      This augment was bugged and didn't scale off of power strength. Now it does. I can get 38k health on my nidus with a ton of strength

    Things to note, the augment is either bugged or is intended not to work with power strength, it only scales of base health, regardless of what you add, archon shards, other health mods or arcanes.
    The formular seems to be:
    Base health + (base health × 0.04 × 1)
    0.04 = the value of the augment in decimals
    1 = represents the lowest amount of stacks to have any effect, theoretical max being 300.
    Useing nidus prime as a base 650 × 0.04 = 26
    Meaning the augment only gives 26 extra health per stack.
    26 × 100 = 2600 (base 100 mutation stacks)
    26 × 300 = 7800 (with augment)
    Then add the base health value
    7800 + 650 = 8450
    Sadly, it does not scale with strength, if it did 25k + health would be achieved easily
    Also it seems bugged at the moment because you still get the health increase if your linked to an enemy
    Edit: its been fixed, now scales with strength and you still get the bonus linking to an enemy

      It was intended to work while linking to an enemy. DE had mentioned that in another tweet about it

    It was pretty clear even before release that it wasn't gonna be very useful. You should gain bonus damage when linking to enemies too at the very least.
    It actually feels like a conclave augment lol.

    Also it’s refreshing to see an actually good fashion frame. I never use the infested theme, but great coloring and attachments

    Yeah, I kinda saw that coming.
    It also just keeps on feeding into the issue with parasitic link in general, where you have to stay near a target to keep it active, which means Nidus kit only really works in Survival where you can just hunker down in a single room and murder.
    Also, instantly losing all that bonus health as soon as parasitic link runs out or gets disconnected means that on high level endurance the next hit is just gonna one-tab you, triggering your undying and giving you a very short time window to re-apply the link.
    This augment makes you way too reliant on an ability that you can't keep going whilst moving through a mission.

      I mean isn’t that just the problem with nidus in general? His kit revolves almost entirely around building mutation stacks and you’re only really gonna do that in a survival mission type where the enemy density is high enough. I don’t particularly see any other place nidus is anything more than OK aside from survival.

    You could run the carapace mods for additional armor and HP , Secondly if you combine him with Chroma with chroma using his new augment and Gloom this effectively gives you around a permeant 50 percent damage reduction massive hp and it will heal the chroma roughly 17-19 percent per kill you get then if hes running gloom you will be getting that 19 percent back your self this is not mentioning the nidus buff

    The agument seems to be glitched and doesnt actually scale with Powerstrength ATM or at least for nidus, ive had weird interactions with -powersgrenfth nidus (theres some bug reports on the forums about it) i got to 9k health with min strenght nidus
    As well its eirher a shadow nerf or a bug that now his link doesnt give your ally a buff based on their own strength rather it reverts back to yours

    Been testing with the mod it's crazy with max stacks made Inaros have 100,000 health

    Same as with the chroma one, it's a ''diliberate car crash'' mod, you will just die when using it, they could have made chroma an actual good frame with the augment, Making it split the dmg you take between shields and health and making the 5% healing per 3 sec be when you kill and not teammates, also letting the health reg stack with kills.

    Does the huge bonus HP on your friend's Inaros pumped up the damage of his new 4th ability ?
    If it's the case, man that would be some insane synergy between those two frames in terms of dps/survivability/CC

      It's health based for damage and Inaros can now reach 500k+ health with a team set-up, so that should be some pretty sweet damage with around 50k per tick. Also, Arcane Grace goes nuts on both Inaros and Nidus for healing XD

    I think it´s cool that his augment is a vitality replacer, i just hope they remove caps from it.
    I first thought that he would get the HP himself regardless of the 3 active, which i would appreciate more, cuz nullies and such just fuck that whole thing over.

      They put this kind of caps for performance reasons. Otherwise a random Nidus could join a pub lobby, pull out 600k hp and crash a low end pc easily or kill frame rates with it. Diriga before they put a cap on Contagious Bond could just apply 22k heat procs on multiple enemies and crash your game in an instant to give another example to that.

    Just saying i have 12k with mine also i pair the melee dagger stip mod and melee influence and arcane grace and guardian to stay alive i also hear the mod was bugged but try what i said with any group frame inaros is best for it

    I am personally a big fan of more teamplay oriented mods and augments. Kinda wish there were more crazy Auras to work with too.
    Honestly the vitality mod restriction should be a bug though, imo.

    just played w a nidus that has this, i got to 120k hp, you need the extra mod for stacks on nidus to really make this shine

      ​@@ciborgification I reckon it's a phrasing issue. You know, they wanted to make it clear that allies get the bonus as well, but ended up phrasing it in a way that made it sound like you only get the effect on allies.

    Btw you get 90% dmg reduction when linking to an enemy, and with the new eclipse that gives you 75% you get 97.5% DR, meaning 40 times the ehp. Along side the massive health bonus and the already larger than average armor value he can get some massive ehp.

    This mod looked like trash to me before its release. Seems like my assumption was confirmed. If anything, it allows for more health with less mod capacity.

    The augment is not good in any context. No where does nidus need 10k health he doesnt also need the damage reduction from linking to an enemy as anything below lvl 500 is tankable with just adaptation. A nidus linked to an enemy with 1000 health is orders of magnitude tankier than a nidus with 10000 health linked to an ally. He doesnt need anywhere near the power strength youre recommending because, similarly, you dont need red crit damage on your weapon of choice until the point in enemy level where youd instead need more survivability. Yeah the 300 hp ps from 4 is cool, but all it takes is one bombard, napalm or eximus heavy gunner to one tap you, regardless of whether you have 1000 health or 10000 health. The only thing to stop this is, you guessed it, the dr from linking to an enemy. This augment is purely, purely cosmetic and braindead to a point that even for DE, who is consistent only in disappointing, is impressive.
