As much as I would love to bomb a forest on a xc on crazy trail ile have to protect myself with enough body protection to throw myself at a tree lol. I can only imagine myself getting impaled lol 😂 I am a reckless rider who crashes on a roadside so imagine me on a track like that probably end up in a nettle bush or worse in a tree in a spiky hedge
Ale Oscuro Miron There were actually some parts that people would actually want to ride them on trail bikes and not on hardtailswith long negative rise stems and no dropper posts.
Good video dude, a lot of people don't consider that the gopro transform every descent into a flat trail, it's good to see that we have some XC videos on RUclips
Can you use a xc bike on trails or only on not so heavy trails like maybe do mild jumps and mild terrain mild down hill riding. Because I don’t think a xc bike will last on a trail unless you change out a few things the frame is the same but everything else maybe not like tyres different fork suspension anything to make it handle like a trail bike vs buying a trail bike because there is not much difference in terms of having better wheels and forks and changing the brakes for sport brakes instead of the stock brakes
I agree. I have never really been interested in those types of videos because it is not like what I ride normally. I want to show that xc is just as cool.
Let's be honest, those are just typical American sports where it's all about fast spurts of action and not much else. X Games type things.. Or everything that RedBull sponsors. lol. They make for easy and fun RUclips videos, especially when the riders get driven to back to the top, take a lift or whatever. It's hardly a surprise you can see some fairly overweight people in those videos of DH in bike parks considering several of them have barely pedaled at all after an entire day in the park. The least they could do is climb the hills themselves. lol That'd make it seem a lot more like an actual sport. I mean, if people enjoy it that's obviously fine but seeing *that* many random and fairly average people doing videos of the same trails over and over does get quite dull. It's brilliant for the video makers though as it's incredibly easy to mount a GoPro to your chest while rolling down a hill, it must be easy money for them so that's pretty clever I suppose. It's just too bad that those types of sports (the typical X Games stuff) always seem to end up being more about instagram, tattoos, drinking beer afterwards, looking "Bad ass" on the bike etc. than about actually about being a serious sport. You see the same in skateboarding, snowboarding etc. as well quite often. Skiers tend to be far more serious athletes than snowboarders for example, even if they're not necessarily world class or anything close to that. It's treated more like an actual sport where snowboarding (to most people I'd say) seems to be more about image, looking cool (highly subjectively), "living the life" etc. To be fair, some of those downhill channels etc. do offer tips on bike maintenance and stuff as well though so at least there's that. I just really wish they'd lose the "dude bro" mentality or whatever, I don't know why that always has to exist in the "X Games" type of hobbies/sports. It's just tiring to me and makes them seem a bit slow to be honest.. :/ Not everything is "DUDE AWESOME!", "HOLY FUCK SICK!", "OMG GNARLY!" etc. lol it just comes across as dumb.
SAVAGE! Watch enough mtb fail compilations and you realize 95% of crashes come from being in the air. Not to say that I won't make videos on some proper jumps... but for me, it's all about the fitness.
Eh pasado por rutas mucho más complicadas que esas con una Oxford kamikaze, eso sí es vivir al límite ( la bici se partió en dos a si que solo fueron 2 viajes pero meh )
I don't understand XC. Seriously, whats so fun about wearing skin suits and pedalling up a mountain? If it's all about fitness, well, I still don't get it. You have to be quite fit for downhill as well. For me XC is more like an adrenalin kick for hardcore roadies but maybe I am totally wrong.
Come on, people are going to fitness to pedal to the music nowadays. There's air conditioning and no dirt, rain, sun, defects, risk of falling, eating some flies, being bitten by mosquito when you stop and other problems with hostile nature.
I’ve been riding hard tails since I was 2. Just think of yourself as a jockey on a horse. The jockey never moves whilst the horse does all the work

Guy @ 1:20 pushing his kid on a DH trail
"I'm a camel dude!" - Such a rookie mistake...
Good video dude, a lot of people don't consider that the gopro transform every descent into a flat trail, it's good to see that we have some XC videos on RUclips
Thanks Christophe! Hey someone has to rep the XC shredders right?
I always ride DH trails on an XC bike, it's not as bad as I thought it'd be ngl.
I like the perspective. Where/how did you mount the camera at the start, from 0:55?
12:45 That's what she said

I liked it a lot and very good material.
Just some dudes having fun
these aren't dh trails :v
try the same on hardline or something
Closest thing in my area. But ya hardline is more intense lol.
Finally i found a xc RUclipsr
You already know what's up! XC is where it's at!
6:55 mins the reason why u should drop your saddle
They don't have nuts. If you have nuts It's impossible to ride down this shit with saddle as high as they have.
THE HARDTAIL GUY IS A LEGEND
No hate, but these but these are probably xc/am trails but nowhere near DH and also get your saddle down
Where did you get those 1999 helmets wheres the sweet visors to them
Went back in time...

So many other peeps on the trail!!
I'm used to seeing no one for 50k's!!
It's really cool. Oakland is a very popular riding destination!
Good to see some xc videos, so tired of the redbulls wannabe youtubers doing enduro etc

So this is where all the guys who dont like to hit big jumps hang out. Lol jk i like xc also

C sup That feeling when you clear that steep and masssive climb for the first time 👌
Is it true hard trail riders have low testosterone due to damaged testies?

It's all about the fitness bro, know what's up
alright then, I still prefer the lift tho ;D
Come on, people are going to fitness to pedal to the music nowadays. There's air conditioning and no dirt, rain, sun, defects, risk of falling, eating some flies, being bitten by mosquito when you stop and other problems with hostile nature.
