Thank you Veronica. I am 71 and have within the past two years started to enjoy and appreciate fragrance. Praise the Lord for decants, because I would be in the poor house right now if not for that. I have a couple of these in decants, and have to say most are lovely, but I don't get it with Blanche Bete, So many rave about it and it just doesn't do it for me. I have learned that it is all very subjective, what works on one will not work on another. That is a good thing though, if we all loved the same thing we would have a hard time getting our hands on it:))
Yes, and we all would deplete our accounts trying to buy them if we loved everything! I think of perfume videos as both entertainment and a way to get ideas of different fragrances I might be interested in trying. Getting decants to see what floats your boat is perfectly fine! Whenever I see Blanche Bete the bottle reminds me of Baiser Vole by Cartier and I think it's because that's the bottle I picture in my mind for Baiser Vole.

Blanche Bete smells so basic and so bland. Don’t waste your time or money. You can barely smell it. Smells like old milk. These perfume house are getting ridiculous with these prices. It’s not worth it.

My toe curler is - Elisire Ambre Nomade. Clary Sage top notes that goes into jammy apricots, vanilla, and benzoin heaven, the benzoin has deep caramel faucets. Unisex, leans masculine in the top notes and is feminine in the mid and dry down.

Blanche bete for sure is in my top 10 for life! I was suuuuuper surprised by Vanilla Era- I sprayed it on my wrist in the store and could not stop smelling myself. Ordered a bottle that night. Sweet and Smokey vanilla with a molecular vibe- so good.

I found out that Gentle Fluidity Gold is amazing on me in warmer weather- before it got into the 70's I couldnt smell it that much. Its exactly like Jimmy Choo Jimmy Choo, it blossoms on my skin in the heat.

Ohh, what a fun video. I just ordered a decant of Sensual Orchid which I will definitely pair with Leisure in Paradise. I loooovee this fragrance and it wears really nicely in hot weather. However, a friend of mine was not too thrilled with the papaya note which is quite prominent. I say, gimme all the tropical fruits. You've got to try Carioca Heart by Jusbox, my current toe curler. 😊Mango, pineapple (but mostly ripe mango), rum, vanilla and sandlewood. Oh. My. God. To die for.

I love that perfume house! I got a bunch of samples and have been trying to narrow down which one will be my first bottle - Carioca Heart is a definite front runner. The bottles (and stories behind the scents) are as interesting and hip as the perfumes themselves.
What a fun video!! I feel the same way about Blanche Bete and Leisure in Paradise! My husband feels the same with these two but his favorite “toe curler” on me is a cheapie but goodness he loves it. Prada Candy Kiss! I usually spray it after a shower and going to bed. This perfume wakes him up!! I don’t understand it, it’s nice and fun, not too serious . However if I spray it now it’s the exact same reaction! He will actually pack it for me! Crazy!! So many great fragrances Veronica!❤

Blanche bete agreed. Blonde amber yes! Other that I find to be toe curlers are La Capitale, my beloved BR540, Mojave Ghost, Dolce Melodia, Stellar Times, 1-3 sprays max of Guidance anything more than that it becomes nauseating and vomit inducing.

I have been a niche fragrance lover for a very long time. "Sensual Orchid" has been one of my signature scents for almost 10 years now. I follow many niche fragrance influencers and I can not believe that not a single one has ever spoken about it. Until now :) The scent however has been reformulated some years ago. It was more milky, more creamier before the reformulation. I now have "Sensual and Decadent" by Laurent Mezzone as well, which leans more to the original "Sensual Orchid". It's to die for. I use them both.

I finally got to smell Sirrah in Neiman Marcus. Very nice indeed. It’s on my “buy soon” list. I wouldn’t have considered it if you hadn’t recommended it.

Euphoria personified. The sensual coziness that bounces off those two fragrances... Undefeated! What candle are you burning in the background?

Two that I recently tried and really made my toes curl are the vanilla (unisex) and the jasmine(more feminine) from the Guerlain "les extrait" collection... bautiful, extraordinary quality ! but I admit the extasy disappears in a blink when you learn the price 😬

Would it be redundant to get Erba Gold if I already have Erba Pure?
Not to me. They are different fragrance. Both have fruit and musk buy Erba Pura is thick on the musky part whereas Erba Gold tones down the musk and amps up the fresh fruit aspects.
You should try laboya coya and nota sugar for tropical perfumes!

Dior Addict (fem-leaning) is very much a toe curler... also PDM Herod (unisex), Thierry Mugler Alien Essence Absolue, Thierry Mugler Angel Muse (fem-leaning), Tiziana Terenzi Delox (fem leaning), Baruti Chai (fem leaning), and pretty much every Tom Ford!

I don’t know whether I have any toe curling perfumes per se, but I have fragrances and combos that I absolutely love. I adore TF Lost Cherry, but I purchased Cherry Ambition during the recent Sephora sale and that fragrance layered with MFK Grand Soir is intoxicatingly beautiful! Kilian Black Phantom layered with Initio Absolute Aphrodisiac is killer! - Ms. Charlette

Cherry isn't one of my fave notes but I did really like French Defense.. it was slightly masculine on me, but it was my 4th fave out of the 10 in the Soulmate collection, not too bad I'd say! 😊 I wish I had gotten to try Blonde Amber on skin, on paper it just smelled like plain old wood to me lol 😅 I guess I'll have to get a sample ! 🤣😆

I have a layering trick. If you’re feeling a bit too pulled together and aloof or even a bit asexual, put a spritz of Secretions Magnifique over the fragrance on your décolleté. You’ll smell sexy, feel sexy and drift around with that just “sexed up” smile on your face. 😊
Oh my, Veronica, i know its not content of this video, but where you said cherry fragrances, Lost Cherry with its cocktail cherries that doesnt last at all, if you didnt try yet, Simone Andreoli's Vicebomb is such a stunning sirupy, ambery, amarena cherry that last and project really well (compared;) deeper, more complex etc; its probably my favorite cherry...😋🤪😘

Testing erba gold today. I’m surprised I’m not smelling fruity yet. This happens to me sometimes with new fragrances - it takes my nose a while to figure out what it’s smelling. 😂

Eg I had a lady in my previous employ ; pure class, Fabulous shoes and always wore Chanel 5, I would breathe it in with such pleasure; I eventually purchased a big bottle as I adored it; I sprayed on my skin, initially ..mmm not sure then it progressively turned into the most icky flyspray 😭🤷🏻♀️. Still adored it on my beautiful customer , just as Pas Ce Soir, love it on my Niche Sales associate , on me though … just like the cartoon with the baby vulture Beaky Buzzard “ oh nope nope nope nope” 🤣.

Sorry to list discontinued fragrances, but Alien Essence Absolue and JPG Classique Essence de Parfum are sublime. I also have emotional reactions to Xerjoff Bouquet Ideale, Byredo G Water, and Ormande Jayne Levant. I know some of these are a bit on the simple/soft side, but I have an extremely sensitive nose. My toe curling men's fragrances are Bvlgari Pour Homme Extreme and Gucci Guilty Absolute.

@@VeronicaSays People complain about the lasting power of Lost Cherry, but the longevity on me is really good. 1996 is hard to describe. It’s a mildly peppery, almost candied violet, soft leather fragrance. It’s fairly intense, so I only wear it in fall and winter.
