Holy crap, Midna actually speaks? I knew the little bits of dialogue were unique, but I didn't think they were actually coherent and meant things!
That is how awesome Midna is.
They did the same thing with Dr. Bad boon in Super Monkey Ball 2, and I think something similar to the chu chus for the "Animalese" in Animal Crossing. It's a common trick for characters to have pseudo voice acting without actual dialogue cause it can go with anything, but you still hear their "voice". (and WAY less annoying than Sim-lish).
Now we just need someone to translate the Hocotatian/Koppite language from Pikmin 3. I noticed that they "say" different things depending on which version of the game you play, but it's the same "vocal sounds" regardless of the game's language.
Mario Mastar Animalese is nothing more than the character quickly saying each and every letter as it appears.

Ocarina of time is the best to start with. it's relates to almost every other zelda game time-line wise and also is a good intro to the how the series' puzzles work

Whenever I played this game, I always got the impression that it was scrambled human speech. At first I thought it was Japanese, which I don't think is an unreasonable thing to think, but upon listening to it more, it really sounded more like English to me. There was even one time where I swear I heard the word "power", without any scrambling. It's bound to happen sometime, right? Seeing it confirmed gave me the warm fuzzies :3

Actually, Fi's language can be translated as it is consistent throughout her speech. "Mari Madas" can be translated into "Master Link" or just "Master"

Well, they did mention the ChuChus in a previous vid but it was mentioning how in the German version of Links Awakening if you did certain things to them they would say inappropriate (yet funny) things.
As much as I'd love MM 3D, since I love gaming on the go, and the LoZ games are some of the few games that seem to have visual styles that mesh REALLY well with the 3D function, I certainly wouldn't mind a Majora's Mask U either.
I wouldn't care what they'd put it on, honestly.
Just give me a MM remake and I'll be happy.
Sin Kamar why not both. if they made both they could make it so that you could easily transfer save files between Wii U and 3DS meaning you can play it on the Wii U when at home so that it would be on the TV and continue with the game on your 3DS when you have to go somewhere else (at a friends house, on the bus, ect)

They will probably begin to remake majoras mask, then scrap it and create a new game with elements from majoras mask, it seems to be a ongoing trend. I hope a majoras mask like game is made instead of a remake
Me too. I love Majoras Mask to no end, but I'd love to see a new OoT/MM based Zelda game on the 3DS, while they try new stuff with the series on the WiiU.
I'd just be happy with a release on Wii U in 1080p and 60 fps. Doesn't need to make textures or anything better. Ofc not full price at that point.
A new Majora's Mask-like game would, in my opinion, be the better option. If OoT 3D and WW HD shows us anything, it's that Nintendo isn't too keen on adding things to Zelda remakes, aside from improving presentation. Majora's Mask is a game that BEGS to be expanded upon, its small dungeon count compared to other games in the series being the shining example. Imagine more dungeons, more sidequests, more masks, and a bigger overworld. Hell, imagine seeing Termina in different branches of the timeline. That's just my idea though, ultimately it means nothing.
Seriously why all the skyward sword hate. It was a great game. First of all it was beautiful. It was like a perfect combination of Windwaker and Twilight Princesses art style.
Second of all the music was amazing! Ballad of the goddess, Skyloft theme, Ghirahim's theme, I can't stop listening to those songs.
The bosses were pretty good too. Yeah the imprisoned was REALLY REALLY annoying. But Ghirahim was a great character, He was unique, Fun, And intimidating at the same time. And the golden robot boss was AWESOME! So satisfying to pick up his sword and cut his arms off and swing crazy at him. And the final battle battle felt epicly satisfying. The final strike where you jump and smite your sword with lightning and stab it into demises heart was EPIC.
And then the Fi complaints. I'm serious. What was so annoying about Fi? I found the percentages to be a funny part of her personality. And then once you get to the end of the game you actually feel bad.
The side characters like groose were a great addition to the story. He played a great role. I would have never believed I would like him so much when the game was starting.
The controls were PERFECT. I loved being able to fight with the wii remote and really control how the sword is swung. It felt great. Yes sometimes the nunchuck got a little glitchy and made link walk backwards randomly but it was all worth it.
The only thing actually bad about about the game was the linear feel. The Sky was pretty boring and empty and I didn't enjoy my time there. But that was about 8% of the game.
You're not the only one who likes the game, don't worry.

I just got sick of the wiimoting. I can play a game with a regular controller all day, but I get tired of swinging a nunchuck around after two or three hours.
Horrible motion controls that ruined the experience for me. Also, the backtracking was ridiculous, as well as fighting the same boss multiple times.

It is possible this version of Four Swords Adventures was later re-envisioned on the Nintendo DSi and 3DS as The 25th Anniversary Legend of Zelda Four Swords Adventures. Which was a Multiplayer game not entirely focused on story, but more or less puzzle solving.

I don't even think you have to reverse it. Listening to the unscrambled speech, I can definitely hear most, if not all, of them unaltered in Midna's speech pattern. God knows I've played that game enough times to recognize that sort of thing...
***** I only ever had the Wii version, but either 9 or 11 times on the Wii. I definitely remember clearing each save file 3 times, but I think I did two more so I could do a run with all 20 heart containers and one with the 3-Heart Challenge. I am considering getting a Wii-U specifically so I can play the HD version.

I think a full 3ds Four Swords would be nice, if they expanded it a bit and maybe added an online mode. Eiji Aonuma did mention adding some multiplayer to the Zelda series.

You definitely should! It gets criticized often for a minor portion of the storyline, but it can be easily explained. Twilight Princess is by far my favorite in the series.
This is the first time I noticed the tech demo at e3. Link is holding his sword in his right hand! granted it's a WiiU tile and with the Wii and WiiU you use a Wii mote so he can be right handed but for the video they should have made him left handed as usual.

But if you made a character and a unique characteristic was that he or she was left handed then if there was a reason for it then I'd like the character to keep that characteristic.
RileyRivalle2 I think you need to understand that link is intended to be left handed. The only reason he was right handed in twilight princess(Wii version only) and skyward sword was because most of the worlds population is right handed, so there's no reason for you to think its just "change". The tech might have been playable at some point and had motion controls. Who knows?

I've grown a weird appreciation for Twilight Princess over the years. I never really liked it, but I think I was trying to dislike it a bit because I was still frustrated over the butthurt response to Wind Waker. I still think it's one of the most linear and definitely the most artistically boring of the series, and I honestly don't retain must nostalgia for it as a whole, but after replaying it recently and recalling some moments throughout the game I say a fitting niche for the title. The dark atmosphere and Midna herself provided some great experiences, although they're bogged down between trudging through the barren wasteland that is Hyrule, along with drawn out and repetitive canine scavenger hunts. The game was, for the most part, dull, but it had its moments.
Could NOT agree more. I had the same exact experience.I think of my favorite moments from a Zelda game, and I usually end up thinking about a lot of parts from Twilight Princess. It's not my absolute favorite, and compared to Wind Waker it's visuals are lacking, but it's great nonetheless.
You've simply grown tired of hating on the few things you didn't like, and that's opened the floodgates for you to admit to all of the things you actually did like. It's very common; it happens with just about everything.

I found both the bosses and dungeons to be dull, easy, and mind numbing. I did like City in the Sky and Snowpeak's mansion (and Blizzeta). Other than those, they are "meh." It is also not dark, I agree, but it tries and fails with horror anime clichés.
Stallord is obviously cool, but nothing else.

I liked some aspects regarding the ambientation of the dungeons, the design is great. But I only had fun in those two.
I get that the spirits wanted Link to be wary of the power, but that cinematic is what makes me go "you are trying way too hard to be cool." I agree, it is not dark past lightning. Wind Waker is a great game, neither hard or extremely easy; is fun to play; it has a solid story; and has one of the few characters that is not one dimensional in the entire series, Ganondorf. People should really look beyond graphics.

I loved this series since the beginning, and ever since going to Shane's panel at SGC and talking to him, I've gained so much more respect. He's really humble and you could tell that despite the fame, he's still the same person. Great that a person like him leads a show like this. That, and his expressions through crazy ass questions were priceless.

Another thing I noticed is that in Ocarina of Time, when Link gets hit by those moving spike things, he goes into the same position as Link's death pose from Zelda II, suggesting even farther that Ocarina of Time was heavily based off of a Zelda II remake!

Voice acting in a Zelda game would be forgivable, so long as Link remains a mute. Hearing Link voice acted would be a trainwreck for his character, even worse than DmC Dante.

Speaking of backwards dialogue... the Lorulian black market owner in Link Between Worlds will chant some "gibberish" if you question him, saying it's a good luck charm. It's actually "Buy somethin', will ya?" in reverse, a reference to the merchants from the original Legend of Zelda!
I figured this "Knight" would be an early version of Dark Link. Both Link and this Knight are right-handed in the trailer, and his shield looks like an untextured version of Link's shield.
