Hey - I picked up a bottle of Quattro Pizzi when I was in Milan in March. I’ll send you a sample. It’s beautiful - a photorealistic scent of white tuberoses (not indolic or once they’ve turned yellow) with a hint of rum and coconut. Lasts all day on me and the sillage is captivating too. Even worked in the cold rainy Italian weather. Wavechild is similar to a watermelon jelly rancher but aquatic. Fun but not sure I want a full bottle.

great video! I appreciate your occasional pep talk on the side. I agree about your point on the Kardashians, about how we all have different working budget on our "hobbies" and I will see Dune 2 since you mentioned it. I tried Acqua di Gioia intense and liked it but it dried down being just a tad masculine on me so I did not get it and instead I got the OG again after so many years. I also picked up BIR Green Stravaganza and you are spot on! I love the initial spray, if only it stayed that way, but the dry down was just another vanilla sweet skin scent so I had to return it. I plan to get Ocean di Gioia (which to me smells like an aquatic watermelon) next even though it in not a new release, but just for the upcoming summer! :D

I'm enjoying the Stravaganza flanker. I'm also enjoying Acqua di Gioia Intense! It takes me back to those early 2000s freshies. Wildly Me didn't do it for me unfortunately. I love n,768 Golden Reign by Noteworthy which is a honey, jasmine, vanilla smell.

I'm soooo intrigued with Wavechild. I almost pulled the trigger on buying to add to my summer rotation, but I ended up getting Giardini di Toscana BoraBora. I did request a sample 🤞, so hopefully it's in stock to come with my ourchase of BoraBora. With that said...I have heard that it starts off strong with a watermelon jolly rancher vibe (which I'm okay with), but that the watermelon is fleeting (not so okay with). Wavechild is so good! I bought a bottle shortly after it was released. It’s the most realistic watermelon fragrance I’ve tried. Not like candy. I’m not a fan of candy-like frags. I’m sure you’ll love it!
The coconut is more fresh than creamy and watermelon stands out more than the coconut.

Comète definitely starts cherry, floral and almond , there is a note as well that I don’t like ( not sure what it is,dang it), the dry down after 20 minutes is when I started loving it. Dried down to a beautiful soft yet rich musk on my skin, the icky note disappeared ….I had to buy😍❤️
I met two lovely ladies there and they loved the opening, later they re smelled on me; it was a nopers from them. I was told by the manager that a gent earlier ,also disliked the opening but returned an hour later to purchase as loved it on him when it settled
There were beautiful new eye palettes , I purchased Le Beiges “deep mauve” it went on so silky, it is gorgeous.
My nose is still not quite educated in many notes, apologies 🙏🏻. I wish I could describe the scent better .

Well, I couldn't comment last night, but now I'm armed with some "olfactory info" 🥰 (went to my Grandson's senior cello recital at our university 30 miles north this afternoon, and couldn't come back home before swinging by Sephora for a sniff)! - LOVED The Acqua di Gioia Intense, *definitely* going on my wish list for a full bottle (not too strong at all for my kinda-wonky nose) - Good Girl Blush Elixer was also a *love*, and surprisingly, the green Valentino may be my fave! I want all three!
Also cellist-Grandson keeps asking me when I'm going to start watching Stranger things, and I went to see Dune II with my youngest son a few weeks back (really glad we watched the first one the night before at home, though, or I would have been lost)!

I loved New West, an updated version would be so perfect for summer. I like the Andrea Maack solstice but haven't worn it enough to love it, it is maybe a touch more floral that I want in a Watermelon fragrance but it is lovely and relevant to the inspiration, as was New West in it's time. We just need watermelon scents of the world!
I'm going to need to sample Solstice again. I really enjoyed it and thought the watermelon 🍉 note was the best I had tried in years, but it faded faster than I had hoped. Let me pull out my sample again! 👍👍👍

FYI if you really are looking for a watermelon fragrance you may want to try a Dua release called The Empress. Mine came today and it reminds me of Solstice with a little better longevity. Great summer fragrance:)) Not sure what prompted me to order it but it was not because of the watermelon, that was a nice bonus. Made me think of you:))

Salt and Stone has deodorant. I bought all 4 and mostly reach for the Bergamot and Hinoki.. although I’ve been saving the Neroli one for Summer. The other 2 are nice but strong and compete with my fragrance so I can only wear selectively. The Santal one smells very much like LeLabo to my nose.

I love love loooove Wildly Me by Florence! I don't know why nobody is talking about, it is a modern woody powdery fragrance perfectly on trend. It deserves a lot more attention especially for the price point. Also I can't wait for Stranger Things.

I bought a travel spray of My Way Nectar. It’s so lovely! I have the original and the intense. I wasn’t sure about the original at first, but it grew on me to the point that I wanted the intense. Nectar is a new love. 💕
I’ve been wanting to try Green Stravaganza but the tea note scared me. I’m not always a fan. If the tea (to you) is not prominent, I might give it a try after all. I love all the Valentino Born in Roma fragrances. I don’t like the original Donna. She was evidently born somewhere else!!😂😂😂

Hiii Leah! 💖 I really do NOT think the tea is prominent in Green Stravaganza, at least not like a traditional English breakfast tea. Try a travel spray, maybe. I took mine to a work event recently and really enjoyed the happy vibe of the opening and the comforting cozy dry down. Donna maybe was born on Mars, eh? 😂 Stranger Things... the first season is my absolute favorite. You'll see so many 80s references in that season. Reallllly cool series if you "suspend disbelief" and allow yourself to get lost in the quirky cast. 👍👍👍

You already know I love Pear Jam. Cosmic is okay. Not a love but I did pick up a travel spray and upgraded to the full size, the price got me 😂. Stravaganza, I picked up a travel spray. But haven't tested it yet. Bergamot and Hinoki sounds right up my alley! 🤚🏽love Stranger Things!! Yes my family and I will be watching 😊. 😂 yes that Bond #9 bottle does scream Easter/ Mother's Day. Hello Veronica, I tried out Sunkissed Goddess and to be honest with you, it smelled like a dozen other tropical ylang-ylang coconut fragrances that I had smelled before.

I got the other two Salt & Stone body sprays in the sale and returned them both they were a BIG no for me. Santal was was full-on dill pickle, the rose oud one was rank oh boy just stinky! 😂😂 But lots of people love them! 🤓 I think I'd like the bergamot hinoki one though! 😅
I can see what you mean. The body washes in both scents just arrived. They are great for body wash. Not sure I'll be grabbing the accompanying sprays. I actually like both, but have similar scents already.
Last comment, I promise 😁When I can't locate a spray sample online, I resort to using the dabber and transfer the fragrance into a 2 ml spray bottle (I have plenty of those 🥴). It truly transforms the experience and gives me a better sense of the scent compared to just dabbing it.
