Hey Veronica! What a great video. I definitely remember these fragrances being hyped on RUclips about 3-5 years ago. I started collecting them in 2019. I agree that consumerism is everywhere, but we're only responsible for our own spending. Perfume isn't a necessity; it's a luxury. People who complain that content creators are wasteful should stop watching them. Having more than you need is wasteful, so even owning a single fragrance could be considered excessive. To be honest, most of my collection consists of forgotten gems. I buy and try new stuff at my own pace. I don’t feel the need to buy a ton, and I rarely declutter a fragrance. I don't mind if others do, but I also don’t like when someone features a fragrance in their “keeping only 10 for life” video and then declutters it a month later.

It's so nice to hear someone talk about these older classics. It annoys me when influencers do videos about their top 10 xyz fragrances, and they are all fragrances that were released in the last few months. It's so obvious that they were sent in PR, which is fine, but how could all of them be in the top 10?
I have a huge collection and I’ve only declutterred once in fifty years of collecting. I think a few fragrances that I’ve held onto despite using them up or rarely using them are my vintage fragrances, my souvenir fragrances and some empties that belonged to people who have died on me. They are hallmarks of my collection. I should do a better job of segregating and documenting them. It was lovely seeing your sentimental journey. Thank you ❤

Happy Mothers Day. I too started collecting during covid & prada la femme was one of my 1st but I have since decluttered as I have decided I'm not a tuberose lover. Rose Extase I've had for a few years but I have been through 1 large bottle & have 2 backups. It's a pretty jammy easy wear rose. Lattafa's Mohra Silky Rose is also one that I have 2 back ups. A pretty feminine sweet musky rose. In fact I gave a bottle to mum this morn for mothers day as she loves when I wear it.

Hi Veronica, I enjoyed this video:) I have a medium collection - maybe about 80-90 perfume but I tried many more. I love Ellie Saab girl of now OG and Shine and also La perfume . YSL Libre, PRB Olympea, Mancera Coco vanille, Choco violet and velvet vanilla, Montale Inense cafe, Chocolate greedy and Xserjoff Dama bianca will stay for ever in my colection. I also enjoy Ferragamo Amo - it is very lite but the scent is so pritty (I wish there was an intense version of it). Ariana grande Cloud intense 2.0 also survived in my collection- OG and Pink I gifted to my friend simply because I dont need 3 almost the same perfume, but it is a nice scent:) I still do not own PRB Pure XS - have to get it!
I watch channels like yours to make better choices when I do have something I want to buy. I experience products mostly without having to buy them and you save me money 😂. Don’t worry about the consumerism aspects. You are spot on that everyone is responsible for their own budget and spending.

I was inspired to purchase gorgeous fragrances like Stella McCartney Stella, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Santal Blush, Guerlain Le Petite Robe Noir, MFK Oud Satin Mood, Lancome Oud Bouquet, Bottega Veneta, Black Orchid, Miller Harris Terre d'Iris, Narciso Rodriguez for her, and YSL Manifesto. Each one of these still exist in my wardrobe today. Now, among my "older" fragrances, I've had Must de Cartier, Estee Lauder Beautiful, Cacharel Eden and Eau dEden, Halston 101, Shalimar, Ralph Lauren Lauren, Alfred Sung Sung, and the Dior Poison range in my wardrobe for years. ❤

Veronica fragrances I will always have in my collection: Alfred Sung Shi and Jewel, Issey Miyake L'Eua d'Issey, Donna Karen Golden Delicious, Paris Hilton by Paris Hilton, Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue and one that I have been holding on to for over 10yrs H2O Mariel (broke my heart when they discontinued it 😢). Yes I enjoy the feeling of getting a new fragrance, not always a brand new scents ,but new to me. The journey of fragrance collecting is beautiful. The joy fragrances bring to me. The memories of my aunts wearing Oscar Delarenta and Nina Ricci! For fragrance families. I come from a family of mostly women my brother and my son are the exception. All aunts female cousins. And we all love fragrance. My memories of each of those women is tied to a fragrance. And this Mother’s Day I decided that my mom should have something new so I sent her five Serge Lutens. Maybe she will like one as much as she likes her (very bland as far as I am concerned and that is my own opinion and I know everyone else loves it) light blue by dolce and Gabbana. She loves collecting miniatures if anyone knows of the most fabulous miniatures you can get let me know! I love buying those for her. Happy Mother’s Day everyone even if you’re not a mother, you probably had a mother. my kids don’t too much for me for Mother’s Day so I just have to celebrate by digging in my garden all day and smelling really fabulous!

Yes revisit Delina! Same thing happened to me- it was always just too screechy and sharp, but then I sprayed my sample again the other day and the dry down was so dang good! And the sharpness was not as pronounced as I remember.

Yes, 11 out of 11. I don't declutter very often. Sometimes I pass along some scents to my daughters or friends, but I am not good at letting go. All perfumes you mentioned I still like or even love. My collection is growing but before purchasing any new scents I have a look at my many bottles and try to be reasonable. Often something similar is already on the shelf... At the moment I try to concentrate on single notes in perfumes, lindenblossom or tilia for example. Have a nice weekend an thanks für your thoughts.

I have Prada La Femme (intense) and I also picked up the body cream a few years ago. Together they have great longevity and are such a lovely scent. I’ve been wanting to try the Bottega Veneta Knot for years. I love the OG BV. Happy Mother’s Day.
Bottega Veneta Knot is one of my favorite fragrances. I blind bought it on a whim after purchasing BV Bottega Venetta. It is such a glorious fragrance, and I have back ups since it's discontinued.
What a spot on description of Baiser Vole. I'm don't normally gravitate to "floral" types of perfume but there's something quite unique and hypnotic about Baiser Vole, it never disappoints. I don't wear it that often tbh but when I do, I wonder why I don't, there's just something about it.

I often times still watch your older videos 😅 and I recently picked up amo ferragamo. You are one of the reviewers that sold me on it❤ I so enjoy it! I got 2 of the 3 shines in full bottles and all of them in the travel sizes. I had to let them go. I thought I loved them initially, but I realized I just can’t handle it. It’s so thick and sweet. It’s beautiful but I can’t handle actually wearing it lol I tried! Thank you for sharing!
Aura Mugler is one of those magical, mystical, magnificent perfumes that for some reason has eluded the world of divine scents. It's one of the most beautiful, gorgeous and now almost precious perfumes out there. The bourbon vanilla is out of this world. One of my top 3 poisons. Thank you also for the introduction to Pure XS Paco Rabanne - I'm intrigued.

I have Aura EDP and LOVE IT! Alien Essence Absolue is one of my fav frags of all time, but I have to savour my bottle while it lasts. So I wear Aura in place of it. I seem to really enjoy medicinal scents, not sure why.
Ooohh I love this topic. I live in the Philly area and I love love love Coquito. $1 for a nice sized plastic cup of it (or at least it was the last time I had it). The guy pushed the little cart around. The more black flecks in it, the better. 😊 I didn't know that LM fragrance smelled like a darn Coquito but now that I know, I NEED it. I love Rose Extase. It's beautiful!! I have a sample of Baiser Vole, now I want to smell it again. I own and love GON Shine. And Tresor Nude is a beauty too. Aura was a strange one to me but it was years ago that I tried it. I want to try it again because like you said, our tastes and preferences change. And people can be very judgy about what other people are buying, etc. I think it maybe stems from jealousy. People can just be so critical. That's exactly the type of person I don't ever want to be. Yes, rose extase is still in my collection although I tend to pick my delina la rosee clone over it. Other hyped fragrances I still own: TF Noir pour femme, Hypnotic Poison, Si fiori, Florabotanica (I may declutter that one after not getting along with the carnation note). I think I need to add Prada la femme and amo ferragamo though. They sound great!

I have a few fragrances I can't seem to get rid of: Gucci Envy EdP(discontinued), BCBG Star (EdP), and Bulgari's Mon Jasmine Noir. I've had Envy for a long time and barely have any left but I'm gonna use every last squirt. I love the green metallic note, which you'd never find in a fragrance today. Star is my Christmas season scent and I get a compliment every single time I wear it. It's another oldie but a goodie and likely discontinued. And last, I'm a sucker for jasmine. Mon Jasmine Noir scratches that itch for me.
This was such a great video idea!! I’ve decluttered a LOT of fragrances 😅 lol, but one that I’ve noticed that I have never even considered decluttering is Diptyque’s Fleur de Peau; it’s just so good to my nose and I think I’ll always have it in my tiny collection 🥰

Paco Rabanne back in the day was IT. They had a unisex fragrance back in the very late 90s called "Paco". If you know you know. Silver tin bottle. I loved it. After that their fragrances got weird.
I’m guilty of having decluttered a few of these and having a few regrets unfortunately… 😬 Ralph Lauren Romance Parfum is one of the few rose perfume I still enjoy. I love Girl of Now Shine🤩. I got a sample recently and wish I had the full bottle bc I was smitten. I had the original but gave it away for it was too nutty for me. I still kept the Girl of Now Forever bc I experienced a non-stop wear over a year or two ago. Thank you for reminding me about it ✨🌺

I found a container of Aura body lotion at Marshall’s... and can’t smell it at all. It doesn’t seem “off”, and is very luxurious... so I bought an Aura-inspired oil. It’s in the mail and I’m excited to try it! In today’s world, hyper-consumerism has become the reality - and it is ruining people’s finances! But there is a difference between content creators who keep it real, and those that are more self-focused (I’m trying to be nice 😫). Personally, I appreciate channels like yours because I cannot, in any way, purchase anywhere near the perfumes that I am interested in. But I watch you (and a couple other frag-channels) to 1) have fun and live my scent-life vicariously through your videos, and 2) sift through scents to really find the ones that will work best for me. You are very right... we are adults, and we are all responsible for our own choices.

Hi Veronica, Great Video... funny because I wore my Paco Rabanne Pure Xs today.... The very first time I tested it in a shop I could smell the popcorn note but that was only the first time, since then I cant smell popcorn but I spray my cheroisa 71 over the top of it to add the popcorn note to it

I’m surprised that jpg la belle epd is rarely talked about now. It is still as beautiful as ever. And Chloe nomade absolue is amazing. I also will always love the honeysuckle in Nirvana amethyst. And though it discontinued I’ll never give up my Tom ford noir pour femme backups. I rue the day they took it off market.
Perfume preferences do definitely change....it's a total journey...interesting, exciting, boring, meh etc....our noses/brains incorporate new scents into little "scent boxes" and remember them hence our noses lead us on and on and😂....to new scent pastures. Thank you for bringing every now and then the "oldies but goodies" which opened the doors to this fascinating world of scents. By the way did you ever happen to read The Perfume by Patrick Susskind? It's an amazing story about scents..
This is exactly right! Fragrance is as much about psychology as it is about scent. 💯 I have not read that book in particular but I have read others. I have Perfume, by Jean Claude Elena, for example.
I still keep DKNY Be Delicious around because it takes me back to highschool. 😊 That round green apple shape bottle😭the memories. It has never left. 🙌 I must give Girl of Now another go-around now that my taste has expanded. Back in 2017 I was not into that scent profile. *the survivors of my collection*: Jimmy Choo by Jimmy Choo (which is still my favorite sugared Patchouli scent ever!), Le Labo Santal 33, CK Euphoria, Aquolina Pink Sugar, Shiseido Zen, Armani Code for Women, Hermes Elixir des Merveilles, Clean Clean Skin, and Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme all keep reeling me back in again & again💕

He has passed away so I am saving what is left not using it . Then I have another from the late 90's that's half full. I baby it. Only wear when I feel sentimental. You should do a video on men's colognes . There are men's colognes that remind me of a certain guy. The old school ones . My Daddy wore High Karate and old Spice .My brother wore Grey Flannel, My ex ( Opium guy) wore Royal Copenhagen , a high school boyfriend wore Aramis , My roommates boyfriend wore Obsession , My ex brother in law wore Calvin Klien. Ask your hubby to do a men's video with you . Maybe call it " Scents that remind you of a certain man". Something like that folks can contribute their memories . Would be fun . I have a huge collection and I’ve only declutterred once in fifty years of collecting. I think a few fragrances that I’ve held onto despite using them up or rarely using them are my vintage fragrances, my souvenir fragrances and some empties that belonged to people who have died on me. They are hallmarks of my collection. I should do a better job of segregating and documenting them. It was lovely seeing your sentimental journey. Thank you ❤

Happy Mothers Day. I too started collecting during covid & prada la femme was one of my 1st but I have since decluttered as I have decided I'm not a tuberose lover. Rose Extase I've had for a few years but I have been through 1 large bottle & have 2 backups. It's a pretty jammy easy wear rose. Lattafa's Mohra Silky Rose is also one that I have 2 back ups. A pretty feminine sweet musky rose. In fact I gave a bottle to mum this morn for mothers day as she loves when I wear it.

Hi Veronica, I enjoyed this video:) I have a medium collection - maybe about 80-90 perfume but I tried many more. I love Ellie Saab girl of now OG and Shine and also La perfume . YSL Libre, PRB Olympea, Mancera Coco vanille, Choco violet and velvet vanilla, Montale Inense cafe, Chocolate greedy and Xserjoff Dama bianca will stay for ever in my colection. I also enjoy Ferragamo Amo - it is very lite but the scent is so pritty (I wish there was an intense version of it). Ariana grande Cloud intense 2.0 also survived in my collection- OG and Pink I gifted to my friend simply because I dont need 3 almost the same perfume, but it is a nice scent:) I still do not own PRB Pure XS - have to get it!

I was inspired to purchase gorgeous fragrances like Stella McCartney Stella, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Santal Blush, Guerlain Le Petite Robe Noir, MFK Oud Satin Mood, Lancome Oud Bouquet, Bottega Veneta, Black Orchid, Miller Harris Terre d'Iris, Narciso Rodriguez for her, and YSL Manifesto. Each one of these still exist in my wardrobe today.
Now, among my "older" fragrances, I've had Must de Cartier, Estee Lauder Beautiful, Cacharel Eden and Eau dEden, Halston 101, Shalimar, Ralph Lauren Lauren, Alfred Sung Sung, and the Dior Poison range in my wardrobe for years.

For fragrance families. I come from a family of mostly women my brother and my son are the exception.
All aunts female cousins. And we all love fragrance.
My memories of each of those women is tied to a fragrance. And this Mother’s Day I decided that my mom should have something new so I sent her five Serge Lutens. Maybe she will like one as much as she likes her (very bland as far as I am concerned and that is my own opinion and I know everyone else loves it) light blue by dolce and Gabbana.
She loves collecting miniatures if anyone knows of the most fabulous miniatures you can get let me know! I love buying those for her. Happy Mother’s Day everyone even if you’re not a mother, you probably had a mother. my kids don’t too much for me for Mother’s Day so I just have to celebrate by digging in my garden all day and smelling really fabulous!

Yes, 11 out of 11. I don't declutter very often. Sometimes I pass along some scents to my daughters or friends, but I am not good at letting go. All perfumes you mentioned I still like or even love. My collection is growing but before purchasing any new scents I have a look at my many bottles and try to be reasonable. Often something similar is already on the shelf...
At the moment I try to concentrate on single notes in perfumes, lindenblossom or tilia for example. Have a nice weekend an thanks für your thoughts.

Aura Mugler is one of those magical, mystical, magnificent perfumes that for some reason has eluded the world of divine scents. It's one of the most beautiful, gorgeous and now almost precious perfumes out there. The bourbon vanilla is out of this world. One of my top 3 poisons. The guy pushed the little cart around. The more black flecks in it, the better. 😊 I didn't know that LM fragrance smelled like a darn Coquito but now that I know, I NEED it. I love Rose Extase. It's beautiful!! I have a sample of Baiser Vole, now I want to smell it again. I own and love GON Shine. And Tresor Nude is a beauty too. Aura was a strange one to me but it was years ago that I tried it. I want to try it again because like you said, our tastes and preferences change. And people can be very judgy about what other people are buying, etc. I think it maybe stems from jealousy. People can just be so critical. That's exactly the type of person I don't ever want to be. I have a few fragrances I can't seem to get rid of: Gucci Envy EdP(discontinued), BCBG Star (EdP), and Bulgari's Mon Jasmine Noir. I've had Envy for a long time and barely have any left but I'm gonna use every last squirt. I love the green metallic note, which you'd never find in a fragrance today. Star is my Christmas season scent and I get a compliment every single time I wear it. It's another oldie but a goodie and likely discontinued. And last, I'm a sucker for jasmine. Mon Jasmine Noir scratches that itch for me.

This was such a great video idea!! I’ve decluttered a LOT of fragrances 😅 lol, but one that I’ve noticed that I have never even considered decluttering is Diptyque’s Fleur de Peau; it’s just so good to my nose and I think I’ll always have it in my tiny collection 🥰

Paco Rabanne back in the day was IT. They had a unisex fragrance back in the very late 90s called "Paco". If you know you know. Silver tin bottle. I loved it. After that their fragrances got weird.

I’m guilty of having decluttered a few of these and having a few regrets unfortunately… 😬 Ralph Lauren Romance Parfum is one of the few rose perfume I still enjoy. Beautiful Belle Absolu by Estée Lauder, a beautiful white floral as is L’Interdit by Givenchy. l’Interdit Rouge is now my favorite but I still enjoy the OG. Happy Mother’s Day Veronica! 💐😘

I love Girl of Now Shine🤩. I got a sample recently and wish I had the full bottle bc I was smitten. I had the original but gave it away for it was too nutty for me. I still kept the Girl of Now Forever bc I experienced a non-stop wear over a year or two ago. Thank you for reminding me about it ✨🌺

I found a container of Aura body lotion at Marshall’s... and can’t smell it at all. It doesn’t seem “off”, and is very luxurious... so I bought an Aura-inspired oil. It’s in the mail and I’m excited to try it!
In today’s world, hyper-consumerism has become the reality - and it is ruining people’s finances! But there is a difference between content creators who keep it real, and those that are more self-focused (I’m trying to be nice 😫). Personally, I appreciate channels like yours because I cannot, in any way, purchase anywhere near the perfumes that I am interested in. But I watch you (and a couple other frag-channels) to 1) have fun and live my scent-life vicariously through your videos, and 2) sift through scents to really find the ones that will work best for me. You are very right... we are adults, and we are all responsible for our own choices.
I hope the Aura oil is enjoyable! I always find that matching lotions don't smell as I hope. 😬 I'm glad you understood my statement at the beginning about us all minding our budgets and being responsible in ways that fit our circumstances. 👍👍👍
Hi Veronica, Great Video... funny because I wore my Paco Rabanne Pure Xs today.... The very first time I tested it in a shop I could smell the popcorn note but that was only the first time, since then I cant smell popcorn but I spray my cheroisa 71 over the top of it to add the popcorn note to it

I’m surprised that jpg la belle epd is rarely talked about now. It is still as beautiful as ever. And Chloe nomade absolue is amazing. I also will always love the honeysuckle in Nirvana amethyst. And though it discontinued I’ll never give up my Tom ford noir pour femme backups. I rue the day they took it off market.

Perfume preferences do definitely change....it's a total journey...interesting, exciting, boring, meh etc....our noses/brains incorporate new scents into little "scent boxes" and remember them hence our noses lead us on and on and😂....to new scent pastures. Thank you for bringing every now and then the "oldies but goodies" which opened the doors to this fascinating world of scents. By the way did you ever happen to read The Perfume by Patrick Susskind? It's an amazing story about scents..
This is exactly right! Fragrance is as much about psychology as it is about scent. 💯 I have not read that book in particular but I have read others. I have Perfume, by Jean Claude Elena, for example.
I still keep DKNY Be Delicious around because it takes me back to highschool. 😊 That round green apple shape bottle😭the memories. It has never left. 🙌
I must give Girl of Now another go-around now that my taste has expanded. Back in 2017 I was not into that scent profile.

He has passed away so I am saving what is left not using it . Then I have another from the late 90's that's half full. I baby it. Only wear when I feel sentimental. You should do a video on men's colognes . There are men's colognes that remind me of a certain guy. The old school ones . My Daddy wore High Karate and old Spice .My brother wore Grey Flannel, My ex ( Opium guy) wore Royal Copenhagen , a high school boyfriend wore Aramis , My roommates boyfriend wore Obsession , My ex brother in law wore Calvin Klien. Ask your hubby to do a men's video with you . Maybe call it " Scents that remind you of a certain man". Something like that folks can contribute their memories . Would be fun .
