Those Push Ups are Great! Reestablishing the starting position every time. Putting a level of strength in the test is amazing… this is a good test of combat readiness.

Outstanding ACFT video including explanations and demonstrations. Great to see Austin bringing service members, and civilians, together in the name of fitness and competition. But: Go Army, Beat Navy!
He failed the hand release push-ups, technically, but the Army guy didn't tell him all of the requirements. Your feet can't be more than the width of one of your feet apart, and you have to fully extend and lock your arms when you do the T. Both of these things disqualified the push-ups he did. You also have a specific amount of rest time authorized between each event, and we don't know if he got that rest time, or if he got too much rest time (which would disqualify him if he did). But we'll just trust them on the last point.
@@LyneaSilver also the rest position was wrong. There is no rest position as per FM 7-22 The only way you "rest" is by slowly moving your hands out when in the prone position. It's not the plank at all. And in the Deadlifts you cannot move your hands or reposition them. For Leg Tucks there's a certain diameter bar that's used for a reason so they screwed him there but otherwise it wasn't bad at all. Just slightly off what the Army standard is
