL THE 40MIN. THEN WE WENT A RUN ON THE WOODS CLOSE TO THE SCHOOL WITH A TOTAL OF 10 MILES JOGGING!?!?!
Damn that was a concentration camp actually my friend
Respect ✊
Entering into DEP for Navy and joining the Navy Warrior Challenge to contract out as a Navy Diver. Love the content man!
i did the same thing! Getting that shirt feels incredible. best of luck!
