I find it amazing how Kazuya's voice actor only played Kazuya for 20 years, and in that 20 year mark he's Kazuya in Smash, its really something special when you voice only one character then you land the biggest crossover 2 decades later.
Nice touch putting characters the VAs have also voiced from other games. I also love that while DK and Bowser have animal-like grunts and roars with no VAs, Charizard has similar sounds, but with an actual VA.

Dedede’s voice actor being sakurai is one of the biggest plot twists for me, I legitimately had no idea he even voiced a character in his own game.

Couple of other interesting things to note:
-Kazumi Totaka composed the music for Yoshi's Story as well as voiced Yoshi for the first time in said game and has been off-and-on contributing music and sound work for the Yoshi games since (including slipping his infamous Totaka's Song in a few of them)
-Hajime Wakai is not only the voice of the Pikmin (minus the Winged variety) but also is the primary composer for the Pikmin series' music
-David Hayter also voices Zangetsu in the Castlevania-inspired Bloodstained Ritual of the Night
-Lani Minella is only Lyn's English actress in Smash while Wendee Lee (Xianghua in the Soul Calibur series and Athena Cykes in the Ace Attorney series) voices her in other appearances. Smash Ultimate's staff roll even incorrectly credits Lee for Lyn's Assist Trophy appearance despite Minella's voice clips from Brawl still being used; also making Lyn the only Fire Emblem character appearing in Smash to not use their current English voice from the main series.

The voices for Cloud and Sephiroth are union actors and Smash doesn't hire union actors.
