I've always been skeptical of these tools because the ads make it sound like it's a replacement for my snap on tool and I highly doubt it can do bidirectional controls and view / save data like my tool can. I'd love to see a review with an actual real world problem not a P0420. Also I'd love an honest review from someone who's not getting paid by fixd, not blaming you or anything it just seems pretty gimmicky as a whole.

@@JoshShare I know it just seems like they try and sell it as a valid alternative to a high end scan tool. I'd love to do a colab video with you at some point if you'd be interested.
It's obviously the same as every other obd2 code reader. No real tech should be supporting this, the way they aggressively market it as actually diagnosing problems. U1000 would be a nice one to see a review on it "diagnosing." Ooh, it has built in Google! Come on...

Let's say I want to buy this and I pay for the premium package is this just as good as one of those $5,000 scan machines that the dealers have then I've been looking into invest some money in something like you have but all the amenities for you know
None of the expensive scanners have a hotline to call. That in itself is a huge added benefit! The nice part about the advanced level scanners goes way beyond the consumer level

Is it possible to clear individual codes? Let say the device indicates an O2 sensor needs to be replaced. After it’s replaced, can I go into the app to clear out code so the warning dash light goes off?
