This 5 minute soundscape is on a low A yucca didgeridoo. The rhythm is 11 beats. I’ve added some voice and explored the tempo. I demonstrated my learning process for this rhythm in the videoruclips.net/video/YmMttHPYvck/видео.htmlsi=5ORVfzPwA7xKd8Qc The rhythm is 11 beats: Dum’ kata nka dee dee t-tg taka nka nka dum’ t-tgwith a breath on the dums (marked by ‘) and breath on the n of nk. Each of dum, kata, nka, dee, taka, and t-tg take the same amount of time. Rhythm Source: I listened to a very fast piece of music by Dubravko Lapaine and wrote down what I heard. I’m quite sure what I constructed is NOT what he played. But that’s ok. I like my version his rhythm. Learning Techniques: I record videos so that I can watch and listen to the sounds. I compare what I see and hear with what my goal was. What went well? I played for almost 5 minutes! Adding the vocals did not cause me to drop the rhythm. The rhythm was clear until I got to my fastest speed. What could I do differently? Remember to turn on the extra lights. lol.Keep my articulations accurate when I speed up. Next level is to try to add some in-breath toots. Move my jaw!
