    tanzania is oe of the easiest countries to travel in africa, if you think tanzania is bad, lol, definitely dont goto mozambique or malawai or zimbabwe burundi or west africa. tanzania , rwanda and kenya are very easy to travel and quite a relief after traveling the southern african countries for the past 7 months all on public buses.

    The touts in Tanzania can be extremely annoying. Probably the most annoying I've experienced. Once in Stonetown we had to walk over a kilometer to shake off a persistent tout who wanted to "help" us with whatever we where buying. In Arusha, then being just me alone, I was surrounded by a small crowd of them on arrival in the bus station that I had to get away from somehow. Beside this, Tanzania is a fantastic country in many ways!

    Please be careful and take care of yourself. 🙏 Thank you for telling me this; I'm currently traveling internationally too. I have found a lot of discrimination and abuse directed at women traveling solo. If I had a guy with me, I wouldn't have had the shitty things that happened to me "happen" . . . namely Italy. I'll *never* go back to Italy. I had no problems with misogyny in England, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina (a little bit in the south; namely Trebinje), Croatia, Serbia or now, Albania. 😉

      As a female hoping to travel to Italy someday, this sounds very concerning. May I ask what kind of experiences you had in Italy that made you decide not to visit again? I rather not spend time and money somewhere knowing I'll most likely have a miserable time in or worse feel unsafe. I'm always curious about the travel experiences of others as a guide.

      @@d.c.3534 Italian men are just super forward, which can range from "kind funny/flirty to downright won't leave you alone in the street/bar/wherever. I say this as a guy who spent a summer in Italy with an Italian friend from university. I'd say *mostly* they're actually harmless but they just have awful boundaries and a very old fashioned mindet about "no means yes" and "women want to be chased" etc.
      The only time I've seen anything similar was when I was in Morocco my gf last year. Those guys are something else. Be way of it if.youre a white woman, especially blonde.

      Sorry to hear about your experiences but I'm glad you had no issues in my homeland.of England 😊 True for a lot of Europe but some men just don't care
      .I was in Morocco last year with my gf and it was crazy. Men would fully hound and approach her and some even attempt to claw at / touch her clothes when I was standing literally right there with her. They ignored her obvious dislike of it, and only responded when I aggressively made them f-off.

      @@harrypike5140 Thank you, Harry! I guess it's best to travel with a large group of males and females in Italy then to discourage that type of attention. It's too bad.

    • @Myplusbee
      @Myplusbee Год назад +3

      LOL! You're very funny! Just because a guy was bugging her?! When you're woman, and you're alone, guys will always bug you even if you're in your own town let alone in a foreign country; so stop insinuating like she's in a real danger when her videos show she'd been there for almost a month.
      And throughout the entire time, it shows she'd been travelling alone or with her friend who's also a woman! If she'd be that vulnerable, would she be still there all that time?!
      And if it's about at the bus terminal as she said, even the locals get bugged by Bus Agents or tax drivers looking for passengers! It's annoying even to locals but it's not because she's white and woman.

    • @mike73ng
      @mike73ng Год назад +1

      @@Myplusbee it’s not the guy, it’s the ease that she could disappear in a place like that. I don’t think there would be much help available if help was needed.

    • @Myplusbee
      @Myplusbee Год назад

      @@mike73ng There was nothing there that would demand help... take it from me! Lemme tell you the reality. Tourists MAY BE exposed to mainly 2 "dangers", one being pickpocketing and 2nd, snatching of their stuff, especially camera and handbags! And that doesn't happen because you're tourist; hell no! It happens even locals!
      And guess what... Pickpocketing works better in crowded areas and not a place like that!
      And as for Snatchers, they will usually come from behind or in front of you while running, and when they succeed to snatch anything, they'll speed up running and disappear coz' they know the dangers of it when they got caught by civilians.
      Maybe Africa, or at least Tanzania is one of the few places where thieves would pray for police to show up immediately when they are caught by civilians!
      The only "danger" you're guaranteed to face is annoyance from people like that young man who's probably trying to beg for money! And another annoyance is Pushy Street Vendors! And sadly, they're everywhere including in our local neighborhoods... and YES, I hate them coz' they're TOO PUSHY!
      But dangers like murder, physical attacks, and the like... OH LORD! I can't say THAT CAN NEVER HAPPEN but the chance is very minimal to ZERO, and I've never heard anything like that. And REMEMBER, Tanzania is rich in SAFARI! If there would be such dangers, then the possible Victims would be those coming for Safari or those coming to Climb the Mount Kilimanjaro!
